Nice hotel but if you get 2 "Queen Beds" the beds are not Queen size, they're more like Full size. Service & Cleanliness were excellent as to be expected with a Hilton hotel!! :-)

One comes to expect a certain standard for a Hilton Garden Inn, and this property meets the standard in almost every way. I guess if I had to pick anything with the hotel itself, the side chair was beginning to show some age and wear...but that's a bit persnickety on my part. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Check in/out took less than a minute. Our only complaint is the lack of good coffee. The in-room coffee pot is outdated. A hotel of this caliber should provide Keurig-type coffeemaker in each room, or an espresso coffee bar in the lobby. We are happy to have the option of an upscale hotel on the south end of town--convenient location when visiting family in Kankakee. We ended up staying an extra night and were pleased to be able to book a second night on the spur of the moment. I, however, slept like a baby both nights, so I can't complain. Because we partied late and slept in both days, we missed the breakfast, and coffee in the room had only enough sugar and cream for one of us, which seems a bit stingy. We were in town for a family funeral, and this hotel was a perfect home base for this sad event. We checked in early, checked out around 11 a.m. the following day, and spent time reminiscing and talking with other family members in the beautiful, comfortable lobby by the two-sided fireplace. I am a business man and travel regularly. I know what is normal hotel procedure. This was not even close. I reserved the room through Expedia, as a pre-paid reservation, only to arrive and find that it was not held for us. We had reserved a non-smoking suite and 'all they had left were smoking rooms'. So, the hallway stunk, the room was a smoking room, […] our clothes smelled like smoke. When I complained, the girl at check-in 'had no other rooms available' because apparently the room I already PAID for they had given away! No knowledge of the word 'reservation' apparently and no integrity to keep the reservation. Next morning I talked to the 'manager' who did not offer anything other than 'I'm sorry'. Making the room free and covering cleaning of our clothes would have made up for it. But instead they have a free negative advertisement by me to anyone who will listen. Bad business. So I told them I would make sure NOT to reccomend them and NOT ever stay with them again. Подробнее

adjoining rooms made it annoying to get to sleep thanks to a hotel full of wedding partiers and revival guest in the room next to us. Sounded like there was a revival going on in the room next to us people were talking so loud. Had to turn tv up very loud just to drown out noise. Breakfast buffet was not organized very well either. Welcoming hotel midway to our destination. Bed skirt was torn and hanging off--otherwise good enough--comfortable and clean. Pillows too full and huge -- and they did not have any others. Breakfast was very good.

This was a very nice hotel. By some of the other reviews I read, I thought it may not be. The pool is pretty small, but worked well for our family. Breakfast is not included, but good for under $10 in the hotel. We did not eat other meals there, but the prices were between $10 & $20. Overall it was a very nice stay:)

Great hotel! Very clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating. Food from on site restaurant was also very good, if a bit pricey.

Awesome stay. Headed to Champaign, IL to see UM beat Illinois, then stayed in Kankakee overnight while we were headed to Chicago the next day. The concierge directed us to a great pizza place called Aurelios which was about 7 miles away. Fantastic pizza.

My wife and I stayed here 8/12/11 for a dive trip, It is about 15 mins from the quarry ,So that was nice . There is awesome mexican restaurant right next door. The hotel staff were very helpful.
