У нас был прекрасный номер (просторный, аккуратный, современный), хорошо приготовленный завтрак, отличный персонал. Только не советуем отправляться в Венецию во время забастовки водителей речных трамваев, иначе Вам придется пройти довольно большое расстояние с багажом. В остальном, остановка речных трамваев находится в одном квартале от отеля. Перед […] этим, мы останавливались в другом отеле, в другой части Венеции, и хоть там нам тоже все понравилось, Best Western позволил нам открыть для себя иную, более миролюбивую и спокойную часть Венеции - Венеции, не переполненной туристами, где можно узнать, как проходит рядовой день рядового венецианца. Кстати, недалеко от отеля можно найти автомат для продажи закусок, если ночью захочется перекусить; он находится у ограждения парка, расположенного между остановкой речных трамваев и самим отелем. Четырехзвездочный отель St. Elena должен быть разжалован до 3 звезд, и не только из-за размера. Состояние отеля не тянет на 4 звезды: прилегающая территория и само здание должны быть в лучшем состоянии. Самое большое раздражение мне доставил кондиционер, который то работал, то не работал, и персонал отеля ничего не мог сделать, пока не пришел мастер […] и не починил его. Потом выяснилось, что проблемы с кондиционированием есть во всем отеле. Ресторан отеля был закрыт в промежутке между завтраком и ужином. Минибар в нашем номере был заперт. Больше всего понравилось расположение: достаточно далеко от самой Венеции - очень помогает отдохнуть от суеты летней венецианской толпы. Отель находится в жилом районе. Садитесь на речной трамвай на пл. St. Mark's, выходите через три остановки - окажетесь на расстоянии 2-ух небольших кварталов от отеля, расположенного в 100 шагах от парка и прибрежной части города. Прекрасное пристанище и место отдыха, хорошая отправная точка для каждодневных приключений в этом замечательном городе. Бесплатный выход в Интернет с двумя […] точками подключения. Великолепный завтрак. Не упустите шанс пообедать в чудесном внутреннем дворике. Вечернее меню довольно дорогое (но соответствует итальянским ценам), ничего заоблачного. В окрестностях найдете несколько ресторанчиков с более умеренными ценами; там принимают к оплате пластиковые карты. Также неподалеку удобно расположены продуктовые магазины, где можно приобрести как снеки, так и более серьезные продукты. Через ресепшн можно организовать такси, чтобы Вас забрали с вокзала/автобусной остановки, но НЕ забудьте сказать водителю, куда Вы направляетесь. Будьте готовы к чату с водителем в пути, а может и к его бесконечным телефонным разговорам. Можно заказать бесплатное частное такси на экскурсию в один из стекольных заводов Murano с демонстрацией изготовления стеклянного изделия, однако тут будьте готовы к немедленным просьбам что-нибудь купить. Можно, конечно, воспользоваться и общественным такси. Прекрасные окрестности с красивыми деревьями и пешеходными дорожками. Советую хотя бы разок прогуляться из отеля до площади St. Mark's вдоль судоходного русла и через несколько красивых мостов - просто неописуемое зрелище. Отель Вам очень понравится, как только Вы там окажетесь. Будьте готовы к тому, что придется немного повозить Ваши сумки от вокзала до остановки речного трамвая, а потом до отеля. Отель находится в жилом районе города, вокруг - сады с густой растительностью и общественные площади. Местоположение этого отеля […] сочетает в себе близость к главной части города и умиротворяющее спокойствие, которое поможет Вам расслабиться и отдохнуть от всей туристической суеты напряженного дня. Персонал доброжелательный и отзывчивый. В полулюксе, который мы заказали, было достаточно места для 7-идневного пребывания без риска развития клаустрофобии. В номере есть проводные интернет-точки, а на общественных территориях можно поймать Wi-Fi. Завтракать можно как в ресторане, так и в обнесенном со всех сторон саду, а если хотите - в открытой столовой на углу сада. Сами номера безукоризненно чистые, современные и снабжены всем необходимым. Небольшой недостаток состоит в том, что атмосфера бара, находящегося в ресторане, не очень интимна и не располагает к бокалу вина перед сном, к тому же бар закрывается в 23.00. В нескольких сотнях метров от отеля есть остановка речных трамваев, а прямо рядом с отелем проходит небольшой речной канал, на котором можно сесть или сойти с частного такси, отправляясь или приезжая из аэропорта. Путь в аэропорт на частном такси занимает 30 минут, тогда как на общественном понадобится 90, да и придется потолкаться с сумками, сначала около трамвая, а потом при пересадке у о. This hotel in Venice was excellent. It is three water taxi stops from the main section of Venice. That shouldn't bother anyone though, as the ferries come every 7 minutes, and it is only about a 7 minute ride. It is literally a one minute walk from the water ferry station. We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sant Elena. Despite not being quite in the Center of Venice, it is an easy walk or short vaparetto from the main sites, and benefits from well appointed and sized rooms, especially for Venice The staff were courteous and helpful at all times. We would definitely stay here again!

I spent most of my time out of the hotel but when I was there it was a good hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good price and wants to stay on the island. Don't forget it's a good amount of time spent walking around all of Venice and the hotel is far from the train station so take a taxi boat to get there if you don't want to walk

The hotel was just beautiful,clean,convenient to the major sights, especially if you use the ferry pass. The staff were very helpful and very welcoming on arrival. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, would recommend staying here to all.

We were a sort of late honneymooners.... The hotel is located at the far end of the main island and not easy to find the hotel on night arrival as we did. Nevertheless, we loved the hotel and the staff was helpfull. On the other hand, the location is a blessing for honeymooners.

Nice quiet surroundings but they were remodeling and we got the garden rooms. It was raining and we get wet every time we went out. Easy vaporetto connection to Venice specially if you buy the three day pass. Breakfast is included and good overall.

It's is in a super quiet residential area. The water bus is only about 150 yards away and you can get anywhere you need to easily. We were glad we stayed out Side the tourist area which is very busy and noisy. It is an enjoyable 15-20 min walk to St. Mark's square. Get the water taxi ticket that includes the grand canal tour for an extra 10 Euro. You […] can but an unlimited ride water bus pass in different increments of time, very hand with the location of this hotel. Seems out if the way at first but once you understand the system, it isa great place to stay and be able to hear a pin drop after the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. My wife and I were convinced that it would be our destination to stay next time we get to Venice. Note a few small places to get a drink, coffee or pizza, etc... But if you want a full meal, do that in one of the more tourist areas before getting back th the hotel. Breakfast was included and acceptable. As someone who travels 200+ days a year, this was by far one of the best hotels. It's in a quiet neighborhood next to the park. Hard to find in Venice. Local food. Not touristic. 6 minutes by boat to lido island and the beaches, 10 by boat to Marco square and 30 by boat to piazza de Roma where u can take a bus tithe airport. This building is an old convent so the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the decor is modern, not typical and tacky venetian style. Although generaly nice room the upkeep was disappointing, view from garden room was long grass and never cut. During a festival event they shut the kitchen at 9pm so could not get anything to eat after then.

This is a little gem of a hotel! We selected it based on the location - which was perfect - away from the tourist crowds, charming, quiet and clean, and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The room was clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, and the front desk staff were friendly […] and helpful (all the recommendations they gave were spot-on#. From the Sant'Elena vaporetto stop, the hotel is a short walk through the park and up a block, which is easy when towing luggage. There's also a directional sign right off the stop. The best way to travel between the hotel and Marco Polo airport is the airport shuttle bus #No. 5 ACTV - 8 euros per person, clean and air conditioned, about 30 minutes) and the No. 5 vaporetto. Upon arrival in Venice, we took the Alilaguna water bus which took a long time, was crowded with other arriving passengers and their luggage, and made many stops between the airport and Lido. From Lido, one must switch to a vaporetto as Alilaguna does not stop at Sant'Elena. Taking the advise of the front desk staff upon our departure, we took the airport shuttle. The No 5 vaporetto stops at Sant'Elena and takes you all the way to Piazzale Roma, where the bus terminals are located. We ate dinner at a small family owned restuarant a couple nights, and had lunch at the local pizzaria. Wonderful local italian food! Подробнее

Originally built as a convent, the building has 4 floors on 2 sides of a garden with some attractive ground floor, garden facing rooms and a restaurant added to the other 2 sides of the garden. A good breakfast was included, served in […] a central room overlooking the garden. The main distintive feature of the hotel is its location. It appears to be the only hotel on the island of Sant Elena, with the rest of the island being a residential area with local shops, cafes,and parks. This gave us the feeling of returning to a small local community after a busy day sightseeing. The waterbus stop is a short walk away and the hotel is approached through a pleasant wooded park. Clearly this hotel would not be the correct choice for someone who likes staying in a more compact hotel in the middle of a bustling city, however it suited us very well.St.Marks Square is only 3 stops away on the waterbus with the Lido only 1 stop in the other direction. Since the island is connected by bridges to the main part of Vencice you are not dependant on the waterbus, and can walk to St.Marks Square in about 30 minutes. From the airport we took the Alilaguna waterbus to the Lido and then changed to the local waterbus for 1 stop. This was better than taking the bus from the airport to the bus station which would then require a longer waterbus journey across the length of Venice. Подробнее

Just visited for a few days with my daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday. The hotel for us was perfect, not saying it would be for all if you want to be in the centre of the City. It is very close for the Vaporetti, and easy to find too. However we chose to walk along the waterfront into Venice, which I would say this is a comfortable 30 minute walk. This does give you chance to really feel the location and enjoy the view from afar. Breakfast was help yourself, and a good selection of cereals, breads, pastries along with bacon and eggs. Could not be faulted - especially with the option to choose to sit insides in the air conditioning or outside in the covered garden restaurant section. Quality shampoo, soap and shower gels are provided which is great when travelling with hand luggage only. I would strongly recommend, and would choose to stay here again. We had a fab few days in Venice. The hotel was just outside the centre so it was a quiet escape from the hussle of the city. It was so easy to jump on the waterbus which is about a one minute walk away or a ten minute walk to the centre.
