Хороший отель, но не советую пользоваться картой с сайта, так как она неправильно указывает направление. Когда мы позвонили в отель, то нам предоставили координаты, которые оказались верными.

Отель оказался скромным и вполне нормальным, и без вского сомнения, был удобным, если вам необходим аэропорт! Персонал был дружелюбным, завтрак был хорошим. НО, постарайтесь избежать номеров в передней части отеля, рядом с главным входом, если хотите спать с открытыми окнами. Нас несколько раз будили громко разговаривающие под нашим окном люди, и я […] так думаю, что это была ночная смена, вышедшая на перекур, которая совершенно не подозревала, что гости пытаются спать! Также, парковка оказалась очень неудобной, и мы практически не могли найти парковочное место, когда мы вернулись в отель в полночь, чему не могли никак способствовать 3 байка, занимающих места для машин. Несмотря на то, что в описании отеля сообщается, что он находится всего в 3 км от центра Кембриджа, это, может, и было бы правдой, но только если идти какими-то дворами и путями, которые не освещаются ночью. Когда мы пошли кратким путем от отеля до центра, мы нашли автобус, на котором доехали до города, но все водители, которых мы спрашивали, не знали, […] как нам доехать обратно, таким образом, нам пришлось пользоваться такси, которое брало от 8 до 10 фунтов за каждую поездку. (Очень советуем Cam Cab, водители которых были очень дружелюбными). Оглядываясь назад, было бы более выгодно остановиться в отеле или гоством домике, находящемся поближе к центру, чем платить за 4 поездки в день (к примеру, дважды туда и обратно). Отель Holiday Inn Express Cambridge оказался современный, чистым отелем с бесплатным шведским столом на завтрак и удобно и хорошо оборудованными номерами. Самой большой проблемой отеля - это не сам отель, а его расположение. Он находится в удалении от центра города и вдали от всех интересных мест, за исключением окружающего его бизнес парка и аэропорта. […] Если у вас есть машина, то расположение не станет большой проблемой, но если вы пешком, то вполне возможно. Примерно в 1,5 км по дороге к центру города, если вы на колесах, есть множество крупных рынков и несколько супермаркетов. Самое большое разочарование - это то, что здесь нет бесплатного wifi в номерах и ужасный прием мобильного сигнала. Служба приема была адекватной, я приехал практически ровно к 9 утра, что оказалось слишком поздно для завтрака в ресторане. Обслуживание номеров отсутствует в принципе, и, к несчастью, было предоставлен лишь минимальный набор освежающих напитков: ровно 2 пакетика чая, 2 пакетика кофе и 4 мини-упаковки молока без печенек. Если бы я это заранее знал, то остановился бы по дороге на заправочной станции и купил бы что-нибудь с собой. The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful, breakfast was good for the money. Only problem is the distance, we got a bus then still had to walk about 10-15mins to the hotel, it looks nearer on the map than it actually is. but all in all a nice hotel and would stay there again.

The space was well laid out to maximize the available space and was also convenient for people traveling together as the bathroom door doubled as a sort of stall so two people were able to use it at once. Standard hotel. Good facilities, quiet location. Wifi available in main reception area, but chargeable in the rooms. Bear in mind the location as it is a good 45 min walk into the centre of Cambridge - taxi cost nearly a tenner.

They were so helpful - in giving us a map of Cambridge, indicating on it the college we were visiting, where to catch the bus and how long it would take us to get there. On the day it was so useful.

Although the postcode says CB1... it's actually a bus ride out of the city centre. The bus stop was a 5-7 min walk, but it cost us (2 adults and 2 kids) £10 for the return journey. You know what you get with the Holiday Inn Express. That is the most comforting aspect of staying there. Sure its not fancy, but its got all the basics covered so you can relax. The Cambridge one also had free buffet breakfast which was nice. Wish wifi in the rooms was included in booking price, but that is a small point.

Stayed here on many occasions, hotel is very clean with comfortable rooms. The food options here are very limited and far from being the best, I skipped the breakfast each morning as nothing was available for my South Beach diet, also the bar is quite expensive. It was fine for what we wanted but had the feel of an impersonal airport but the staff were friendly and helpful. We got what we paid for. Took 30 mins to walk from the hotel to Parkers Piece in Cambridge.

Good, standard hotel for quick business trip stop-overs. Bar area very poor however so not great for a social visit. Room comfy and spacious and at a good rate. Breakfast limited but OK for on the move!

This is a standard characterless modern hotel on an industrial estate - fine if you have a car. There is nothing interesting in the surrounding area. My main gripe is that it was quite cold. The heating system is noisy. These are normal problems with many of these hotels.

My first impression was bad as I stood in reception a full 2/3 minutes whilst two members of staff chatted to each other! When we returned the the hotel later in the evening the electronic key would not work and I ahd to go to reception where it had to be changed. No word of apology! The hotel is out of town a bit so a good restaurant is a must. We arrived on a Sunday and had hoped to get a meal at the Hotel but nothitg was available. We did have a meal on Monday night at the hotel that left a lot to be said. The food was very basic with little choice. Breakfast too was very basic. It seems that the breakfast was made as mechanical […] as possible with little use for a chef or that the chef had little imagination. There were no prunes or fruit salad (cut up) there was fruit but whole. Milk, tea and coffee out of a machine. The Tropical juice was so watered down it was undrinkable, orange juice was better again in a machine. We stayed all over England, Scotland and Irelad this hotel seeing it was at the end of our stay we splashed out it was the dearest of all the places we stayed at. We got better accommodation at the places that cost less. We expected a much better room it too was only basic. Would not recommed this hotel at all, a bed and breakfast would have been better money spent. The staff was very friendly. I stayed 2 nights. They even warmed a dish that I brought from home for me. The room was very clean and we enjoyed Cambridge. The location was fantastic!

Good value for money but isolated. In practice need car to get into Cambridge centre. We found no restaurants near by other than hotel. Some noise from trains at rear but not too much.

There are hotels that are quite dirty, but this one get the Gold Medal !! The Manager tried to apologize by saying that they just had a bunch of construction workers staying there, but you could see clearly that the stains were not from last week. Also the were stains on the sheets and the pillows had a sweat smell !!! There were hairs in the place […] where you put the soap.
