WE HAD A HANDICAP ROOM AND IT WASN'T REALLY HANDICAP FRIENDLY IN THE BATHROOM. THERE WAS NO CHAIR TO SIT IN THE SHOWER, AND YOU COULDN'T GET A WHEEL CHAIR IN THE SHOWER EITHER. THERE WAS NO TOILET SEAT ON THE TOILET SO THERE WAS NO PLACE TO SIT AFTER YOUR SHOWER TO GET DRESSED.

everything was great till monday from 11:00pm to 3:00am, people in room 202 were extremely noisy. i called the front desk around 12:30 am tuesday but noone answered the phone. Hotel was ok, but the bed felt like you were sleeping on a piece of plywood and the pillows were no different. Worst night sleep I've ever had at a hotel. If having a comfortable bed with a nice pillow is important to you, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Very quiet and clean room. Only real room complaint was noisy A/C unit. But its that way in most hotels. Employees were very helpful and friendly. Indoor pool, nothing special, but clean. Gym, had a few treadmills, but since walking is what I like to do it was fine for me. Decent amount of places to eat near the hotel. Also a mall was not far away.

I was in Sumter to help with funeral services for a friend. The location was easy to find from the airport in Columbia and from the surrounding communities. The Holiday Inn Express had a great breakfast! The hotel is very new and and was beautifully decorated. The room was clean and cozy with a micro-fridge unit and a large HDTV.

Hotel was very noisy at night-kids running up and down the halls, slamming doors, etc. Room was very nice and comfortable. But, while we were out all day, no one came in to clean it. Still had unmade beds and dirty towels when we returned around 9:00. Lots of parking lot shouting and loud cars at night.

We live in NY and have relatives in the Siler City area. After our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Sumter, we've found our new home away from home while visiting our NC relatives. We'll be back!

I chose this hotel over others in the area based upon reviews like this one. Haha. So, overall, this hotel works out fine. I stayed for a week on business. The breakfast bar in the morning was good for me. I really like having fresh Belgian waffles like Hampton Inn, but the Holiday Inn Express just has an automatic pancake maker. --It worked out fine. […] Hot scrambled eggs, bacon (should be crispier for my taste), sausage, etc., plus juice, yogurt, milk, cereal, danish and fruit were also part of the selections. -Pretty good. The room is adequate, but here are the things I would like to see changed: the carpet was a little musty, a window screen, at least 30% fresh air intake for the A/C system (the system was only providing 100% recirculated air which didn't help the slightly musty smell), a better/ bigger desk for professionals, some small water damage repair near the bathtub, and I would like to be able to reject the morning paper (if you don't remember by yourself, $1 is added in your bill everyday). The nice things: great location in Sumter for local restaurants and shopping, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big enough for one or two with a decent shower head, nice flat-screen TV with HBO, & a big opening window. Great hotel to stay in, very spacious and clean. But spend the money to go across the street to IHOP for breakfast. The one at the hotel leaves alot to be desired.

We took a trip from MD to Florida and back stopping at several places off the beaten path. This was a little off of 95 (about 20 minutes and watch for deer at night) but wanted to stop and see Swan Lake. Of all the hotels we stayed, this was voted the most comfortable. On our third day the ceiling in the bathroom started to leak. When I reported it to the front desk they gave me the run around. Finally when they decided to change our room it took them four hours to clean the room and put us In it. We wasted half of the day waiting for them to fix the situation.

This is a very nice hotel in a centreal location near restaurants and shopping areas. The mini-suites are spacious and have every convenience for a multi-night stay.

I am a Sumter native, and the location of the hotel is convineient and easily accessible; it is across the street from 3 major restaurants and a Walmart. The staff was pleasant; the indoor pool, fitness center and business center were all kept clean and had a welcoming feel. There is also free Wi-Fi and you can print for free in the business center. A full hot continental breakfast is availible, but the quality of the food is not great (I'd rate it a 5 on a scale of 10) but there is a lot of variety. Eggs, bacon, waffles, cinnamon rollls, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal....you get the hint. Good for a sit down breakfast or grab and go. My family and I booked a family room as there was no availability on base as we are moving to Sumter due to a military PCS. The staff were very friendly, the cleaning crew did an outstanding job. The room was spacious with plenty of room for my husband, me and two rowdy boys. Breakfast was free, and there was something for everyone, from yogurt and fruit, to a variety of cereals, juices, breads and bagels, and bacon, eggs, and biscuits with gravy. We received a free newspaper every morning. I don't think you could find a better place to stay while in transit! Plus there are lots of restaurants nearby, as well as a Walmart for anything you may have forgotten. My family and I were very happy with our stay. Подробнее
