Сомнительные окрестности и слишком дорогая еда и напитки. Просто берите пиво и закуски в киосках на улице.

Этот отель достаточно хорошо расположен. Чистота отеля была безупречна. В целом этот район города выглядел хорошо. От отеля примерно 10 евро на такси, через улицу небольшая шаверма (хорошая). Меньше пяти минут до метро, которое открывает дорогу ко ВСЕМУ! Может, 3-4 остановки до музея Акрополя. Приветливый персонал, и wi-fi в номерах. Хороший бассейн […] на крыше. Я в него не залезал, но цены в баре были немного завышены, и алкоголя было мало. Хотя ночной вид на Парфенон заставил нас им воспользоваться. По расположению этот отель был определенно самым лучшим. Это нормальный отель, но окрестности плохие, и это все испортило. Не очень приятно находиться в городе, если вы живете в районе, который кажется захудалым, темным и небезопасным. Хотя на метро удобно добираться до центра (всего несколько остановок), но жить там было неприятно. Также планировка номера показалась очень странной — много места, но он так […] обустроен, что казался неправильным. Не мог дождаться, когда уеду оттуда. Неудобная кровать, все казалось немного старым, знававшим лучшие времена. Лифты были медленные, казалось, что они могут не доехать до конца. Соединение с интернетом полностью разорвалось на два дня, когда я там был, даже интернет в бизнес-центре не работал, а он был мне нужен для работы, но не повезло. Хорошие стороны: обслуживание приветливое и приятное, еда достаточно хорошая, и, думаю, у них неплохой бар и бассейн на крыше, хотя у меня не было возможности туда сходить. Кажется, у отеля есть проблема с водой, точнее... вода капает с кондиционеров. Часто в коридорах стояли ведра на полу, и никаких предупреждений, так что можно было дегко наткунуться. Расположение очень хорошее и близкое к метро. В общем, я прекрасно провел время и рекомендую этот отель.

В этом отеле одни из самых больших номеров — люкс, какие у меня были в Афинах, если не самые большие. В ванной есть ванна и душ, и она очень просторная. Интернет бесплатный и достаточно быстрый, лишь иногда чуть медленней. Через улицу ресторан «Greek taverna» с хорошей едой и разумными ценами. Потрясающий вид с крыши, где находится бар и бассейн. Рядом […] станция Metaxourgeion, на метро можно добраться куда угодно за считанные минуты. Можно прогуляться пешком до районов Омония и Синтагма — 5-15 минут. Ковры в коридорах нужно поменять. В этом отеле отличный персонал, в то же время окрестности не лучшие, прекрасный ресторан через улицу, метро всего в нескольких метрах, и на следующей стации остановка экскурсионных автобусов — очень удобно.

Был на Специальных летних Олимпийских играх в июле этого года и искал подходящий для своей семьи отель. Отель находится в хорошей части Афин, симпатичный ресторан прямо через улицу. Отель немного дороговат, но еда и напитки по разумным ценам, и стоимость номера. Район по вечерам может быть немного опасным, так что не советую ходить одному. Мы гуляли […] без проблем, но все время ходили вместе. Сам по себе отель был чистый и поддерживался в хорошем состоянии. The location is great, in front of metro. We have a room with some view of Acropolis on the 7th floor which is nice.  But the hotel decor, amenities and service are just very standard. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooftop was not open and that was a big disappointment. It was April and warm. Athens is full of smokers. Nice hotel but too many traffic jam in the area: reach the hotel or to go out from the center it can take too much time especially if you are in a business trip

the quality and the service in the hotel every time is declining. if you take shower the full toilet will under water. Located in central Athens. Short trip to all majors. No parking, except for motorcycles/scooters which can park in front. Gym is a joke. Great view from the roof club/pool. good staff.

Very good deal for Athens. Only downside are the drug users that line the street that connects this with Omonoia. Also if I wanted to be picky i would also say the mattress is too firm. But still my #1choice

Overall, the Classical Athens Imperial was a good hotel. The view from the rooftop pool and bar was phenomenal. We spent several hours lounging by the pool with drinks in hand and enjoying the scenery. Prices are what you would expect at this type of location (high but not outrageous). It was hard and noisy but I have found this typical of European hotels so I didn’t take the rating down too much for it. Other than that, we loved the room. It was large, well furnished and clean. The hallway smelled of smoke but the room did not. The best part was the four-hands massage! The “spa room” is pathetic but the therapist were fantastic. The location was great for our purpose. It was right off the hop-on hop-off tour route but also walkable from most of the main tourist areas (15-30 minutes). For the price, I was satisfied with the hotel and would recommend it to others. 5 star hotel that has seen better days. Seem to have cut back on maintenance budget as a few things were not quite right in the room. Plus no hand soap provided! (another cutback?)

The hotel is convenient to get to on the metro, right outside the Metraxiough (not sure if spelled correctly) and just out of the main centre of athens. 10/15 mins in all to get to Syntagma Sq. We got a superior room so if I'm being honest I expected a bit more but it was extremely comfortable with a massive bed! Room a little small and no view in […] ours outher than the central atrium. Bathroom a good size and the shower was excellent. Loved it that there was a telephone next to the toilet. The roof top pool and pool bar are very nice and worth a visit. Cocktails and other drinks are a little pricey but that is hotels. View of the acropolis was good. Staff very friendly and helpful storing bags on checkout day. Good location. Close to the Metro transport. Easy to go to the Airport by Metro. Friendly staff. Free WiFi Old interior furnishing in need of an update renovation. There is some water issue with leaking water from shower recess door and from shower over bath flooding the bathroom floor. It is more like a 3 star than 5 star hotel.

We thought the hotel was in a good location as far as being close to the sites. There is a great view of the Acropolis from the roof of the hotel. The 2 complaints we had was that the bed was very hard, and the shower door in our room had a gap so the water leaked all over the floor. The staff was great and the hotel was clean.

Good hotel bad location

This is NOT a five star hotel. I am a regular traveler, and I travel all over Europe all the time. This hotel is not a five star hotel by any standard. Although the staff are very nice and helpful, I had two major problems with this hotel. First, as you enter the hotel lobby, there is a huge smell of cigarette smoke which hits you in the face. It is […] really bad. Secondly, the bathroom in my room was filthy and had yellow and black mildew all over in the corners and around the tub. The shower door leaked at the bottom and after taking a quick shower, the entire floor of the bathroom was full of water. This is such an elementary issue which one should not encounter at even a three star hotel let alone a five star one. This hotel, is at best, a three star hotel. The breakfast was very nice though, and the staff very nice and professional. The location is also convenient as it is next to a metro station. In the same square where this hotel is located, there are a couple of other hotels that are better and offer lower prices, and because of that, and due to the above problems I mentioned, I would not stay at this hotel again. The Classical Imperial was very nice. Close to the metro so traveling wasn't a problems. The bed was very comfortable considering, my problems finding a bed to sleep on comfortable. My only issue was that the room was a little hot, but over all it was great...We received the room facing the intersection of the lobby. Although we did not have a nice […] view, the center of the lobby isn't a bad view either. The only thing I have to complain about was the heat, I would book this hotel again. Service was great, breakfast was great (keeping in mind this is a greek hotel breakfast) and location is great. This is a good hotel in a bit of a bad neighborhood. The rooms are good size and the amenities are fine. It is convenient to the metro. The only drawback was the lack of good restaurants in the area and the quality of the people you encountered between the metro and the hotel. The metro is close to hotel make u move very fast around the city

Spacious, clean room. Great location out of the caos, but right in front of metro...10 min. to all tourist attractions. Great, and cheap restaurant right across street or 2 euro gyro..2 hr. Laundry one block away.

Excellent hotel. I read some reviews around the area...but it's not bad...just located in a big city. Close to two metro stops, helpful staff, large, modern bathrooms (mine had an actual shower stall) which is rare in Greece...and the rooftop bar and view of the Acropolis is fabulous. Would definitely stay there again.

The thing is I really think the hotel was indeed very good and a 5 star quality, however, when I left I had 2 hours before my flight leaves so I left my suitcase at the storage with the reception staff and was at the coffee area waiting, when i got to my next destination I was shocked to find they STOLE a new perfume Chanel I just bought, when I saw […] it I got so upset of course went right away to buy a new one, but so much regreting for not locking my suitcase at all time, I didn't think you need to in 5 stars hotel where they shall have cameras and more professional staff.. This was a great place to stay for my first trip to Athens. The hotel is located just across the street from a metro station that easily connects to the airport line. This became a very important issue as I found myself stuck in Greece for an extra night so I made a few trips to/from the airport, The staff helped make the most of my unexpected stay […] by providing towels and directing me to the tram which took me to the beach. Easy, easy, easy! As for the hotel itself- I loved it. It has a funky/eclectic vibe, but easily catered to all ages. The property is well maintained and staffed. My room had only a partial view of the Acropolis and the city, but was clean and well stocked with everything I needed. They've thought of everything including providing electrical adapters (5 euros, but refunded upon return) for my laptop/phone. The free wireless internet connection was sometimes very weak, but worked most of the time including on the roof top pool deck area. In addition to the incredible view, which speaks for itself- hanging out on the roof is a nice way to spend and end your day in Athens. I did not try the hotel food, but did enjoy a cocktail by the pool. It was average, but did its job of cooling me off. I prefered to go across the street and grab a bite at the only eatery in the area. A Greek friend, also visiting Athens agreed that this place made a nice gyros. This hotel was the most bang I got for my American dollar while in Greece. I would (and have already)recommended it to other friends planning a trip to Athens. Подробнее

The Hotel definately offered such value for money. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing. The only downside is the location. Its in the heart of Athens, which is pretty dirty and derelict. If you can look past that, than this hotel is a definate winner!

This was a very comfortable hotel and conveniently located near a metro station. The staff was very helpful and the roof pool/bar has a fantastic view of the Acropolis, especially at night. great hotel with a great roof (pool, bar) but in a convenient but sketchy neighborhood

The hotel was great. Very convenient location. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It did lack character, though. Very beige! Our only complaint was that the pool closed at 8pm and only opened at 9am which was sad as the weather was hot.

I speak the language and can get around. Yet, this first-class hotel is not in a good location. Nothing in the immediate area can appeal to visitors, with the exception of a decent restaurant across the street .
