Мы были в Мельбурне лишь на уикенде, мы хотели попробовать некоторые популярные рестораны, а многие из них были расположены вокруг Чайнатауна. Моя жена и я остались в Ол Сизонс в Окленде, и хотя он был редким, но хорошим местом, так что мы выбрали Ол Сизонс в Мельбурне, что оказало абсолютно другое впечатление, кроме логотипа и цветовой схемы! Регистрация была очень легкая, лифты были быстрые, а наша комната была просторной (не как в Окленде) и очень чистой. Если бы мы и хотели что-то улучшить, […] то это были бы окна (сейчас они матовые) и душ (ОГРОМНЫЙ широко открытый душ, без какой-либо занавески!) Это говорит о том, что мы были в очень комфортном месте, полюбили район (большое количество шикарных, "скрытых сокровищ" ресторанов и большое количество бесплатного wi-fi), можно дойти пешком до станции поезда Саузерн Кросс, где каждые 10 минут вы можете поймать автобус до аэропорта. Мы ошиблись в том, что сэкономили один австралийский доллар и взяли трансфер, который был рекомендован отелем - нас посадили в вонючий фургон и около часа бы ездили вокруг центрального бизнес-округа в Мельбурне, буквально в нескольких кварталах от нашего отеля, перед тем, как нас доставили в аэропорт! В следующий раз мы воспользуемся автобусом с Саузерн Кросс. Ол Сизонс должен определенно договориться с этим сервисом доставки - моя жена шутил, что это больше похоже на бесплатный утренний тур по бизнес-центру в час пик! В целом это отличное место... Мы забронировали комнату на 3 ночи, и за все это время ее ни разу не убирали, до самого момента нашего отъезда.

ОНИ СКАЗАЛИ, ЧТО СЕЙЧАС ПРОВЕРЯТ НОМЕР, И, ВЕРОЯТНО, МЫ СМОЖЕМ ЗАСЕЛИТЬСЯ ПРЯМО СЕЙЧАС. И НАС СРАЗУ ПОСЕЛИЛИ В НОМЕР, БЕЗ ДОПЛАТЫ. Мне очень понравился этот маленький отель. У меня осталось приятное впечатление. Мне не в чем его упрекнуть. Обслуживание было на высоте. Расположение блестящее. В следующий раз остановлюсь здесь же...Спасибо!

Недавно отремонтированный отель. Предупредительный персонал. Недалеко до главных транспортных узлов. Комнаты чистые, уютные и тихие.

Конечно же не 5 звезд, не хватает соответствующих атрибутов, которых будут ожидать отдыхающие. Но, в отеле чисто, спокойно и отель имеет пятизвездочное расположение. Снова остановлюсь здесь.

Very run down and dated. Was like a rabbit warren trying to find the room. Comfy bed though.

We had a slight problem when checking in. The room was not as booked, but this was quickly remedied.

Good quiet hotel, no issues with the service or cleanliness. However the internet was terribly overpriced. Although the ad said "Internet included in the room price" it turned out it actually meant 15 mins on their computer in the lobby. The room wifi price was a bitter joke. Come on, it's 2012!

The hotel is in a good location. convenient to walk to the sights. The staff are friendly, the only thing i didn't like about the hotel was the AC and the view of our room. The AC was very loud so we rather it stayed off and window of the room faced the other side of the building so sunlight was very limited.

Hotel sufficient for price. Lounge and breakfast area nice. My only complaint would be the air conditioner was directly above our bed and was terribly noisey turning on and off with window rattling all night. 1.Best location I did nt spend any money for transport 2.All best spots are in nearby distance 3.Best breakfast 4. Rooms are bit congested 5. No exhaust fan in the toilet Overall I liked the place if you are going to stay most of the time outside the room it is a best option . I will stay there again, I had a great time

The staff are professional and polite. They are also very helpful and efficient.

Not good value for money. Only slightly better than a backpackers. They advertise an in room safe. What a joke!! There is next to nothing in the room, let alone a safe. Having stayed at around 20 different places in the Melbourne cbd over the last few years I can say this is the worst value,most depressing I have encountered.

My stay was ok as I was only there for 1 night. It was also pretty scary as well as I had been to meet a friend and got back to the hotel about 9.30-10.00pm and while standing at reception to ask a question of the attendant, who was not there at this time someone (a man) leant over the counter and took the cash box from behind the counter and proceeded […] to leave the building, cash box in hand. Luckily the attendant saw what was going on from some other part of the hotel and ran out and dragged the man to the ground, taking the cash box from him. I cannot believe that the attendant just let the man go and didn't call the police as he had just robbed him of his nights takings, a pretty considerable amount of cash. This hotel was part of a christmas present for my family to enjoy the Australian Open Tennis & return to relax. We were appalled by the condition, poor facilities, all included breakfast was an absolute "Joke". Had to beg to get the beds remade, even after 1 x bag was removed off the bed. - Clean and large for superior room - Little choice in breakfast - Only 15 min free Wifi in lobby is soooooooo insufficent - Noise ground floor at night(during holiday maybe) My friends stayed in the 5th floor and they didn't have any complain. While I stayed in ground floor, some heavy-object-moving noise at night did bother me alot!

Conveniently located but average room, bathrooms are small and dated. I've stayed here twice with friends as a place to crash late in the night, it's not somewhere I'd recommend if you're going to be in your room for long.

Great, central location within walking distance to all transport. Excellent service by staff, rooms cleaned & made up daily (fresh towels & extras no problem). Room was a bit run down but showers were good with plenty of hot water (3 women all washing their hair!) but no power point in the bathroom. We stayed at the KINGSGATE hotel in Melbourne for a week and were very disappointed with the standards of the hotel. The stafg were loevly and helpful, but this did not cancel out that the breakfast on offer for the 'continental breakfast' was of very very limited choice and very bland. The 'breakfast room' is like that of a hostel - the dishes pile […] up throughout the morning until a staff member eventually cleans them away. Our sheets were not changed once during a week of staying, I had to ask for them to be changed and then was given sheets to do it myself as housekeeping had gone home. The internet connection is terrible, wireless is NOT available in all rooms - there was no service in ours. The only option we had was to pay $10 for two hours for UP TO 100MB usage, although the service slows down after you have used 30mb - very expensive and impractical. Overall, I was very unimpressed by the hotel and would not stay there again - compared to other hotels at it's price point, it's very disappointing. It feels like little more than a hostel. Generally satisfied, but disappointed that room not serviced until very late in the afternoon on the Friday which made it difficult for us to get changed and get to a wedding. Stayed in this hotel for a few nights. It was such a conveniently hotel especially when my husband and I need to catch an early flight. A bare 5 mins walk to the Southern Cross station and the airport bus is there running on 24/7 to Tullamarine airport.

Though the location is convenience, but due to nearby pubs, we coulldn't sleep the whole Saturday night by the noise and loud music from outside. The room is decent but small.

Great place to stay nice breakfast great people. only thing wrong cheap bed was very hard. otherwise a great family place to stay.

We only stayed one night for the luxury. It was very satisfying. Good room, helpfull staff, good service. Only the view from our window wasn´t nice. Not that we mind.

Reasonable rate, good place, clean room

This hotel is perfectly located for getting around the city. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was small but clean. The air conditioner was not efficient . We would stay there again but book a higher standard room. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Really good rate for the night. Two people in a twin share. Ended up scoring a free feed for breakfast. Comfortable, clean, basic. EXCELLENT location. Strongly recommend!

These rooms are small (as we expected from the other reviews) but we normally are happy to use hotel rooms as a place to sleep and to shower and change. Sleeping is a hit and miss affair here as the sound of the trams carry to the room, the rubbish trucks (or some other very noisy banging and crashing thing) turns up about 4 - 5 am. We stayed a Thursday […] and Friday night with the Friday night sleep ruined by some sort of loud nightclub very close and extremely hard to ignore. The decor is, well, awful. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice (continental included in the room price) although the restaurant decor when with the rest of the building. Would I recomend it? Not really, as sleep is the most important thing I use a hotel for. Double glazing would probably fix most of their problems and a bit of nice paint put on by a professional. Take ear plugs if you use this hotel. The price was cheep and the location is very good. If you combine the location with a daily zone one metro ticket, Melbourne is open to you. I have stayed here in 3 different rooms. It is a cheap clean hotel and I enjoyed my time there, however room 214 I think and others on the 2nd floor had an annoying generator noise that kept me awake. I hope they sort this out.

The room we stayed in did not have any heat. We were given a small heater which helped a bit. Also on Fri and Sat night there was a lot of noise from a club close by. Were able to check in early which was a bonus. Very unusual decorating in the hallways. A bit run down but the bed was comfy and the shower hot. When you pay a little cheaper for accommodation you cant expect 5 star facilities.
