It is really an eye-opening sight for me at Langham Place Hotel at Mongkok, Hongkong. I was staying on 35th floor. I can see the beautiful clouds and all the tall buildings in HK. Though it rained for my first 3 days stay in HK, but I love the nice, hot, high humidity weather. The hotel is linked to the Langham Place shopping mall. So I had no problem […] doing my shopping there. The breakfast at the hotel needs to be improved in terms of its variety. The waiters and waitress at the Place spoke good English and their attitude and professionalism in their work need to be encouraged. On my 2nd day, I discovered that one of the houskeepers, a filipino lady (not susan), took the trouble to put all my clothes lying on the bed and chairs and hang them in the wardrobe. This is something that no housekeeper had ever done to my clothes during my previous travel holidays in other countries. I wanted to know her name, but she never appeared for the next 5 days. Her action make me feel so soothing that she really "Go The Extra Mile" to make the guests felt at home. The rest of the housekeepers just put my clothes back to the bed and chairs in an orderly manner. There was the Lady Street (Ni Ren Street) that sold lady clothes just three or four lanes away from the hotel. I love to eat the small little foods from the streets stalls. Although I speak Cantonese in my own country (my dialect is Teochew), but I love to hear HK people speaking Cantonese. It is so fluent and captivating to hear. The facilities at my hotel room were also great. There was a DVD player attached to the big TV. There were 5 different weight pillows on my bed that allow me to have fantastic good night rest for the 6 nights. The fitness centre on 41th floor was also another great place to go. I am a fitness person. That is one of the criteria that I will choose a hotel to stay with during my holidays travel. The hotel must have a reasonable level of quality fitness centre. he room is spacious considering it is hotel in HK. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location is good as good access to shopping centre and MTR. I would come back to Langham Place Hotel if I go to HK again.

There are many reasons to love this hotel...the art, the service, the breakfast, the branding, the amenities and certainly the Club Level experience. If you can do it, book a Club room. You'll be richer for it, both in terms of experience and money. Seriously, between the humongous, varied and pretty delicious breakfast buffet and the ridiculously satisfying […] happy hour "snacks" (read: beautiful spread of tasty food and decadent chocolates), you would never need to leave the hotel for food. And all of the above is included in the Club price. As are champagne and a whole host of alcohols. Of course, it's Hong Kong, so you're going to want to leave the hotel and perhaps even try some deep fried animal you've never considered eating before. But thanks to the Langham Place, you wouldn't need to. I didn't list the room on my list of loves, but only because it was more of a really, really liked. It's a great room (the Club Place Room)...modern and tasteful and big enough with a great bathroom and terrific view (but not of the Harbour as we expected). The room didn't make me melt, but it definitely made me smile. Oh, and it's spotlessly clean. And don't get me started on their menu of pillow options, some with lavender, others with rose...another testament to this hotel going above and beyond the expected. The service is exceptional...the housekeeper even folded my dirty t-shirt and underwear (I trust she wore gloves). It's smiles all-around on the staff and they make you feel like a prince (or princess, depending). And the art. Everywhere. It is so good. Incredible sculptures. Playful watercolors. Stunning Acrylics. Who needs the Met. I almost forgot to mention the gym. I didn't use it of course, but it is easily the nicest and largest hotel gym I have ever seen. And it did have the harbour view. The location isn't the best, but cabs are cheap in Hong Kong, so that's not a problem. This hotel was a bit dissapointing.Although the location was great and it is well situated close to shops and cafes. The best thing about it is, that it is about 2 blocks away from one of the famous Hong Kong Shopping Street called The Lady's Market, and actually right in front of it is a big mall(I think there is a connected bridge to the mall). Fantastic! There are many art piece all corners of the hotel premise. The customer service is top class; they even send a birthday cake to the room and surprise my wife, who is only being register as the 2nd occupant.

I stayed in a Club Level room where the amenities made my trip to Hong Kong truly special. A great breakfast every morning and wonderful complimentary happy hours each evening before dinner - - all included! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Langham Place. It is a great location food, shops, markets and MTR all within walking distance. We would certianly recommend it to our friends when going to Hongkong.

Very clean, Cleaning staff did a very good job. Front desk very helpful and polite. Lovely fresh crisp sheets every day. Big fluffy clean towels every day. Room cleaned and tidied every day. Very good location. Close to all the markets and public transport. Priced very well. Enjoyed my stay immensely.

We arrived at 10 at night, the staff were very friendly and the lobby area was extremely luxurious. You really do pay for what you get. This is our 3rd time at the hotel! We really love the stay coz it's so accessible & comfy! There's a hugh shopping mall just next to the hotel connected by a bridge, & Mongkok MTR station is just below the mall! Around the hotel, you can find nice food too! lots of shops around the hotel and the Ladies' market is about 10 mins away. We like the hotel […] room coz it's very clean and comfortable, the bathroom is nice too! Hotel service is good, staffs are polite. This is our 3rd time stay and actually we do expect abit more from the hotel e.g like a free complementary brekkie, but that did not happen (slightly disappointed). But one of the hotel staff was attentive to our conversation and gave us a surprise when we went back to our room on one of the nights - a surprise bday cake for my husband on the table!!! This is no 5star; at best a 4star stretched to the max. The hotel is apparently only 2-3 years old but seemed like a 6-10 year old. The room feels old. There is nothing hi-tech about the room unless an IP phone and LCD TV means that. The TV remote control wasn't even working well. The TV was poor quality with lousy images in terms of clarity and color. […] Concepts like having a box filled with useless information were plain cheesy. Eg. A tag says "I am yours free" on the complimentary bottle of water. Personally, this is quite darn and environmentally unfriendly. If a hotel positions herself to be 4-5star ranking, complimentary water is basic - no need to say that it's free. The bathroom was not well maintained with silly glass sink where the the tap is sealed with dirty-looking rubber gum. Blind for the bath room was not of good quality. The gap between the floor and the bath door had stains (black colored. mold?) which is probably not removable through normal cleaning. These are due to impractical and faulty interior design and certainly NOT due to cleaning ladies' fault. In fact, the chamber ladies of this hotel were fabulous, just about the only wonderful impression of the hotel. Our room was thoroughly cleaned everyday and I saw the chamber lady vacuuming the carpet well. Lobby is small and they had "arty" concept by having art installations at the lobby which i thought was somewhat pretentious. One of the installations has two 3D baby/foetus hanging about. Fair enough if this was art to the artists and for the relevant audience but hey, isn't this a commercial hotel? The 3D hanging baby/foetus were just morbid to me and the dimly lit corridoors were not helpful if you return late alone and had to walk through the long corridoor. Redeeming factor for the Langham Place at Mongkok, Kowloon is its location. Super convenient if what you are looking for is a taste of working class hongkong and lots of street activities in the night, pass midnight. MTR station is right Подробнее

The location of the hotel is extremely important to us as we do not drive and usually go alot of places by MTR. Is just centrally connnected to MTR via Langham Place Mall at Mongkok. Is also very near to the airport (approximately 35mins by cab). don't waste time taking hotel shuttle bus that does not give much savings. just cab. In terms of ammenities, they offer fantastic bath services at level 42 - spa, sauna, steambath, jacuzzi & swimming pool. you can even enjoy a drink while swimming. Close to MTR station. Very convenient.

My husband and I had a delightful stay at this elegant hotel. It was our first time in Hong Kong and we enjoyed the whole experience so much we plan to come again and stay here. We also ate dinner in their Two-Michelin star rated restaurant, which was also excellent. Overall, I'd give this hotel and its staff excellent ratings.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was great, loved the glass wall bathroom - can sit in the bath and see the view and the TV. Well worth the cost per night. Many food options in house and right outside the door. Close to the metro. Room was modern and clean with free bottled water twice daily. The hallway had a bad smell a couple of days, but never the room. The staff was wonderful. If you are going to stay in Kowloon I recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, Great location for the markets and metro access if you are the adventorous type. Sty on the club level if you can afford it.

Located right next to a big trendy mall with a metro station across the street. Rooms are small but comfortable. Great and friendly service.

The Langham Place Hotel Mongkok is well maintained with key pieces of sculpture and artwork littering the lobby and various areas in the hotel. A fresh fragrance lingers in the lobby area and if you like it enough, you can purchase it from a mini kiosk which sells propaganda art t-shirts and other Langham branded memorabilia. The run off the mill / […] regular rooms are well equipped with an iHome iPod dock, 32 in LCD TV, DVD player, IP phone and the toilet is restocked daily with mini kit bags of disposable toiletries. The more expensive rooms are equipped with larger 42 inch TV screens and of course, more space. Closely and conveniently located are plenty of amenities such as the Langham Shopping Ctr and Mongkok MTR station. The Michelin starred Chinese restaurant Ming Court is excellent and reknowned for it's dim sum. Robatayaki bar drinks are well mixed and go really well with the sushi and other tapas portioned Japanese delights. Excellent level of consistency always. Room is pretty & cosy; the best is - its connected to a shopping mall & MTR is just few steps away from the hotel. Just behind the hotel you can also get typical HK style breakfast congee & you tiao. If you're in for HK Roasts, there are 2 stalls on this same street - catch them fresh in the morning.

Arrived at the Hotel at 7am after a long flight from Melbourne expecting to leave our baggage in reception until check-in time, was very surprised by the courtesy of the staff and to my amazement they checked us into our room so we could freshen up and relax after out long flight. This hotel is located at the heart of Hong Kong. 1 block away from the funnest shopping district in the city. Great staff, great rooms. I would stay there again.

We spent a night in Hong Kong on our way to Taiwan, and the Langham was ideal. We did not realise it, but there is a shuttle of some sort from the Airport, so i would suggest people inquire about this before hand. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Temple Street Market, which was enjoyable after a 10 hour flight.
