Комната по большей части была чистая и пахло чистым, но было несколько аспектов - занавес в ванной между душем и пол, казался, не самым чистым. На внешней стороне было тревожным видеть, что 2-4 комнаты на каждом этаже имели раздвижные заколоченные стеклянные двери. Превосходные внешний вид отеля и удобства. Номерам бы не помешало небольшое обновление. Отель, который ставит в номер небольшую плиту, мог бы также поставить и микроволновку. Маловероятно, чтобы я стал готовить еду в номере, но хотелось бы иметь возможность разогреть остатки еды на вынос. Вид отличный, и цена очень хорошая. Для отеля на курорте "Daytona Beach" отель не так уж и плох. Некоторые обновления ему бы не помешали, но, в целом, неплохо. Мы искали номер, чтобы спать в нем, а не чтобы жить в нем. Ванная комната очень чистая, зона у бассейна чистая и в хорошем состоянии. В общем, неплохо!

После регистрации нам дали номер, выглядевший неприятно, как в трущобах, по всему столу были расплавленные остатки воска или восковых карандашей, мини-плита выглядела ужасно. Я пошел на стойку регистрации и сказал сотруднику, что это неприемлемо. Он дал мне 4 ключа от других номеров, чтобы их посмотреть. Номера выглядели гнусно. Никогда не убирались, […] нужно ходить в ботинках, потому что ковровое покрытие на полу грязное. У нас была семья из 4-х человек, получили 1-2 полотенца на все время, пришлось звонить и просить дать больше. Сотрудники приятные и дружелюбные. Приятный бассейн, но не понравилось, что разрешается курить и в открытом и в закрытом бассейнах, люди в обоих бассейнах были с сигаретами. Сказал сотруднику, но никто ничего не сделал. У нас были неприятности с получением полотенец и другими удобствами: бронировал номер с двумя двуспальными кроватями увеличенного размера, а получил номер с двумя полутораспальными кроватями, из-за чего у меня ноги свисали с края кровати. This place really needs some updating and a thorough cleaning! Overall I enjoyed being in Daytona, I did not have to stay in my room much! The bartenders by the poo lare actually really good and super nice!

my only complaint was the bathroom shower! You could not get a consistent water temperature, It would go from being hot water to cold water while taking a shower. Other than that it was nice hotel!

The only thing good about this hotel was the view. The lights in the room did not work. The closet was a mess. The dry wall was falling apart and there was dust and pieces of it all over the floor. Went on a weekend getaway with my husband to this hotel and it was better than expected. The staff was very nice. There was music at the bar by the pool, so if u like to have a good time with alot of people and loud music then this is the spot, right on the beach and all the rooms have balconys with view to the beach. very poorly ran hotel and the staff was NOT pleasant.

Can't beat the pool and beachfront feel! The room was in need for a lot if TLC: AC was loud and knocked, cold water handle was broken and temp went to one extreme to the other while showering, after cleaning our room, maid left our door open for hours, and finally, just needs to be renovated. This hotel was booming back in the day, but until its spruced […] up, it's just mediocre. The hotel was decent and the housekeeping staff was nice. The front desk staff name Jennifer was horrible. My sister cut her toe on their lawn chair by the pool and was bleeding. She walked to the front desk and asked for a bandaid and Jennifer (front desk) told her 7-11 is down the street and she would have to get one from there. I was appalled by […] her actions. The staff was wonderful. The pool deck area with Tiki bar and DJ was excellent. I would probably not stay here again because of room 421. These are all individually owned condos but this particular condo was in disrepair. The oven didn't work at first, the fan was missing a blade. The kitchen didn't seem very clean so we didn't use it at all. The bed […] was comfortable but the condo needed a deep down cleaning from the floor to the ceiling. we were there for 3 nights they never came to clean the room the beds were made by myself...no vacuum the only thing the girl did was leave 2 towels and shampoo when I asked for bar soap she said she had not had any in 2 days I was able to get a bar of soap from the front desk this could be a great hotel if they took more pride in their housekeeping […] staff the pool music and tikki bar are great the girl who works the afternoon shift front desk is awesome her name started with a T a different name but very beautiful name just cannot recall it right now she was wonderful and helpful. Clean rooms, comfy bed. A bit run down, but great view and outdoor pool and beach were great. BUT, if I ask for some creamers and sweetener for my coffee, don't point at the closed restaurant and say " It's closed for another half hour." For what you charge, get me some creamer and sweetener for my coffee. That is all.

The deadbolt on the door did not work and it appears it hasn't work for some time. This need to be addressed. It appears this is a old hotel with a fresh coat of paint. I would look for another hotel if i come back to the area.

The rooms were dirty. They swept the carpet, not vacuum. Same fuzz on the bathroom floor all week. I got a bad rash on my wrists and feet that started after arrival...it disappeared within a day of leaving. Never had a rash like that before in my 40 years aside from poison ivy. We had an awesome time at this hotel very convenient to surronding attractions and gives you affordable attraction coupons! was nicer then i expected and very affordable considering it is directly on the beachfront!

great location, old but clean hotel, good price break, this place was in its prime in the 70's and 80's. it is still ok......just not the ritz! good value@ $$ per night for 3 people in prime time. other places were well over $$$ per night and from outward appearences no better.

Room was comfortable but outdated - stains on tub and other appliances. Bed spread was cheap. Patio door was hard to handle. View was spectacular.

Room was very nice and large. Our room was located on the bottom floor that had direct access to the pool. Tiki bar was nice and they make strong drinks. Husband and I laid in the hammocks together and enjoyed the quiteness and the view. Only complaint was the micro mini bath towels and the roughness of them also. Hotel has older htg.& air system we checked into room turned on a/c but the room never cooled after first night told front desk a/c not working and was told the heat was still on unable to switch over .Requested room with a/c and was moved to other side of motel with heat/air unit in room.The view was great,room was clean,older motel but felt like it […] was a good value.Spent most the time outdoors and was right on the beach,large outdoor pool area.They we not full when we were there so was able to move rooms.Would stay there again but would request a room with its own htg. & air system for comfort.Had a great vacation over all. We checked in Hawaiian Inn on Dec. 29th evening after a long drive , but no one was at the front desk , we waited about ten minutes started looking for the person found she is somewhere watching a party .When we got a room by the noisy air condition fan , we thought they must be busy that no other room was available .There was no cool air but heat . […] We took a while figure out by flip a light switch to stop the heat . The refrigerator was nasty, there was black mold all around the top door.There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom ,after my two kids took a shower was all steamy .The second morning we walked down the lobby, there was a huge roach laying on the middle of the floor.Also they were remodeling the room on the top floor, the noise of cutting metal was so loud and lasted most the day time.Talked about ocean view , the first thing we saw when we opened the glass door was black marker written 'do not remove this chair' on the back of two chairs on the porch and a empty outdoor swimming pool.The only joy we had was we found some cute kids sandals in the gift shop, and person who worked there was very nice .We left there around midnight, because we don't want spend another night and we will never go back there ever again.We don't understand what that two stars come from, we stayed three stars hotel last year it was much much better than this, this experience has taught us a lesson that don't try to save the money on the two stars because it's so not worth it. We had a good time in this hotel. Kitchen with all tableware, fridge, and microwave helped us a lot since we brought our baby. Also the view from the balcony was wonderful. We had no idea until checking out that the units could be owned. We only found out because to our dismay even though it was New Years Eve the room next to us blasted and I am saying blared the music well into 8am the following morning. After calling the front desk they went to the room and the room music was brought down "some". With no sleep and disgusted […] by the shower head and room we left and asked in the front desk about the noise. Well I asked what about if we never come here again how will they keep up the place? Will the owners of that particular room pay for all repairs and maintenace and his job? Are there no rules for them to abide by? And why am I being treated as lower class because I chose to stay a night and not a lifetime! The pool was not filled, the jacuzzi was not filled. Nothing on the website to let us know before hand. Some rooms are nice whle others are very poor condition. We tried to change rooms but none were available we were told. We stayed here many years ago, but decided to visit again and we were very satisfied. Everything was still as good as it was then. The staff very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and the rate was fantastic. Hope to come again.

ROOMS NEED TO BE UPDATED. FRIG WAS RUSTY, BATH TUB DIRTY, TOWELS HARDER THAN A ROCK . BEDROOM HAS A WINDOW THAT IS ON THE HALLWAY(NOT SAFE). HOUSEKEEPERS NEED NI- SERVICE ON CLEANING ROOM. ONLY THING POSITIVE GOOD VIEW OF THE BEACH.

Hawaiian Inn seems to be an old hotel and, therefore, needs to be updated. However, you cannot beat the location or prices! I love the idea of it being right on the beach! Overall, I think it is a great hotel!

Everyone in the Hotel was nice and helpful, and friendly. We had a bachelorette party of 9 and everything was great. I would like to thank them, including getting us several more towels at 2 am. I will tell all me friends to stay with you guys. Thanks again. Pam

The room was old and a little dirty. The towels were stained. The description mentions the luau dinner and show and some other features that are not "part" of the hotel. The view is magnificent however the bar was closed before we got back from dinner on a Saturday night. We stayed in room 207, Beachfront, nice, clean and good service. Great view, loved the tiki bar at the pool. Brian at the service desk is awesome, and helped with any questions we had. Will definitely stay there again.

great place to stay

There are lots of negative reviews for this hotel, but it is not at all as bad as they all make it sound. They are in the process of doing some updates, but for the amount of money that we spent for the week, it was well worth it. The pool area is very large and very nice. The room was OK, still needs a few updates done to it, but nothing that ruined […] our stay, we were there for the beach, not for the comforts of our room. No restaurant to eat at. anything we needed we would have to pay. the pool towels were only at the front desk. Maintianace work all over the place. First day, they were power washing the floors, they started at 8:30 or so. next day, they were fixing rooms with a bunch of handy man walking ground, specially around the pool area. The room service never […] came on the second day. The door did not have a secure lock. The pool bar was not part of the hotel so you had to carry money or credit card to get a drink. This was not a place I will return to. Just to get a coffee in the morning you have to drive off to a store. No thanks. Only one cart in the entire hotel to move belonging. The towels are very very thin and the carpet is very dingy. The view is spectacular.

Hotel at time of stay was still under some construction. The room was clean but, we requested some towels and took several hrs before we got them. window sills were very dirty and mold around them. microwave didn't work. elevators outdated and in need of work. ceilings leak in lobby. need more luggage carts. had to wait 45mins for one. could use a restaurant […] and continental bkfst for what they get for a room. other hotels in area are more accomdating for the price. The room smelled bad. There were big stains all over the floor. The beds were very uncomfortalbe.
