Ок, не ждите столиков на завтрак или горячего завтрака. Зато вы можете поесть у себя в комнате, т.к. там есть микроволновка, холодильник и кофеварка. Я думаю, что комнаты продают довольно недорого, учитывая место и парковку. Вокруг есть несколько продуктовых магазинов и хороший большой винный магазин на углу. Единственной проблемой была открытая парковка […] внутри отеля. Она расположена во внутреннем дворике на первом этаже, куда выходят окна комнат. Так что слышно, как люди проходят мимо окон, слышен шум моторов. Для нас тишина в комнате являлась непременным условием, так что было бы здорово, если бы на этаже, где парковка, не было жилых комнат. Я останавливался здесь несколько раз. Люди, которые вас регистрирует при заезде, всегда дружелюбны и готовы помочь. Комнаты настолько комфортабельны, что вам не захочется уезжать. ВНИМАНИЕ! Этот отель расположен прямо на улице «Polk», на ней такой невероятный выбор ресторанов, что это может быть опасно для вашей талии!

Отель очень милый, комфортная кровать. Очень узкая парковка, приспособленная под маленькие машины. Местоположение замечательное, также очень хороший сервис и в пешей доступности от многих достопримечательностей.

Мы останавливались на 4 ночи в отеле Nob hill. Если вы хотите быть в центре Сан-Франциско, это место для вас. Вы будете очень близко до нескольких ресторанов и кофеен. Вы можете спокойно дойти до пирса (причал «Fisherman» и т.д.), это займет минут 20 пешком, или можете воспользоваться канатной дорогой неподалеку (5 минут пешком) или сесть на один из […] автобусов, курсирующих по набережной (2 минуты пешком до следующего перекрестка). Если вы хотите пойти на площадь «Union», можно также воспользоваться автобусом или канатной дорогой, можно и пешком дойти, но это требует некоторых усилий из-за крутизны улиц. Хорошей зарядкой окажется и прогулка от пирса до отеля, который расположен на холме. Теперь о самой комнате. Комната была чистой, нормального размера и нормально пахла. Комнаты не совсем новые, но довольно комфортабельные. Большим минусом было то, что вы не можете посмотреть, какая погода на улице, т.к. вид из окон, выходящих в атриум, только на другие комнаты, а не на улицу, что также делает комнату довольно темной. Хорошо еще то, что есть бесплатная парковка во внутреннем дворике отеля. Но, поскольку она не окружена заборам, они заставляют убрать из машин все, что может оказаться на виду, что не всегда удобно, если у вас машина взята на прокат или в ней много вещей. Очень забавен бесплатный континентальный завтрак. У них нет зала для завтрака. Вам придется взять поднос и нести завтрак в комнату. Он включает апельсиновый сок, кофе, фрукты и датские булочки. Это все. Ни тостов, ни масла, ни джемов или варенья, ни вафель, ни каши, больше ничего. На мой взгляд, это ненастоящий завтрак, даже не континентальный. Это однозначной минус этого места. В рекламе сказано, что в отеле есть завтрак, но он очень ограниченный и нет места, где его съесть. Хорошее место в центре и есть парковка. Персонал был услужливым и дружелюбным.

Сложно побить этот отель по расположению и бесплатной парковке в здании. Многие отели заявляют, что у них есть платная парковка, но в рез-те оказывается, что она не в здании. Удобные рестораны, аптека «CVS» и много другое. Действительно тихо, учитывая что проспект «Van Ness» всего в квартале от отеля. Hotel was very clean and somewhat close to sites. We had a rental car which helped. Spaces for cars were small. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was ok, not the greatest. Overall a good hotel for a short stay in San Francisco.

This is a very good value for money paid. The hotel is very well located close to the bay and city center. Rooms are spacious, clean and cosy. Highly recommended!

IT was rude for them to be moving furniture and having construction at 7am. People are still trying to sleep! No apologies or anything!

I was somewhat nervous about renting a room in an independent hotel, but was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The parking area and hotel were very clean. Stayed here two nights on first trip to San Fran. Close to Polk St restaurants - excellent deli/cafe on the corner for the breakfast croissant. Place was well priced and clean. Rooms not overly huge but who spends that much time in there anyway. Convenience of parking was great as well. Good neighbourhood too...close to Lombard St - famous squiggly […] line... If I can offer some advice - rent a car! As quaint as it seems to rely on the cable cars to get around, the routes are limited and the lines can be horrendous! Oh the faces of those poor souls (all 300 hundred of them) waiting hours for a ride from Pier 39 after the dinner rush! And the hills...oh the hills...do your feet a favour. Hotel was quiet at night too which was great. Looked at a couple of places in town - Market St etc - and glad I didn't go there. Far too busy and so much noise! What's with the drumming!? Pretty good for price,only 3 blocks from cable car. Parking way too small. The breakfast was no good,go to a cafe which is nearby.If you want to save money it's ok but pretty old.

This motel is a great find and suited our needs well. Our room was clean, and very pleasant with a large flat-screen TV. Parking was included, tho the spaces could be too tight for large vehicles. It's one block off of Van Ness, so we had easy access to public transportation without the noise. One mile walk to Ghiradelli Sq. Other reviews gave me low […] expectations for the continental breakfast, but we were fortunate to get fresh pastries and bananas. The receptionist, when I checked in, speaks a barely comprehensive english, and she made me wait while she was on the phone trying to get someone to cover for her shift...but other than that she was nice and the hotel was nice.

This motel is an older style, but is still clean with hints of a late 1980's decor, not really bad though. The staff are very nice. However, Hotels.com shows the room as having two queen beds, but the room actually had two double beds. This still worked out for us since my wife slept with my daughter in one bed and I got the whole double bed for myself. […] So I was happy anyway and no complaints from my wife. Excellent location-close to downtown and in a lovely local neighborhood.Rooms are comfortable and large with amenities and have to be considered a good value because of the reasonable rates.Rooms can be loud if someone upstairs is inconsiderate.

Good hotel, great location. Rooms and hotel are very clean. Only strange thing is at check in. Feels like checking into a hotel in the 80's. I was almost expecting to be handed a metal key.

Small rooms, definitely book with hotels.com. Front desk wanted four times the regular rate for our closet.

Very friendly and helpful staff - free parking makes it an even greater value

Our group felt that the Nob Hill Motor Inn far exceeded our expectations based on the ratings and reviews we had read. Our room was very spacious, impeccably clean and well-decorated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom very pleasant. There are excellent and affordable restaurants nearby with a variety of international cuisines. This was a budget holiday for my family so I was not looking for marble floors. Nob hill motor inn is older but kept very clean. The staff were very helpful and were able to assist with all our needs. With basic breakfast included and parking this hotel met and exceeded our expectations for a 2 star accommodation. I would stay there again.

The hotel was fine, perfect foe spending the night in the city. However the website promised 2 queen beds, .and instead the hotel had 1double bed. Other than that the hotel was fine. Lastly the breakfast coffee was horrible

I was a bit uncertain when I booked the hotel online but trusted the reviews of others to guide my decision. I was pleasantly surprised. While you could almost miss the entrance (which gives a certain added privacy), once you see the sign you felt like this could be a delightful place. The hostess was pleasant and quickly registered us and we were given […] a room on the 3rd floor which had a partial view of the Golden Gate bridge and the surrounding view of buildings tucked into the San Francisco hillside. It was not bad. The parking for which we are grateful required some skill in staying between the lines and avoiding some of the posts but it was not an issue for us. The room was clean and we had 2 queens and a sofa that may have been a sofa bed but we did not need it. There was a microwave which came in handy and a refrigerator. There was an extra sink in the kitchenette area which also came in handy ( don't know if other rooms are like this) A small dining table with 2 cloth covered chairs were provided. The chairs were the only thing i had an issue with. They could do with some cleaning and I would recommend non-cloth hand rests. The bathroom door did not lock but that was not a problem for us and we forgot to let the hostess know about it (maybe i will call them). We felt safe and secure. We did not notice any unusual activity. The continental breakfast is very basic and is meant to grab and take back to your room since there is no space to eat in the lobby. There are a variety of restaurants all within walking distance and a CVS pharmacy about a minute away. We ate at the Tai Chi restaurant which is right around the corner on Polk and Broadway and enjoyed our meal at this very busy place with decent prices. Good deal and central to all attraction

Our second stay at this hotel. Great neighborhood with many restaurants and services just around the corner. Quiet neighborhood to sleep in after a busy day. Just around the corner bagels for breakfast, pizza for a quick lunch, for the beef eaters, a gourmet steak house with slabs of beef on display just up the block for dinner. .Peet's and Starbucks […] both just around the corner plus a short walk to bus to Union Square or cable car to the Embarcadero. Change in management since prior visit. The nice elderly couple has retired or moved on but the service was just as good. No complaints when we checked out an hour later than the 11 am time and very accommodating for an earlier than scheduled check in. Easy to get to just one block off Hwy 101 north to the Golden Gate. THe room was OK, parking is really tight. Something that was not disclosed by Hotel's dot com is the office wants a $25 "room deposit" . I have yet to see if the deposit will be returned to my credit card.

Advantage with this hotel is only location - Room is not clean (Dirty is a better word to use) - Microwave and Refrigerator in the Restroom (so even if you want to you cannot use them ... ???) - Parking is cramped ...you've to close all side view mirrors and sometimes even you don't have parking ...good luck with that ... - If you're driving by car […] ... My wife, 1&1/2 year old son and I stayed at the Nob Hill motor Inn for 8 nights, We found this place to be very convenient and at walking distance to all main attractions and restaurants,etc. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and quiet. The neighbourhood feels very safe. The common areas, including hallways, parking lots are also very clean and tidy, […] except for the elevator, that needs to be cleaned. Cheap and easy if you need a quick fix.

Good hotel, nice size room. great location with free car parking. Continental breakfast is instant coffee and a cake though but don't let that put you off. Worth a try.

The room I was in was small and you can tell they were inbetween CRT and Flat pannel technology. There was exposed wireing and the room was very basic.

The Nob Hill Motor Inn is centrally located and in a good neighborhood. I have stayed at this hotel several times (because of its convenience to my appointments, its proximity to good restaurants, and its often good rates), but I will NOT return. However, the non-smoking rooms (1st floor), are very noisy. During each stay, the guests in the room above me, have kept me awake until late hours. It always sounds as though a herd of animals is running across my ceiling. I am convinced that this problem is structural and not the result of inconsiderate or rude guests. THERE IS SIMPLY NO SOUND ATTENUATION MATERIALS BETWEEN FLOORS. During this stay, the management announced that they were installing flat screen TVs, but the money would be better spent sound proofing the ceilings. This is especially noteworthy since my room during this stay was next to the elevator (the bed was against the common wall with the elevator). Good room with fridge, microwave. Great location, can walk to many of San Fran's attractions (if you can cope with some of the steep streets!). If not, buses and trams are nearby. Felt very safe walking around this neighbourhood.

This was a perfect hotel for a family with three children, LARGE rooms!
