Overall the front desk reception was not very helpful on our arrival..did not appreciate being asked for a $50 hold on my credit card when I had already paid for my room.

Great city centre accomodation

I thought that for the price the hotel was very nice and the room was very comfortable. It was definitely an experience I would repeat again!!

Great stay. Welcoming and informative staff at reception. Clean well appointed room for an overnight stay. Good location. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The Ibis was a great place to stay and was a good value. Prime location. Just about everything was a walk away. The rooms aren't too big but the are comfy.

They allowed us to park in their garage not only overnight but all day until 5pm when we left to catch the last ferry to Picton. Excellent internet service in lobby for free. Room was small with few amenities, but location was GREAT.

This was our third stay at the Ibis Wellington and we were very happy once again. It's right in the heart of Wellington and an easy walk to the main shopping areas and the harbour, Close to heaps of restaurants and cafes. Great price for a very comfortable stay.

Lovely two night stay at the Hotel Ibis in Wellington. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, moderate price, and great location. . . close to all the must see sights and fairly close to a Starbucks!

Hotel is OK. Friendly staff. Good central location, but the rooms are a bit bland. My first time in an IBIS - Very stark, maybe I am just not the demographic they are looking for ?

excellent service and perfect location! Rooms small but sufficient

The stay was good.It aws very inconvenient without a carpark. My room had not much view as it was opposite another tall building. The rest was excellent.

Small room and bathroom. Bench couch uncomfortable. Limited space between bed and wall to move suitcase.

This is a safe, comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Wellington. I was on ski trip on both south and north islands and needed a hotel between ski resorts. This was perfect for a few days to explore the Wellington area. The rates were excellent and the facility was quite comfortable. I'll have a more complete review in Trip Advisor.

The Ibis was located in downtown Wellington close to the ferry terminal and a short cab ride from the NSW museum and other attractions. Everything was great except that our booking for a 'King' bed ended up being two twins beds pushed together with a king size fitted sheet. We didn't realize this until after our second night and so did sleep very well. The room was huge and the staff were great and it was clean and in a great location.

Very happy with our choice of this hotel. The location is excellent - very central and walking distance to cable car, Parliament and Te Papa. Very helpfull staff, very comfy room. If other guests would just be mindfull of loud voices when they walk down the hall way very late at night that would be the only thing that dissturbed our great sleep on very comfortable beds. Thanks for a great 4 nights.

Hotel was in a great spot, we needed to book a car spot though and luckily there was one available. This is something to remember if you have a car. Close to everything, right in the middle of Wellington. Would definitely stay again.

this was our third stay in wellington over about a 4 year span--there are better and no more expensive hotels in the same area. The place just did not have a good feel-slightly unfriendly at check in to a cramped room-in our opinion not worth what we paid.

A small, compact room that has everything you need for a short stay. Pleasant and efficient checkin/checkout service.

Hotel location was convenient to the downtown city -- it was in the financial district, so we needed to walk a couple of blocks to get to where some of the restaurants were. Very good location for cable car, shopping, harbour, public transport. Not as many eating places as other areas but quieter which suited me better. Room was very spacious, modern and quiet. Overall, very good value for money. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

"Corporate" hotel (ie characterless) but clean and up-to-date. Location one block from esplanade, centrally located in town for sights and shopping. Lobby/entry area always seemed congested and uninviting. Rooms OK. Good Hotels.com value.

Stayed in the IBIS Wellington for two nights in June on a whirlwind trip of New Zealand. Arrived down on Overlander train from Auckland and hotel just a 5minute walk from train station and despite its closeness never heard a train once I was inside. easy to find, handy to shops, cafes, restaurants, transport. Very easy to stay at.

Das Hotel und das Zimmer waren im Ganzen sauber, jedoch wurde das Badezimmer nicht jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Die Dusche wurde nicht ausgewischt und die Toilette wurde nicht jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Zimmer an sich war jedoch sehr sehr sauber.

Jeg var veldig fornøyd med mitt opphold på Hotel Ibis i Wellington. Hotellet ligger fint plassert med gangavstand til sentrum.
