За: расположение отеля очень хорошее, короткая прогулка до моря длиной в полквартала. На главной улице за отелем большой выбор ресторанов, где подают паэлью или тапас. Кровати и подушки были высочайшего качества. Завтрак выше среднего. Против: мы ехали на арендованной машине, ориентируясь по навигатору. Сторона отеля, выходящая на улицу, выглядит заброшенной. […] Большие окна на первом этаже закрашены, а двери скованы цепями, хотя на двери имеется табличка с названием отеля. Сначала мы были обеспокоены тем, что отель закрылся насовсем с того времени, как мы забронировали номер. Нет ни знака, ни указателя о том, что главный вход в отель находится во внутреннем дворе с другой стороны отеля. В нашем первом номере пахло дымом. Я вернулся на стойку регистрации попросить переселить нас в другой номер, агент расстроилась из-за меня, настаивая, что она не ошиблась, и что наш номер на самом деле находится на этаже для некурящих. Она заявила, что все номера проданы, и что у меня нужный мне номер. Я объяснил, что я все понимаю, но, видимо, кто-то нарушил правила. Тогда она успокоилась и поменяла нам номер. Остальные попытки взаимодействия с сотрудниками отеля были сходными, теплыми, но не такими уж дружелюбными. Стены номера тонкие, как бумага, и легко было услышать разговоры в соседнем номере. Рекомендуемая крытая парковка находилась в 4-5 кварталах хорошей ходьбы, частично в гору, не все путешественники могли бы совершить такую прогулку. Подробнее

Нам понравилась ночь, преведенная в этом отеле, и мы обязательно приедем еще. Отель находится в старом городе, недалеко от ресторанов и баров, и от моря. Рядом с остановкой автобуса, чтобы уехать или приехать из аэропорта.. Наш номер был чистым и хорошо оборудованным. Сотрудники отеля дружелюбные и услужливые.

Красивый отель в превосходном месте, с гаванью, барами и ресторанами в паре минут ходьбы. Отель находится на прекрасной площади с очень старым и историческим зданием ратуши. На площади также есть несколько баров. Отель сам по себе прекрасный, с очень дружелюбным персоналом. Номера просторные и очень чистые и в хорошем состоянии. На первом этаже есть […] интернет по хорошей цене, евро за 12 минут или 2 евро за 30 минут. Отель предлагает шведский стол на завтрак по цене 10 евро с человека, и мы завтракали там каждый день. Очень хорошее расположение в очень хорошо управляемом городе. Рядом с морем, ресторанами и магазинами. В отеле отличный выбор подушек. Персонал очень услужливый и дружелюбный.

Я бронировал двухместный номер, но когда я приехал, сотрудница на стойке регистрации дала мне одноместный, потому что двухместных уже не осталось. Она предложила, что меня переселят в другой номер на следующее утро, но это так и не произошло. В конце-концов, на следующий день мне дали номер побольше. Мы прилетели в аэропорт Аликанте и сели на автобус С-6 (2,6 евро в одну сторону) до отеля. Отель расположен рядом с последней остановкой автобуса. Выйдя из автобуса, надо пройти прямо примерно 46 метров, повернуть направо, и идти по дороге пока не выйдете на площадь, в левом углу которой расположен отель. После прибытия все было хорошо. В отеле работает […] многоязычный персонал. Сотрудник, который нас регистрировал, говорил по-испански, по-английски, по-немецки, по-французски и по-голландски, поэтому с языком у них проблем нет. Нас быстро заселили, и мы пошли в наш номер (207) с отличным видом на площадь внизу. Номера были очень хорошими, со всеми ожидаемыми от 4-х звездочного отеля удобствами (спутниковое телевидение, кондицонер, сейф и т.п.). Номер был чистым, а кровати хорошими, хотя и твердыми. Одной проблемой за время нашего пребывания стал, как упоминалось в предыдущих отзывах, шум. Мы не столько страдали от шума с площади внизу, сколько от шума из соседнего номера. В нашем номере была очень тонкая дверь между нашим и соседним номером, поэтому мы могли слышать буквально все, что там происходило (звук телевизора, разговоры, кашель, телефонные звонки). Нам повезло, потому что наши соседи все выключали примерно в полночь, поэтому все было хорошо, но я вижу, что это могло стать настоящей проблемой, если бы люди не ложились спать до раннего утра. Этот очаровательный отель очень удобно расположен в центре старого города рядом со стоянкой такси и остановкой автобуса в аэропорт. Номера в передней части отеля имели прекрасный вид на площадь "Plaza Ayuntamiento". Это двойственное счастье, если вы чутко спите, как из-за случайных полуночных гуляк, так и из-за того, что муниципальные службы начинают […] убирать площадь в 6-30 утра! Тем не менее, номер чистый и комфортабельный, и кондиционер / обогреватель кажется работает очень эффективно. Телевизор с плоским экраном работал хорошо, имелся хороший выбор каналов (European networks/BBCnews/CNN). Шведский стол на завтрак предлагал хороший выбор на континентальном фронте, включая вкусную выпечку, хотя горячие блюда (обычные бекон / омлет / сосиски) были чуть менее привлекательными. Я предполагаю, что отель получил 4 звезды из-за наличия фитнесс центра и сауны (которыми мы не пользовались), т.к. в отеле нет других общественных помещений, кроме кафе / бара, куда можно пройти через дверь рядом со стойкой регистрации. Although I only stayed 1 night on a Business trip I am a frequent leisure traveller with my wife so I tend to pay close attention to whats on offer wherever I stay ! The Mediterranea Plaza was a decent hotel in a great location for exploring the town of Alicante ! It's situated in a lovely little square with a unique water feature across from it and […] is a short walk from Alicantes Rambla and is surrounded by many little pedestrian walkways with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from ! Alicante is surprisingly similar to a smaller version of Barcelona in parts ! The hotel was good, beds basic but suitable, good bathroom with a good shower. Lovely and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast is only a continental style buffet but was decent with a lot of choice. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was one of best hotel experiences ever. The staff at front desk were very polite and helpful. If in Alicante again I would stay here before looking else where. The location is very good. All though I had a room looking out the back of the hotel I was very happy with it.

We booked a four night stay at the Eurostars Mediterrane Plaza whilst we had a short city break in Alicante to get some winter sun. First of all Alicante is extremely easy to get to from the airport you just take the C6 bus from outside departures at airport and it costs 2.70 euros and takes no longer than 30 minutes. For the hotel we asked for the […] Puerto del Mar stop (marina) and the Eurostars Mediterranea Plaza is just across the road opposite the town hall. Check-in was fine and the staff very friendly. I had emailed the hotel before arrival requesting a non-smoking room and had found them helpful. We were allocated room 401 which was small but clean, it faced on to a side street so had no view but a small balcony. The bed was comfy and the room had a big bathroom with bath with a shower over. We had a mini bar which had enough room in pop in our own drinks and we could get English news channels on the TV like Sky News. We had a safe in the room and we just needed to ask at reception for the key and pay a 20 euro deposit which was refunded on departure. This hotel to me is all about location as its a few minutes to the beach and the harbour and then literally less than a minute to the old town with all its bars and restaurants. I would agree that the hotel is not a four star but we found it to be clean and comfortable. We didn’t hear much noise from other rooms although like others have commented we did hear some noise especially on the Saturday night from outside. In terms of Alicante we really loved the city, we enjoyed the fact that it had a feel of a traditional Spanish town / city but there was a beach and harbour to enjoy as well. We had a wonderful city break in Alicante and would definitely go back. I would happily go back to the Mediterrane Plaza hotel as it’s clean and comfortable, in a brilliant location. Perfect location - 30 seconds to the old town and 2 minutes to the harbour / beach. Nice breakfast (a little expencive). Perfect hotel to see the end of the parade. Right in middle of old town with excellent tapas bar La Taberna around corner and so near castle. (free to visit with lift ride included!). Well situated right on the town square across from the town hall in the middle of the scenic old town. Very pleased with location near to all sites and views of the castle from town square. Just a couple of minutes from the sea front and marina. Breakfast was adequate and if you like continental style you would always find plenty to eat. Our room was at the rear of the hotel facing into a narrow street. The door opened onto a narrow balcony but no furniture, not that you would want to sit outside as it was in the shade and only view was by looking sideways to the sea. The door fitted poorly and wasn't sound proof. You could hear the noises of traffic, night-time revellers and early morning street cleaners which was a nuisance at first, but we got used to it and not all the time. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. Overall for the price paid and its location, I would recommend this hotel. I had no expectations of Alicante itself, but was pleasantly surprised by the city and would recommend for a short city break - the local tram is very good value running up and beyond Benidorm allowing you to go out for the day for very little cost. We really liked the location in the heart of the old town, hotel was quite noisy and the beds are hard. Staff friendly and warm, more then helpfull. Would recommend for a short stay.

The hotel was excellently situated with a wonderful sun terrace with a good view of the castle. The staff were extremely helpful and printed out bus timetables for us for our onward journey. The rooms were very nicely decorated. We'd definitely recommend. Very good value.

Very nice hotel, with excellent location. Easy access to the beach, Santa Barabara castle, la Rambla, nice restaurants nearly, and shopping centers or nightlife activities. The only problem was that there was a church nearby hotel that used to ring some kind of melody every 15 minutes until midnight which made it difficiult to sleep earlier or concentrate […] on own stuffs! Also, loud noises from nearby (such as drunk people talking loud) could be heard and could wake me up sometimes at 2-3 AM. We stayed here to visit my daughter who lives in Spain and found it suited our needs perfectly. The location is spot on, close to the harbour and the promenade but far enough away to be quiet and almost traffic free. Stafff were very helpful and the rooms a good size. Breakfast was adequate and plenty of it. All in all a good stay. The only negative […] was there was a party of drunken Germans and Norwegians who made a lot o noise at night on two occasions, but that it is not the fault of the hotel except they didnt have the staff to handle it. The Eurostars Mediterranea Plaza in Alicante is in an ideal location. Situated in the town hall square very near to the old district yet near to beach and marina. Ask for rooms overlooking the plaza. The views are stunning looking out at the castle. I would imagine there might be some noise in the evenings as it's a square but at the time of year we […] went (November) it was minimal and we were able to close the window. Hotel is very comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast in the hotel was buffet style, very enjoyable, and certainly worth the 10 € per day we paid. A great hotel in an amazing location. We had not expected it to be this good after previous experiences elsewhere in Spain. The staff were so helpful, the views were spectacular and being only a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and attractions in and around the Old City made our stay a wonderful holiday.

Chosen purely for it's great central location by the port and beach and free room wifi for my iPhone. It's within a nice looking area next to official civic buildings and outdoor cafes. Comfortable but far from great rooms. Good location, but basic hotel, could do with being modernised! Lots of noise if your staying weekends, people coming out of clubs etc.. Ok if your staying for a short while as its location is good.

To get into the hotel you have to negotiate a building site the Town Hall Square is completly dug up with builders working from 7 in the morning till 7 at night with all the noise and dust that a major refurb kicks up. When its done I will return but honestly feel this hotel should be discounted to a low price while this major work is carried out. The staff allowed me to check in early, as I arrived early but had an appointment out of town later in the morning, and did not expect to return until later in the evening. Rather than carry my luggage with me, I left it in the very well maintained room.

Estamos muy contentos de haber descubierto un hotel como el suyo, con un emplazamiento perfecto,ya que nosotros siempre buscamos el centro de la ciudad,y con la fortuna de una buena impresión como pueden ver en la encuesta,ahora les explico la limitación que hemos encontrado,sin tener mas referencia que la habitación que ocupamos,eramos dos personas […] y una de ellas de avanzada edad,con lo que esto supone en problemas de movilidad,encontramos un cuarto de baño perfecto,pero poco apropiado para personas mayores,viendo que para salir de la bañera corren cierto riesgo de accidentarse,como ustedes dan servicio a fumadores y no,les sugiero que pongan habitaciones tambien para personas mayores,que en vez de bañera tangan un plato de ducha,ya en muchas casas con ancianos se esta adaptando los cuartos de baño para evitar accidentes en lo posible,ya les digo que es una opinión solamente teniendo la referencia de la bonita habitación que ocupamos,pero si todas son así,darían un buen servicio cambiando alguna de ellas y adaptándolas para tantos viajeros ancianos,y siempre podían ser ocupadas logicamente por gente mas joven.Muy agradecidos por el trato y servicio recibidos,esperamos que sea hasta pronto,un saludo.
