I would stay again but pool was way too cold some one smoking on top for elevator area grass needed mowing rooms nice & clean & breakfast good

We selected this hotel because it had an indoor hot tub AND an in-room refrigerator. When we got there we immediately noticed there was no refrigerator in the room. The desk staff said that only SOME of their rooms have refrigerators, and blamed Hotels.com for the selection of a room without one. They also stated they couldn't move us because they were […] fullly booked. When we went down to the hot tub, we found that the control was broken, and there was hot water but no jets. I noticed that the hotel also turns off access to the pool well before the posted closing time. The room was clean, and had night stands on both sides of the bed (which is oddly uncommon). The bed, however, was the hardest we have ever encountered, more like Morgue Slab than Hotel Extra Firm. The AC unit maintained room temperature by blasting icey wind then shutting down, forcing a sleep cycle of cover/uncover/cover/etc. The toilet clogged, but the staff response was prompt. Подробнее

The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were quiet and clean. I liked having a sink next to the fridge and microwave. Hot water! Good value.

Pool was dirty, and the food quality at breakfast was very poor, the cream cheese for the bagels was warm, the sausage and eggs were cold and not cooked properly. My room was clean and the hotel staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The bathroom had no place to put clean clothes which was a little annoying. The room had no closet so items had to be left in the floor. Never could get connected to the WiF but wasn't there long enough to worry about getting help. The hotel and room was extremely clean. Best nights sleep in an amazingly comfortable bed. Was a little noisy but my stay was as pleasant as the 4 star hotel I stayed in near the galleria in Dallas. I will absolutely stay here again!

Road noise on the west side of hotel is a little bothersome at night. Fine place to stay if all you want is a decent place to stay.

Holiday Inn Express has very nice accommodations, great beds, good complimentary breakfast, good room rates (when Texas Tech is not playing a home game) and a free USA Today newspaper. Our stay was very satisfying. We highly recommend this hotel.

No surprises, pretty standard for a Holiday Inn Express. Room was next to vending machines so that added a bit of noise. The hotel was undergoing remodeling, but that did not negatively impact stay. Staff was friendly and breakfast items were standard. Room was comfortable and clean.

Overall, a good stay. Polite and friendly staff. The surrounding neighborhood made me slightly uncomfortable, especially considering the amount of equipment in my service vehicle. While clean, there was a lack of attention to detail. I still had coffee grounds in the maker, even though they resupplied the coffee I used. Holiday Inn Express has always been my favorite place to stay away from home. This trip was the worst experience I have ever had. We changed rooms within one hour of arriving due to the noise in the hotel. The second room was a little better but not a lot. We paid for an King Executive Room but did not get that. The second night, we were locked out […] of our room, had to go back downstairs to obtain new keycard, then when we got inside and started to shower there were no towels (we had not used any since our arrival). Asked when the manager would be there and was told the next morning at 800 a.m. He was not there at 10:00 a.m. when I asked to speak with him. Was told the wrong times for breakfast bar so when I went downstairs no breakfast was ready. The day we checked out I asked again to speak with the manager and was told he was not there. He evidently is the manager of all Holiday Inn Expresses in Lubbock therefore we will not be staying at any of them in the future. The walls were paper thin and I could hear talking in the next room. Oh let' not forget housekeeping going to each and every door on the floor each and every morning around 900 a.m. and knocking wake up housekeeping. Not the restful three days I had planned. Had I not paid in advance on Hotels.com we would not have stayed the three nights. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE OVERALL! Подробнее

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. Our microwave didn't work in our room, but we did just fine. The breakfast was ready on time and was kept fresh. I would choose this hotel again!!

Our stay was great and the room was really nice. However, even though there was a "security gaurd" in the lobby one of our cars was still broken into and lots of stuff was stolen during the night. I was disappointed in the hotels reaction or care regarding this incident.

I have only one complaint regarding this hotel. They are in some serious need of some new pillows ! Every other Holiday Inn express has incredible pillows. The ones in our room were worn out years ago and need to be replaced.

My only real complaint was with the manager. The tub for whatever reason was very slippery. My fiancee' fell in the tub and hit her knee and arm pretty badly. The front desk was apologetic and offered medical assistance. He also gave us a shower mat. He left a note for the manager to call us. He never did. Never returned our call either.

Everything was great and the only recommendation I have (although I know it will not make a difference) is that breakfast goes until 10 or even 1030 for those who want to sleep in because they are on vacation. We stayed here to be able to relax and the last thing we wanted to do was have to get up early just to eat. Very outdated, fixtures in bathroom rusted, biggest disappointment was the indoor swimming pool was way cold and the grandchildren who love to swim would not even get in. Swimming was one of the main reasons we took the trip!!
