Замечательное месторасположние отметит каждый, кто там побывает! Отель в стиле 30-х годов, очень уютный. Кофе и чай предлагают круглосуточно, очень приятно вернувшись с прогулки по январскрму NYC выпить в номере чашечку согревающего кофе. Утром предлагают завтрак, который был вкл в стоимость. полы ужасные- скрипят

Нужен удобный, разумный и чистый отель, чтобы ненадолго остановиться в Нью-Йорке? Отель «Metro» превзошел мои ожидания. Комната маленькая, но чистая, с приятными бонусами: кофеваркой «Kuerig», айподом «Home», плоским экраном, мягким одеялом, баром на крыше, бесплатным Интернетом. Все очень выгодно. Мы с моей женой приехали в город на годовщину свадьбы. Я купил «NYC pass» и распланировал целый день, мы только и успевали сделать все, что хотели. Но об одном я мог не волноваться: об отеле и наших вещах. Отель был очень услужливый, я думаю все это рано или поздно повторить.

Замечательное расположение. Постоянно чистые и хорошо оборудованные комнаты. Дружелюбный персонал. Сразу рядом с приличным рестораном «Metro Grill». Единственным минусом в нашем проживании был кондиционер в комнате, который был не очень сильным — мне еще просто не повезло, что я там был в самый жаркий за последние 60 лет день. Мне никогда не приходилось раньше останавливаться в отеле в Нью-Йорке, т.к. я жил там и у меня есть друзья, которые там живут. Но в этот визит я решил сделать по-другому и остановиться в отеле. Я был так рад, что остановился в отеле «Metro». Комната была чистой и комфортабельной. Сервис был хорошим, и отель расположен идеально. Отель удобно расположен относительно метро и других мест в Мидтауне и удовлетворяет стандартные нужды. Бесплатный wi-fi (довольно быстрый), обширный континентальный завтрак (в пиковые часы собирается много народу, так же, как и в лифтах). Приятный бар на крыше, хотя и открыт только до 11. Туда можно приносить еду и напитки и в другие часы, и он расположен […] буквально в тени "Empire state building". Комната была маленькой, но тихой. Кондиционер работал громко, но был необходим, т.к. окна не открывались и хотя бы вентилятор заглушал периодический шум с улиц Нью-Йорка. Очень дружелюбный персонал. Мы остановились бы снова! Удобно расположен в центре Мидтауна. Дружелюбный сервис, комфортабельно, чисто, и мне понравился бар на крыше с замечательными ночными видами.

Я путешествовал один и сомневался в расположении этого отеля. Но зря — он якро освещен и вокруг чисто, до него легко добраться — ничего такого из сериала «Закон и правопорядок». Процесс регистрации был просто и приятен в отличие от больших «туристических» отелей. Комната была просторной, чистой и привлекательной. Для тех, кому это важно, телевизором […] была плоская панель от Sony, и она была проста работе. Я был в Нью-Йорке на недолгую встречу с однокашниками (общеобразовательная школа № 26 в Квинсе), и нас было около 35 человек, в основном 3, 4, 5 класса выпуска — 50 с лишним лет назад (нам всем по 63/64 года). Staff was friendly - good accomodations for the price

Room was nice, they upgraded us to a larger room. The adjoining restaurant was a letdown though. I wasn't expecting much and it wasn't. But the hotel was fine. Good value for money.

I had stayed at the Metro earlier this year and went back because of the price, the quiet, a friendly staff, and a nice breakfast buffet.

Very nice, clean room. Bathroom a bit crowded. Staff was courteous and efficient. Knew ahead of time about construction on street, so no surprise there.

The Good: - great location, handy to theatres, subway etc - comfy bed, quiet room, slept well - we were happy to get room with 2 beds for the nights we wanted, at short notice -- probably because it's not such a great value (see below) The So-So: - somewhat expensive, not especially good value - not well maintained considering the price - continental […] breakfast included but pretty basic and crowded, hectic, insufficient seating at peak times Подробнее

Good location, room very small but to be expected in New York

We have stayed several times previously at the Hotel Metro in the Manhattan garment district and on this occasion stayed for 7 nights. The hotel is primarily to be recommended because of its excellent location in proximity to subway lines, shoppingand eating venues and the theatre district There is a distinctive old fashion NY atmosphere captured from […] the moment you enter the foyer and as you enjoy the basic complimentary breakfast in the dining area which is served up until 11 am. Staff are very friendly and accomodating and the complimentary Wi Fi is appreciated. The gym is sufficient for basic needs and the adjoining terrace on the 12 th floor has an excellent outlook towards the Empire State Building. The two rooms that we had booked were quite small, particularly the one for my adult son but as we spent very little time there, their basic facilities were not an issue. Nice boutique , small rooms with big service. Nearby parking, close to business, shopping, good restaurants. Beats the big chains by far! Would recommend and will stay again.

The hotel room was comfortable. The Internet was reliable. The gym was modern and well equipped for a boutique hotel. There is a roof deck and 24 hour coffee / tea bar. The staff was attentive and friendly. I really couldn't ask for more in a business trip hotel. I will be back.

Even with New York standards-this hotel has tiny Rooms. Good hotel for a single person- needing basic hotel necessities- no splurging here. Location is very good, lots of shopping/dining nearby. Comp WIfi

I would stay here again. Not 5 star quality, but comfortable. Nice hang out area down stairs, nice gym. Great comfortable bed and bedding! A big plus. It was better than some 4 stars where i've stayed. GREAT staff. I asked to change to a room away from the street, I had to stay one night in the original room, in the morning I had to rush to a meeting. […] They moved my packed suitcases for me to my new room. Very nice of them. Great service. I interacted with 2 great and savvy gentlemen at the front desk. Hotel is a nice themed hotel, whimsical art deco/40s movie glam era feel. I checked in around 2pm and there was no water to the hotel until 5 or 6pm but was murky brown until 8pm. Couldn't use bathroom for 6-7 hours! Had room service around 3pm and tray not picked up until the next morning. Room was very nice, could have been cleaner. People were very friendly but service was weak.

Have stayed in NYC many, many times but the Hotel Metro stay made for a GREAT trip this time! It was really nice to get breakfast included. The location of the hotel is excellent...The only draw back is that the rooms are small. Will definitely be staying there again!

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. Having lived in Manhattan for 25 years I know a thing tor two about hotels (even had my office in the Waldorf for several years). The Hotel Metro was an extremely pleasant surprise. The service was top notch and curteous. The accomodations were excellent. The room was clean and very comfortable.especially the […] bed. i have been staying here for the past decade or so on many of my trips to NYC. The rooms are clean, bed are comfy--the neighborhood is great, away from the hubub of Times Square but with a subway station on the block. I think they have improved the overhead lighting--which had been a tad bleak. A real winner for the price in my book!

The staff was courteous and helpful, the room was clean and comfy, as was the bathroom. Very good location, right by Fashion Ave and the theater district. There was a parking lot on the same block. I enjoyed my overnight stay at the Hotel Metro very much!

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Metro. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, albeit not terribly scenic. The complimentary breakfast was convenient and the food good. It was an excellent value, as well. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to others.

This hotel shows great ratings but my exsperience was pretty bad. The room was old and faced a trash area, the elevator made noise all night long, the storage space was very limited to just your suitcase. Breakfast was played up a lot more than it was. Europeans would appreciate this hotel but not Americans.

I had booked a double room but checked in late after landing in NY at 1:30 in the morning. My room was prepaid but they gave me the worst room in the hotelI am sure. large room but two twin beds. Couldn't sleep very well in the twin so no real sleep for an important meeting in the morning.

Bed was lumpy and like sleeping on rocks. Safe did not work, wireless did not work, and staff not motivated to help you. Great location but I wouldn;t stay there again.

Friendly reception staff. Great breakfast and all day tea and coffee. Rooms good, linen changed frequently with daily fresh towels. Roof top terrace a bonus. Use of computers,check in on line, print off bording passess etc. Would stay again.

I considered Hotel Metro for my recent NYC visit largely because the rooms were comfortably sized (relative to other single rooms in Manhattan) and the location was extremely convenient, but what sold me was the free in-room wireless internet, continental breakfast, and around the clock tea/coffee. The hotel was not super fancy, but I liked that because […] it gave me the comfort of being home, not at a hotel. I liked the rooftop patio, gym, and wonderful front desk staff. I loved the convenience to 5th avenue, the shopping, the subway and busy street corners to quickly grab cabs. My only drawbacks were: The shower's water pressure reduced somewhat when on hot hot water (all the way) but most people probably don't take showers at hot as I like them! It's an older but renovated building, so this wasn't a surprise, and it wasn't that bad, just a little annoying as a hot steamy shower is such a luxury! Additionally, there was some construction on the street, and I was on the 3rd floor. I don't remember if the windows were double pane or not, but I could hear every cab, crazy person yelling, and early AM constructions -- which at least got me up for work in time! By night two I was more acclimated and it didn't bother me but night 1 was definitely a "welcome to the big city" one! The last annoyance was that the security boxes in the rooms are different than standard ones we're used to at most hotels, and not very intuitive on how to use. A simple instruction card in the room would've saved me from having to have the maintenance guy come to the room to teach me how to use it! Overall, I thought Hotel Metro was a great value and location with great staff and breakfast and wifi, and I would definitely stay there again. Подробнее

The windows do not block the noise of the ventilation at all. First I thought a window was opened. It's really annoying to have that noise in the background. Also the lights are noisy, I tried to keep the lights off most of the time. For the price of a night, some improvement could be done on this. I would definitely stay there again. But I would ask if I could have a larger room...The room was TINY! But it is New York :) I did like the delicious breakfast and the fact there was always coffee or tea... Nice staff too

Hotel Metro is in an outstanding location, walking distance from Penn Station. They've got a rooftop patio with a lovely view of the Empire Stste building. It is walking distance from a number of interesting attractions. They've also got free breakfast. The only downfall is the rooms are small, but that is to be expected for NYC.

Great location, the room was very nice and very spacious for New York.

This is our third stay at the Hotel Metro, and we've been very pleased each time. Rooms are not tiny as in other NYC hotels; the rooms are always clean; the complimentary breakfast was pretty good, and the 24 hour coffee/tea service was a plus. Furthermore, the rates were competitive. We would certainly come back the Hotel Metro again.
