sheets or towels not changed, continental breakfast-blue bananas, no fresh coffee, will never stay there at that location and doubt seriously if I ever stay at any other budgetel.

My two day stay was the worst ever. The place was very loud and you could hear everything around you. The worst part was the fact I had to sleep on the bed spread because my bed was dirty and nasty. Hotel staff was rude upon check-in, glared at me like I was inconviencing him by being there. (It was 1am upon check-in). The hotel smelt like a moth ball - the room was better, but not much. Stated the reservation was for 2 double (room was a king) and argued about that. Then when I tell him there was stuff all over the room he blew up at me saying no there wasn't. I was just in the room, pretty sure I know what it looks like. Said I could pay and extra $21 for 2 double beds, which I was not going to do as that is what I selected upon booking. Said I would take the king as I had a sick friend, but it was very poor customer service arguing with me about what a room condition was like. He went up to the room with us to "show me nothing was wrong". Finally get in our room and the bathroom door doesn't close, and there were burn stains all over the ironing board. Carpet was gross. Overall this is a run down/old motel with very rude staff. I will never stay here again. Подробнее

Was a quiet enough room, however, the shower was dripping all night. The two lamps by the bed were not working, making the room very dreary. I took a shower, in ankle deep water, because the drain was clogged.

The room smelled strange, and the smell lingered n my clothes during the day. The sheets on the beds, while clean, had stains indicating their age. When we got there, they did not have us on the first floor, where I request my room to be. Second, they had us in a king bed, instead of two dbl. beds. The hallways smelled of some kind of cleaning fluid. Third, are room cards did not work on the side entrances. Could not find hotel help at the front desk a few times when I needed help.

This hotel is aweful. The neighborhood seemed nice enough as there were plenty of places to eat. However, the hotel is in shambles. My room had no phone, the tv was broke, the swinging door lock was broke, there was crayon on the walls, the doors to the closet were off the hinges. My concerns were not with the room itself but the hotel overall - a lot of things looked like they needed repair - the carpet throughout was very worn, and our floor had an odor We also had a lot of trouble with our key which worked fine with our room but not at our entrance to the building I will not stay here again

you get what you pay for,,, looks like they have put a little money into the rooms, but the hallway to get to the room has doors that are closed and the hallways smell very musty/moldy. remove tHE doors and might help. was relieved when made it to the room, but they do need to put new carpet in EVERYWHERE!!!!!

First of all, the hotel was hidden back behind another hotel, which made it difficult to find. The outside of the facility and community areas (such as the lobby and hallways) were very dirty and smelled musty. The person who checked us in was not very polite or friendly. Wrappers and soda cans under bed. Hallway had bad oder. Up keep of building and surrounding area was not good. The only plus was staff was nice and pool was decent.

I have traveled professionally for over 20 years, I have stayed at better places in the Bronx. Terrible staff, spent over an hour trying to find the hotel. because the guy at the desk could not tell us what street it was on. The condition of the place was the worst I have seen. Spend an extra $10 and get a place you can get a decent nights rest.

Next time I will opt to just stay in a road side ditch. Ask to see a room before you check in, once you do everything else will be clear... that is if you make it to a room. Trust your instinct when you see this place.

We arrived to an unkempt parking lot with lots of potholes. The entrance was pretty dirty, and the front desk was disorganized and the walls decorated with stick-on floor tiles. We drove around to the door closest to our room and found it unlocked and propped open- so anyone could enter. Our bedspreads were covered in holes from cigarettes and there was a hole in the bathroom door. I liked the location. The room was really nice and clean. The bed for comfortable. The hotel had a negative, the pool looked a little gross. The water looked murky and looked like they didn't know how to take care of it.

From the gut wrenching smell in the stairwell to the lumpy mattress, the night spent at this hotel was restless at best. The staff was delinquent, rude and unfriendly to add to the 'pleasure' of staying in this hotel. The only good thing was the Starbucks right next door. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for a nights rest.

We stayed here because we were on night 3 of no power in this sweltering heat. They allowed pets and were close to home. The room was cold and that was the best part. Otherwise the building, hallways and grounds were filthy. Never again!

They changed the type of room we had without telling us and then said there wasn't a room with a king bed as we had reserved. The hotel common area smells a bit odd and is run down. They were still cleaning the room when we arrived, escorted, to the room, but finished quickly. The room was pretty clean and didn't smell like the rest of the building. […] The room had several amenities (fridge, microwave), and there was a Trader Joe's across the street, which was nice. People who appeared to live there hung around a bit on Sunday, but they were friendly. It certainly served the purpose of having a place to stay for the night, and I had a great weekend. I travel a lot, and this was the number one scariest place I've ever stayed. The hotel is beyond its years, the rugs are filthy, and an unpleasant smell lurks in the stairwells. The room was dirty, dusty, and unmaintained. I could never recommend this hotel, and giving a one star rating is being generous. Avoid at all costs.

the dirtiest and worst hotel I've been to in years. The photos posted must be 10 yrs old,. wall paper falling off walls, dirty floor hall ways full of trash and sticky floors. Pool was disgusting. no towels and no circulation in pool, jumped in got out and went to room to shower. Crazy homeless type guy hanging out in lobby. breakfast display was terrible […] black spots on bannanas. I arriveda t 1:30 am and staff couldn't find reservation and i left at 8am because it was so gross. I will never stay at a best value inn after this one. This hotel was nothing like it looked in the pictures , not that they were all that. I did have some issues with this hotel. I had a non-smoking room, and all the rooms in my hallway were non-smoking, but there was a constant smell of smoke throughout the night that I could not locate the source. I would only recommend it because the price was so good. Really, we were just there for a place to sleep so it wasnt that bad. It smelled pretty bad and the immediate area looks a little sketchy, but once you venture out, you can see it's not all that bad. I was a bit worried about this hotel after having read the reviews. But it wasn't that bad. There was a funny smell in the hallways and the room smelled of stale cigarettes. But there were NO bedbugs and the room was clean. And for the price I'd stay there again.

I had originally requested a smoking room, none was available, but I was not advised until I was registering. No internet available (except from outside sources). Both bedside lamps were broken. Hot water was not always available. The only room chair was broken. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door. The bathroom sink stopper was broken. Showering […] was all but impossible because there were only 2 hand towels, a bath mat and 2 wash cloths available. only 1 dresser drawer was operable. Only 1 packet of coffee was available for three nights of occupancy. Luckily I had the needed amenities available at a friends nearby and only used this location for luggage storage and sleep, otherwise I would have been out of there upon first seeing the accomodations. the internet was not working even though i called two times to let them know it is not working. this is a big deal if you are there on business. the drain in the bathroom was not working. i was standing in a few inches of water once i turned the shower on! there is free breakfast withe the stay, but i was gorssed out because of the smell in the building […] and the general atmosphare in the building. A very c omfortable room close to glen ellyn main town. But a very strange hotel, motel all the room numbers range in the 300's but have 3 levels separated by 6 sreps each. But rent at a very very inexspensive rate and well worth it.
