Sofitel Munich Bayerpost - Мюнхен

Гостиница довольно модная, всякие дизайнерские навороты, досадно, что номер (хоть и сьют) оказался мрачноватым и окнами на ж/д пути. Завтрак отличный, но за отдельную плату (29 евро/чел). Окрестности - типичный привокзальный "расколбас" - транзитники с чемоданами, мусор, бомжи. Гостиница выглядела белым пятном :)

Невдавно я остановился здесь на 3 дня. Отель был прекрасным и располагается рядом с ж/д станцией. Комната была чистой. Однако сервис был очень плохим: 1. одна из моих сумок была потеряна - ее не доставили в номер (мне пришлось идти искать ее, нашел в камере хранения), 2. плохое, некачественное обслуживание консьержа и невнимательность к клиентам (сложности […] в бронировании столика и заказе такси, рекомендованные оба вечера рестораны оказались плохого качества). В дополнение, у душевой кабинки в номере не было ни занавески, ни двери (вода разбрызгивалась по всему полу, и можно было с легкостью подскользнуться). Не то, что я ожидал. Очень хороший отель. Мы были очень довольны помощью и поддержкой, полученными персоналом отеля во всех его областях. Отличный маленький бар в отеле. Комната была хорошей, но немного тесноватой. Но это Европа. Очень хорошее расположение, однако, возможно, лучше избегать некоторых улиц к югу от отеля. Они немного опасные. Все было хорошо, за исключением уборки номеров. Убираются только обычные предметы комнаты, никогда не меняются использованные такрелки и вазы. На стойке приемной есть как приятные служащие, так и "работающие спустя рукава".

Бронируя через hotels.com, мы получили хорошую цену за полулюкс, который оказался красивым и современно декорированным и оборудованным, а еще был оень удобным. У отеля очень удобное расположение: отель находится прямо возле ж/д станции и метро, что обеспечивает удобное транспортное передвижение, плюс он оказался вблизи начала обеих экскурсий, на которые […] мы пошли, места встречи которых находились на или рядом с ж/д вокзалом. Отель находится в 10 минутах ходьбы от главной торговой улицы. С нами случилась только одна неприятность с заказом завтрака в номер, когда мы вывесили накануне вечером нашу карточку заказа, но так и не получили свой завтрак на утро, несмотря на то, что карту забрали. Мы с мужем останавливались в отеле Sofitel пару ле назад, во время нашего медового месяца, и я всега хотела вернуться назад, потому что мне безумно понравились бассейн/сауна/парилка. Другими потрясающими деталями являются роскошные кровати, кофеварка Nespresso в номере, туалетные принадлежности марки Hermes, тапочки (которые можно взять с собой!) и […] плисовые банные халаты. Декор очень современный и стильный. Единственным негативом является то, что было сложно разобраться как влючючитьЯвыключить свет в комнате. Завтрак не был включен в счет, и мы его не пробовали, так как он был довольно дорогим, хотя это в общем вполне типично для 5-звездочных отелей в Европе. Мы смогли обойтись и без него, учитывая, что совсем рядом с отелем имеется множество отличных кафе/булочных. Отель находится прямо через дорогу от центральной ж/д станции Hauptbahnhof и от него невероятно удобно добираться до аэропорта. Я очень рекомендую всем этот отель! Подробнее

Это были одни из самых лучших городских каникул, что я когда-либо имел, а отель Sofintel был большой частью этого. Отель был элегантным и спокойным, с атмосферой эффективности и цели. Персонал был ИСКЛЮЧИТЕЛЬНЫЙ. Безумно дружелюбный и с радостью говорящий для нашего удобства по-английски. Комнаты были очень современными, с эспрессо машинами, с колонками […] Bose iPod, ливневым душем и т.д. Отличный отель, хорошее расположнение рядом с ж/д станцией, примерно в 10 минутах ходьбы от центра города. Действительно удобный отель.

very nice room and so convenient by the central train station

Location is excellent and just 2 minutes walk to the Central Station.The room is too dark even i switched on all lights. The receiption service is quick and prolite. It was not easy to connect the free Wi-fi service, normally I tried few times to connect it.

Beautiful hotel but shocking price for breakfast. No turndown service which is unusual for 5 star. Food quality was excellent.

The hotel is only steps away from the train station but also within walking distance site-seeing, food, and shopping. The breakfast is the best, although spendy.

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel in the central area of Munich. It was easy to find, had a lovely staff and the rooms were very nice. Definitely had a "business vibe" however we felt right at home as well on our vacation. The bar was nice and rooms were modern and well kept. Overall a great experience at this hotel.

Alle expectations fulfilled in our three days stay in February 2012; Staff, rooms, bar, spa,swimming pool, breakfast, design of the building and the placing close to the train station. All just perfect.

Awesome hotel, great location, will book again next time I am in Munich

Fantastic hotel, the quality and service was second to none. The rooms were amazing with quality finishes. The only criticism I have is the surrounding areas are a little rough, although that does not take anything away from this stunning hotel.

The Sofitel in Munich was a lovely retreat for for my daughter and I visiting from Australia for two days over Christmas. Although on the doorstep of the central railway station there was no distractions and we had a very relaxing stay in this modern and very well appointed hotel. What a beautiful hotel. Walking distance from train station. Walking distance to Oktoberfest and old town. Staff was very personable and helpful. We had requested a non-smoking room. When we returned one evening after a long day of sightseeing, our bedding had been turned down but the staff had left an old rag and a pack of cigarettes on the chair. […] We complained to the front desk and they had housekeeping respond immediately and were very apologetic. They gave us coupons for a free glass of champagne in the bar for each of us. The on-site restaurant was very good with a wide selection of foods to choose from. The concierge service was excellent. He was able to get us tickets for a table inside one of the venues at Oktoberfest. We had a blast. He also made recommendations for sightseeing around Munich which we took advantage of. Overall we had a great time at this hotel (although it was expensive) and would highly recommend it to others. Подробнее

This hotel tries very hard to be 5 star. In some ways it is as the staff are very helpful. But it's a bit like someone has designed the hotel with experiencing it themselves. Some things we found a bit annoying were: There was only 1 English TV channel. Whilst this makes us sound a bit ignorant, there were moments on our trip when we wanted down-time, […] and the only channel we could understand was BBC News. Also the films were very expensive at €10 each. We found the lights in the hotel room a bit irritating as they were quite dim which meant trying to see your reflection in the mirror to get ready was hard. Also they have this thing where if you want the lights in the room on, you have to insert you room card key which again was annoying as we had to take the card out to go to bed so all the lights went off, but if you got up in the night for the loo you were in a bit of trouble as you couldn't see anything! Also the lights in the foyer were very dim as well which was a bit straining on the eyes. In the foyer there is also a very very strong smell - it's a nice popouri smell, but just far too overwhelming. In the spa, we were really disappointed that there was not whirlpool/jacuzzi apart from a small section of the main swimming pool. Also the water in the pool was only luke warm and we had been looking forward to a nice hot relaxing spa. In the spa, there is a relaxation area, but the seats are really not that comfortable. Normally at 5 star hotels, you have a kind of bed that you can lie on and drft away, but these chairs were bolt up right, so not very easy to relax on. Our room had a great view over the main station, but there wasn't a bath in our room - shower only, so this was a bit disappointing. Also breakfast wasn't included in our room rate. If we had wanted it, it would have been an extra €30 per person which which seems very expensive. Also any in-room service such as the mini bar was very expensive too. Подробнее

very clean, modern hotel. it's right by the main train station and is walking distance to everywhere. the room was very nice. the bathroom is seperated by frosted glass from the bedroom. all walls and doors of the bathroom are frosted glass. it was very nice but if you want some privacy it may bother you a little.

The only problem was the Internet access. The hotel has both free and paid plans but in many rooms the singnal strength is very low making it unreliable. The paid gives you more bandwidth capacity but does not fix the dropping. And after every drop you have to re-enter a form full of info, like ZIP and birthdate. This was a beautiful hotel and I enjoyed myself here. I did not get a chance to experience their spa as it was closed while I was staying. The hotel was super convient to the train staion whice was nice. The only complaint I had was teh internet. Although I appreciated the free internet it was to slow to even stream a video. After a day's train travel it was so easy to find our hotel - just a step away from the train station. The hotel room was very comfortable and quiet which was just what we wanted! We stayed 6 days at this Hotel and found everything to be Perfect! The Hotel is located directly next store to the train station so you can get to about anywhere in the city without trouble and is only a few minutes walk to the old city and town attractions. The hotel is also first class, the staff and rooms were extremely nice with all the amenities […] and there is a great breakfast buffet in the morning. We traveled by train and the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is right next to the train station and an easy walk with luggage. The hotel is beautiful and very modern and a pleasure to visit. It is SO annoying to be nickel and dimed at 5-star hotels that don't provide the same basic free internet service one can enjoy at a local coffee shop!

Beautifully modern hotel with great spa pool and saunas. Rooms have heated bath floor with TV that turns so you can watch in bed or the tub. Comfortable beds with room amenities that are so updated that we could not figure out how to turn on the coffee pot. Only complaints were ridiculously expensive internet that wasn't even wireless.
