Очень хороший отель для тех, кто путешествует на машине. Персонал вежливый, отзывчивый. Завтраки хорошие. Не очень, правда, понравилось кофе... Но это - на любителя. Если я поеду в Неаполь, то, думаю, остановлюсь тут же.

Recently we returned from the island Ischia where we stayed at the Grifo Hotel. We liked it a lot because it has many strong points: it is not big and therefore the staff is not numerous. But each and every (no matter a waiter or a manager) know how to provide a good service. For a example, on the second day the waiters know what you prefer to drink during the breakfast - water, tea or cappuccino. But we should give his due to the Grifo's owner - Alberto, because such a client oriented direction is specified by him - it is very important for him that the guests feel homey at Grifo. Though it is his work but he does it sincerely and with warmth. There was no a request which the staff could but did not satisfy. The hotel's atmosphere does not suppose loud night parties, vice versa it is a place for a quiet family rest. But it doesn't mean that there is no social life in the hotel - one evening Alberto invited a local musician who performed Italian and world's hits very beautifully. The hotel is situated on the hill and we were confused a little bit initially. But don't be afraid - almost all the time the guys from reception are ready to give you a lift to the seaside. Moreover, we appreciate the hotel's location because it's situated in the distance from the main noisy seaside road, where many other hotels are situated. So, if you like simple but perfect interior style, if you seek for silence and peace and finally if good service means much for you - the Hotel Grifo is a good choice.

"Bed Bugs!!!"
My husband and I stayed at this hotel recently. We arrived from Florence in the early afternoon and headed straight to the hotel. It was quite close to Napoli Centrale, only taking about 10 minutes by foot. We arrived and were greeted warmly. We dropped off our bags and headed out to sightsee. We returned late in the evening. We did some planning for […] the next day then got into bed and did some reading. As I was turning off the light, I sat up and noticed a fairly sizable bug on my pillow. When my husband killed it, it left a bloodstain in the napkin, alerting us to it potentially being a bed bug. When we pulled back the sheets we identified at least 10 other bugs that were large enough to see. We were obviously disgusted and distraught. We had our clothes bags on the bed earlier in the evening and we were concerned that the bugs had gotten into our luggage. We went downstairs, but we were met with disbelief. When we showed the attendant the bugs in our room, he claimed that they must have crawled in from outside. We tried to explain the nature of bed bugs and the seriousness of the issue, but had difficulty due to the language barrier. We wanted to leave the hotel. We decided to pack our things and head down to the front desk to arrange for alternative accommodations. It took us quite a while to pack, as we shook out each piece of clothing as a first effort at ridding ourselves of the bugs. When we got downstairs, it was 12:30am. We were told that other hotels had been contacted but they did not have any vacancies. When we announced that we would just go out and find a new hotel, we were discouraged by the attendant due to the high crime rate on the major street in front of the hotel. After 20 minutes of arguing back and forth, we eventually settled on staying in a new room. We checked it thoroughly and it appeared to be free of bugs. By the time we turned out the lights, it was past 2am. We had difficulty sleeping, as we felt that bugs were still crawling on us. Подробнее
Great location excellent staff
"Location"
If you're looking to spend 1 night as in, I need to leave early in the morning by train- this is a good hotel. Not expensive, and perfect location towards the train station. Don't know about local tourists attraction, that was not my main purpose of travel.

"Hotel Esedra - Naples"
We had some difficulty finding the hotel and it was a much longer walk from the train station than we thought. Once we finally found the place, the staff was very nice and the room itself was fine. "Not plush and roomy"
Didn't realise that a French bed meant you paid more for a smaller bed and smaller room. That didn't seem to make much sense. Recommend this hotel only to serious travelers who have experienced many different hotel environments. If you expect plush and roomy accomodations, this is not the hotel for you.
"Great location for getting around"
We were at first a little worried that our hotel would be too deep in the historic area (read: small alleys, lots of crime) but were very pleasantly surprised by the quaint rooms and friendly service. The bathrooms and rooms in general are small, but for the money, a great value. We were able to walk around the historic district, to the train station, […] to the water, and when adventurous, the archaeological museum. The staff was fantastic--warm, helpful, and honest about good places to eat or relax. Rien à dire sur l'hôtel, en revanche sur ses environs !!! première nuit et vol dans mon véhicule pourtant garé juste en face ... Par contre le personnel de jour fut très serviable.

It is a very genuin hotel very close to the railway station. They are very service minded and beautiful suites.

Klein, hotel met balkon. gunstige ligging ten opzichte van het historisch centrum en het centraal station. Pizzaria da Michele binnen handbereik. Vriendelijk personeel. Kamers zijn niet al te groot, doch netjes en redelijk comfortabel. Het ontbijt is redelijk goed verzorgd.
