Fenix Hotel - Рим

Расположение отеля единственная проблема для иностранцев, первый раз приехавших в Рим, но все равно хороший выбор для краткого семейного отдыха. Персонал очень добрый и дружелюбный. Нам понравилось наш отдых здесь этим жарким летом.

Останавливались здесь на 5 ночей во время недавней поездки в Италию и отлично провели время! Номера очень хорошего размера, очень чистый, сотрудники услужливые, а завтрак УДИВИТЕЛЬНЫЙ. Расположение не самое лучшее. 30 минут ходьбы до основных достопримечательностей. Рядом остановка автобуса и почти рядом со станцией метро, поэтому было несложно доехать […] туда, куда вам было надо. Очень хороший отель с чистыми номерами большого размера и красивым садом. Я был разочарован тем, что на балконе не было мебели, но кроме этого больше жаловаться не на что. Сотрудники стойки регистрации порекомендовали сходить в чудесный местный ресторан на ужин - оказалось так здорово, что мы ели в нем каждый вечер.

Отличный отель и фантастическое обслуживание в целом. Сотрудники очень любезные и готовые помочь. Завтрак тоже очень сытный. Всего несколько небольших проблем: интернет был ужасно медленным, но бесплатным. Спасибо! Также отель расположен далеко от станции метро. Мы с женой прилетели в Рим из Цюриха, поэтому переезд из отеля "Рэдиссон Блю" в "Феникс" нас разочаровал. Номер был маленький, а мы люди не очень большие. "Сейф" представлял из себя деревянный ящик с "древним" ключом, который можно было закрытым унести с собой. Мы не стали класть ценное в сейф, потому что его можно было открыть одним рывком. Я купил […] борсетку, положил туда все ценности и носил везде с собой. Еда в ресторане была вкусной и приличной по цене, но персонал был не очень дружелюбным (характерно для дешевых и средних по цене ресторанов в Риме, куда мы заходили). В ресторане отеля мы ели 1 раз, и по воскресеньям он закрыт. Мне не понравилось то, что приходится оставлять ключ от номера на стойке регистрации, если надо, чтобы в номере сделали уборку. Немного странно. Также мы вешали табличку "не беспокоить" на дверь два дня, и на второй день они все равно пришли и провели уборку. Мне это не понравилось. Не останавливайтесь в № 43, потому что в соседнем номере живет женщина с собакой, которая лает по ночам (а женщина кричит на собаку) или когда мы проходим мимо двери. Не понимаю, почему пускают с собаками в отель. На номере с собакой была табличка "служебное помещение". ТВ был плохим, канал CNN было невозможно смотреть, но мы не стали звонить на стойку регистрации, потому что в любом случае приехали не телевизор смотреть. За все это время не чувствовали себя в безопасности, потому что в номере нет лишней защелки или замка для дополнительной защиты. НЕ ЗВОНИТЕ из номера, если у вас есть телефонная карта. С меня взяли кучу денег за то, что я воспользовался телефоном в номере, чтобы позвонить домой, а я звонил по телефонной карте! Я не мог этого понять. Когда мы выселялись, сотрудник на стойке регистрации показал мне счет за 2 телефонных звонка, я объяснил, что звонил по карте, но было слишком рано, и парень говорил по-английски также хорошо, как я по-итальянски, поэтому я оплатил счет. В целом, пребывание не в центре Рима было преимуществом, потому что мы избегали толп туристов. Пользовались или станцией метро "Bologna" (1 км) или садились на автобус около отеля. Отель очень комфортабельный и очень хорошо управляется, завтрак тоже хороший. Персонал был дружелюбный и готовый помочь. Имеется очень удобный поезд до аэропорта "Фюмичино" […] от станции "Тибуртино" в двух километрах от отеля (или быстрая поездка на такси). Превосходный отдых. Подробнее

Отель находится немного в стороне от проторенных путей, но близко к общественному транспорту. Номер чистый, и, хотя в одноместном номере не было полутораспальной кровати, тем не менее кровать была комфортной. It was a great Hotel for a great price. The wireless Internet in my Room was sporadic though (they were going to have someone check on it but it was the weekend and Monday was a holiday). I am sensitive to noise and if you are make sure you stay in a Room that only opens on the Garden (like 36), as there are a lot of Motorcycles roaring by even at night […] (I used great heroes earplugs (Walmart) whick took care of the problem). Stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and recommend it. Pros: relatively cheap and good quality; relatively close to the city center (direct bus or 7-minute walk to metro); not noisy and green area; OK rooms; good breakfasts. Cons: slow wireless network.

I'm really glad I went with this hotel. It is not in the very center of Rome and it is not five star, but it is only a short bus trip into town (or a cheap 10 euro taxi fare) and the hotel was very friendly clean and great fun. Perfect for anyone looking for something nice who doesn't want to go over the top. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is a bit outside the city center - we knew that when we got there. But sadly the buses (even if they were quite frequent) where often very crowded, uncomfortable and slow. As for the hotel itself, the staff ranged from top notch to downright rude. I find it a bit hard to call this a four star hotel, but it would be a fantastic three star hotel […] :) The breakfast was OK. A little tip: Down the road there's a restaurant full of locals - because the food is cheap and very good! This hotel is a bit away from the center, has been located in the nice neighborhood and is well connected to the city center. Room, although not as spatious, has been kept very clean. in the residential parioli neighborhood within walking distance of the villa borghese and modern art museum, the hotel is a find in a city no longer the oasis for budget it once was. the hotel is a 12-minute bus ride on numbers 36 or 84 from central station, and the bus stops right across the street from the hotel. the nearest metro is bologna which […] is over a kilometre away. staff if accommodating and polite; breakfast is very good, especially for italy: one morning there were even blood oranges in the made-from scratch fruit salad. lighting lacks sublety, and furniture is dated, but these are the only drawbacks. I checked carrefully the reviews of a lot of hotels in Rome for spending a long weekend there, I choose Fenix Hotel, because seems to be almost what I was looking for (nice, quiet, clean, tasty breakfast, good services). So, the conclusion after three nights there - I recomand it for a few nights. Good things - nice decorations, I liked a lot the colors, […] confortable bed, good quality products at breakfast, cleaning lady made properly her job every day, the front desk managers knows how to smile negative - old hotel refreshed only in interior with some defaults, sanitary metals full of dirt under, elevator is a little nightmare if u are afraid of it, us, we took our chance and was ok. What I did not understand was why the fontdesk manager asked us some euro city tax, if on hotels.com is write that the final amount paid include all taxes and charges? PS Rome deserve to be visit! One of my family's room was too noisy, can feel all cars were racing in surround you. Also , you must to check your room bill at the end carefully. The reception lady was too rude and asked to pay extra as we already been paid extra for a room of 3 persons.

I chose this hotel due to the good comments from other travellers, but I found a hotel that not only was far from the center but also not as charming as it looks in the pictures. It is run down, a bit dirty and the people at the reception were totally rude. Really not recommendable at all.

This hotel is conveniently located near all the must see sights in Rome but far enough from all the chaos of the city. Friendly staff, great breakfast, great rooms for European standards, and best of all clean! I would recommend this hotel to any friend going to Rome.

My husband I really liked this hotel. It was a good 20 minute train ride to the center of Rome and 10 min. walk to the train station. I liked the neighborhood (quiet and pretty), the rooms were comfortable and charming (there was a balcony and full bath), and the free breakfast in the morning in the lovely garden was a treat. The metro is about a 10/15 minute walk and is easy to get to most places but it stops early - around 11pm and the cabs hike up their prices after that time so […] it was about a 12 euro fee to ge back. Bus service right outside 10 min. to city center. Breakfast o.k. October too cool to enjoy lovely garden. Rooms nice size. Staff cool, seems typical for Italians in larger cities. Stayed 5 nights and would go back. WiFi at $5.00 @ day (when will they learn we are used to free in US) but free computer in lobby to print boarding passes.

WE STAYED AT HOTEL FENIX FOR 4 NIGHTS IN SEPT 2010. THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE WITH CLEAN, ELEGANT,SPACIOUS ROOMS WITH ATTACHED TOILETS. THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND HELPFUL. Very nice place, especially for the price. It was a little out of the way, but close to many bus lines. Most of the staff were very friendly and spoke very good english. This is a lovely hotel in a tranquil and pleasant neighbourhood which is only about ten minutes on the bus to the Termini area and a bit longer (highly variable, depending on the traffic) to Piazza Venezia. Every able-bodied visitor to Rome should experience at least one bus journey, the drivers need nerves of steal and the patience of a saint! We arrived at the hotel using the underground metro service which runs from Termini. The Metro takes you to a place called Bologna which is the closest stop the the hotel. You can walk to the hotel in 5-10mins, its pretty easy to find, the surrounding area is quite upper class, we actually arrived at night and after taking a few side streets and onto […] the main road, we found it no problem. When we arrived at the hotel it seemed pretty nice, clean and well maintained. The gentleman at the reception wasnt friendly, he wasnt rude either, he just checked us in and sent us on our way. On arriving at the room I was pretty dissapointed. It held none of the former charm and character I'd seen in the hotel upon arriving and previously on the website. I realise that most websites show their best rooms but I'd have expected them all to be 4 star standard...this wasnt 4 star. In its defense though it was clean and had towels etc but it was very small and the decor was poor. The breakfast was a redeeming factor for this hotel which was at 4 star standard. Good continental selection, fresh pastries, cereal, eggs and fresh fruit etc. With waitors on-hand to help with anything. When we checked out the hotel the women on the reception desk was very friendly and wished us well. If i had booked this hotel for more than two nights Id have asked for another room but for the price I paid and the hassle of moving, it wasnt really worth the trade off. Its not a bad hotel, I just doubt I would return to it again. Excellent Hotel, good breakfast, on good bus routes to city all for just 1 euro friendly staff, not too much trouble to do anything for the guests

This was our first experience in Rome and the Fenix was excellent. The room was nice, clean, and well organized. The staff spoke English (somewhat) and knew about great things in the area. The price was reasonable as well. Breakfast was nice as well. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in a good neighborhood near a major street. Metro was 5-10 minute walk away so we found it more convenient to take the 36 or 84 bus (stop was 1/2 block away at most) to the train terminal to catch metros to anywhere in the city. Although not near the center of the city the Fenix is a great bargin and I highly recoomend it.

staff at the front desk was very impersonal, the place (elevator, room, etc) was small and not very close to a metro-station.

We loved this hotel which included very friendly service, nice breakfast each morning, excellent location, great neighborhood, and comfortable albeit small rooms. We would happily stay here again next time we return to Rome.

we had little problem to find the hotel on our 1st day, since we took the bus and it was dark at the time. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room is very small even in European standard. The hotel was a good choice, It is located in a good and safe locations ( many embassies around). The bus station in close to the hotel and you can reach the center (termini or venetia plazza) in 15-20 mins. We had to take bus everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was great, they were helpful. The room was clean and plenty of space. They had a nice courtyard outside for breakfast. This place would be my first place to stay at if I visit Rome again.

The room was a good size and so was the bath. Not as large as American hotels, but this is Europe and standards are different. It is in a nice neighborhood and the buses are right there. Easy to get to the Termanal for bus and train and go from there. Very quiet in room because windows keep out the sound.

Good, central location close to major bus lines and Metro. Good service.

If you don't mind walking a bit to sights or walking the few blocks to the Metro-B, this hotel is great. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast in the courtyard was very nice.

Bottom line: This is a very nice hotel that is remarkably reasonably priced for its quality in Rome. It's in a modern building but the interior and garden are charmingly old world with some boutique edgy touches. The guestrooms varied from interesting and quirky to pleasant and comfortable. There was a problem with the rooms on our first stay (weak […] A/C on the top floor in an August heat wave) that the staff dealt with by moving us to much larger but more worn rooms. On the second stay, the rooms were better than both sets on the first stay. The staff is very nice, friendly and highly competent. Among the best "included" breakfasts--food, setting (the garden) and service-- we've seen in Europe at moderately priced hotels. The hotel is not within walking distance of any of the sites of Rome, but there are frequent buses that stop almost in front of the hotel (and about which the staff dispenses clear information) and travel to the site-rich areas in 10-20 minutes--a small price to pay for a huge savings on rates and the quiet of a leafy residential neighborhood. This was a great hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights. We had Room Service and it was very nice. The workers were very sweet and helpful. It is about 10 minutes from the nearest metro station, called bologna. This metro station can take you to the Colosseom, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. This hotel is not close to these attractions at all. Like […] I said. The metro took us to all these places. You can pay for Internet. $5.00 euro for 24 hours. It was well worth it. They have computer by the desk that you can use but they only expect you to use it for checking mail and quick things. Vi tyckte inte riktigt att bilderna på hotellet riktigt stämde överens med verkligheten. Utvändigt ser hotellet hemskt ut (grå betong) men invändigt är det bättre. Rummet var litet och mkt omodernt men med stor toalett. Rummet var rent och sängen väldigt skön. Det finns inte någon safetybox i alla rum som det står på hotels.com, vi hade ingen. Hotellpersonalen […] var mkt hjäpsam och det var ordning och reda. Se till att inte bo i den delen av hotellet som ligger nära vägen eftersom den är väldigt trafikerad och störande. God frukostbuffe i fin restaurang. Lite långt till alla sevärdheter men bussarna går ofta i närheten av hotellet. Подробнее
