Я останавливался в этом отеле несколько раз, как по делам, так и на отдыхе. Отель в хорошем состоянии и предлагает качественноу обслуживание в большинстве мест. Красивое место, но очень дорогое. 17 долларов за самостоятельную парковку, вот что я не мог понять, потому что вокруг не было никаких других мест, конкурирующих за парковку. Почему бы было не включить стоимость парковки в стоимость номера или, что еще лучше, вообще не брать деньги за парковку.

Я привез трех своих внуков 7-9-11 лет в отель "Gaylord" и мы провели два дня в их аквапарке. Прекрасный отдых во всех отношениях. Внуки повторяли, что хотели бы приехать сюда еще. Отель прекрасный, сотрудники самые гостеприимные, выбор блюд в ресторане отличный, а еда и обслуживание превосходные. Новый курортного стиля плавательный бассейн в отеле "Gaylord" гораздо лучше, чем из старый бассейн, но до него надо ехать на трансфере, что помешает вам заходить в свой номер, когда вздумается. Мы были в августе 2011 г., и в новом бассейне было ОЧЕНЬ тесно - было тудно найти шезлонги, на медленной реке ватрушка на ватрушке, и в огромной бассейне кругом […] были люди. Я имею в виду, что было сумасшедше тесно. Обслуживание также было не таким уж хорошим. После заселения я попросила раскладушку. Несколько часов спустя, я опять позвонила попросить, и меня повесили на дозвон, затем дозвонилась до живого человека. Час спустя я опять перезвонила, опять повисела на дозвоне, в этот раз несколько минут, поэтому я повесила трубку. В конце-концов, в 10 вечера я пошла на стойку регистрации и спросила, где наша раскладушка, и мне ее принесли. На следующий день мой муж позвонил, чтобы попросить выписаться попозже, но никто не брал трубку. Он висел на дозвоне 5 или 10 минут, и ему сказали, что можно выписаться на 30 минут позже - спасибо... Отель предназначен для семей с детьми, но единственный семейный ресторан всегда переполнен. За завтраком мы ждали примерно 20-30 минут, чтобы сесть. Пребывание было хорошим, кроме того, что мой муж зацепился браслетом бассейна за бирку от багажа, и он слетел. Когда мы пришли на стойку регистрации и попросили его заменить, нам сказали, что его нельзя заменить, пока мы не принесем сорванный для замены. Когда он упал с запястья, то мы этого не заметили, а когда пришли его искать, то не смогли найти. […] Сначала мы очень расстроились, что он не сможет ходить с нами купаться, но потом решились и попросили еще кого-то у бассейна, и они оказались гораздо лучше тех людей на регистрации. Мы с моей женой останавливались здесь на 2 ночи на второй неделе июля, когда в отеле была акция по специальным ценам. Отель рекламируется как отличное место для семей из-за крытого и открытого бассейнов и аквапарка. Во-первых, открытый бассейн маленький, и мы пробыли там только 30 минут из-за ошеломляющего количества детей, играющих в бассейне после […] 10 часов вечера. (бассейн закрывается в полночь). Крытый бассейн похож на крытый бассейн (влажность). Аквапарк находится напротив отеля (трансфер возможен, парковка очень ограниченная), что было плохо. Оказавшись в аквапарке, вы могли заметить среднего размера медленную реку, одну среднего размера горку для детей, маленькую наклонную тарзанку, с которой надо нырять в бассейн, и небольшой бассейн с волнами. Еда и напитки в аквапарке за дополнительную плату. Хорошая новость: полотенца выдают!! Общее впечатление от аквапарка: приятно, если вы хотите полежать и случайно промокнуть... не идеально, если у вас есть дети, потому что там недостаточно аттракционов. Внутри аквапарка очень мило, красивый декор, маленькая прогулочная зона у реки и 4 ресторана. НЕ ПЛАНИРУЙТЕ есть в ресторанах. В спортбаре ("Texan Station") нормальные цены, учитывая то, что вы на курорте, но в других заведениях просто завышенные цены. Завтрак шведский стол по 18 долларов США ... никогда в своей жизни я не буду столько платить за завтрак! Стейки в ресторане от 32 до 64 долларов. Да...64 долларовый стейк. Гарнир подается отдельно и начинается от 10 долларов...так что можете видеть, что хороший романтический ужин обойдется вам очень дорого. В итальянском заведении ограниченный выбор блюд и не все они благоприятны тем, кому не нравятся изысканные вкусы и комбинации запахов. Бутылка воды 3,25 долларов, чашка горячего чая столько же. Есть несколько сувенирных магазинов. но многие из них высокого полета, и удовлетворят только взрослых. Номера хорошие. Я был разочарован насадкой для душа (это же курорт) и подушками... Подробнее

Чудесный отдых. Отель исключительно чистый, и номера комфортабельные. Очень дружелюбный песонал. Отличная атмосфера. Превосходная еда. Готовы остановиться здесь еще раз.

My fiancée and I just got a one night stay to celebrate our anniversary. The set up of everything is really neat and beautiful. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all of it. I don't know how to post a review without sounding like an advertisement for this resort. Everything here was amazing. My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding before flying out the next morning. I have never been treated better in my life. We were given a free room upgrade upon the hotel finding out we just got married. Later in the evening […] we went to a very nice bar in an italian restaurant and they comped our bill. Room service was great as well. I ordered the crab encrusted halibut and she ordered the New York strip steak. We rolled the cart onto our balcony and enjoyed the food while overlooking the river walk. The food was excellent. The only regret that I have is that we didn't stay longer. The general theme of the hotel is mixed up with no particular style or theme. The staff give the impression they could do without having guests and the vast majority of the cleaning staff around at night dont speak two words of English giving the impression of the Hotel hiring the lowest paid and lowest experienced workers possible. Didn't like the resort fee and self parking fees that were added once we arrived.

I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across the world. The service, food and facilities is second to none. The folks at the Gaylord Texan know how to take care of thier guest.

Although the Gaylord Hotel markets itself for big conventions, the restaurants are not prepared for the crowds. The deli sandwich shop was out of sandwiches and pizzas and the hotel manager said that always happens when there is a convention. There is a convention/conference every weekend. This was our 13yr.anniversary and the resort was perfect fit for us everthing under one roof was great. Excellent service wonderful resturants. We had a blast!!! Look forward to going back.

Nice hotel, resort pricing- 20% above the room fee for services and parking unless you valet-then more. Resort food prices. No money spent on sound insulation in our room. We could hear the neighboring room and the room upstairs and at 7am when the upstairs tentant used water it was hard to imagine there was a floor between us. The fan would not stay […] on in manual mode to help screen the noise and the area outside our door was terra-cotta-type tile that reflected suitcase/service cart and voice noise into our room. The hotel was beautiful with its grand entrance way and landscaping of pink geraniums, waterfalls, fountains, and greenery everywhere. There were lots of places to rest and just enjoy the atrium. In general, it is a good hotel for business conference. The room is clean and comfortable. The severvice is above the average. But be aware that it even charges the over night self parking for USD $18 a day and USD $15 resort fee.

I've stayed here many times and always enjoyed it. I love walking around the atrium with the gorgeous Texas star glass ceiling. During the holidays it is beautifully decorated. I would like to see them renovate their rooms. They are starting to feel a bit worn. The restaurants are hit and miss. I had some great dinners at the steakhouse, but they better […] be at those prices. The sports bar is always fun with the walls of giant TV's and the lounge chairs. Drinks are not cheap, and food there is OK. The service has always been top notch everywhere in the resort. I enjoyed the spa, but it's expensive. Starting to see a theme here.... They have a decent work out facility with plenty of machines and free weights. The pool is small, nothing special but I heard they were going to remodel it. The Glass Cactus nightclub is fun, live music, big dance floor. The food was mixed, good lobster quesadilla was good but the sushi roll was terrible. The Hotel is beautiful. Unlike anything short of a Vegas mega-hotel. The restaurant service was very poor. 25 minute table wait for a restaurant that was only half full of customers. 10 minutes to get drink order taken after being seated. We received one wrong meal meal, but ate it anyway after waiting 30 minutes to be served. the meal apparently it […] belonged to someone else. When the waiter/manager figured it out with the other table, much finger pointing at our table. Very uncomfortable. The room was nice, but a long walk from the front desk, self parking was expensive and far, the toilet didn't work, and our neighbors kept us up the first night. Overall it wasn't a good expierience for the cost, I would've enjoyed staying at a compfort Inn instead...

The court yard area of this hotel is unbelievable. Plants of every kind in full bloom and sparkling clean. The staff is very nice. Don't be mislead, however, by the per night rate. You will receive an additional charge for a resort fee which allows you to have high speed internet (really?) and to use their pool (really!) and to receive a newspaper. […] They will return your change if you do not want your paper. (Thanks) We were there on a Sunday, and received no paper at all. Perhaps it is more than the few cents they would return to you. There is a hefty daily valet parking charge. This was a bargain, though. We had two cars and only valet parked one of them. It was more expensive to use the paid parking garage if you went out and in more than once. Подробнее

Be sure to know about all fees when booking this hotel. Our price we paid on the hotel did not include other add-ons (ie: resort fees and parking fees). Quite a bit of money when thinking you paid so much to stay to begin with.

Enjoyed our stay -was very happy that although we had not made an appointment previous to our trip - we were able to get a manicure. The shuttle to the Glass Catus is a very nice.

The stay was very nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated this time of year. Was very dissapointed though on the morning we checked out. We had over $70 in additional fees. As we stayed two nights there were two resort fees and two days of parking fees. Thought these fees should be included in the price of the room. If you go to Ice and eat there the […] parking is validated, we did both but were still charged. When we checked in they wanted a $100 deposit and said that will be a hold but would come off, they didn't say that there would be any additional charges that would be applied. This certainly ruined our stay, we won't be going back. It's more of the fact that at check in we were not told about these fees probably on purpose as there is nothing you can do about it after the fact. Подробнее

We stayed overnight for the holidays and the Christmas spirit was a delight. Decorations and lights are impressive. But the hotel was a little disappointing. Instead of fitted sheets, top sheets were used so my husband was constantly tucking in the sheets. And the mattress and beddings are not comfortable at all. My kids even said this is not a fancy […] hotel because I told them it was for the price I paid. No microwave noted when having kids with us, is a necessity to warm up foods if they go hungry bec they cannot eat much with all the excitement and when back to the hotel, they will look for food. Family oriented. They probably needed more staff on Christmas selling tickets for special events. Responded quickly to request for foam pillows. Only complaint is that the buffet breakfast was OK, not very good. And the Texan Restaurant didn't have salsa on request.

We had a great time. Wonderful Christmas decorations and lots of fun activities to choose from. The service was great, couldn't have asked for better. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, too firm for me but, that's the only thing I would recommend them upgrading. Also the Christmas Brunch is just fabulous.

The entire hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, inside and out. Will definately spend time there again, especially close to Christmas.

Although it was extremely busy due to the holidays check in was a breeze. The line was long but the wait was less than 5 minutes. The hotel looked great and the food and drinks were very good. It is a must do during the holidays but be prepared for all the people.

Despite all the things to do there, I don't find any advantages to paying so much for a room. There are no perks to the hotel guests over the visitors. I couldn't even get in to a restaurant to eat there. I had to leave. I tried to eat an overpriced breakfast buffet but the wait was tremendous. Ice show was shorter than a couple years ago.
