Everything was fine except for the details. The sofa bed mattress was in need of replacement. Very lumpy and thin in spots. The blanket for the sofa bed was brittle and old. 1) sofa bed: I had to call the front desk for the sofa bed's cover sheets. Sofa bed mattress was extremely broken but we checked in at 9:30pm and pulled it out at 1am at night so we just slept on it instead of complaining. 2) i forgot to grab my DsLR camera while heading out, but when i complained, i received a 'not found' answer. I recently stayed at the Springhill Suites in Gainesville, Fl. Although, I have stayed in many Marriott properties over the years, this was probably one of the worst experiences I have encountered. The two bed suite was tiny. There was little seating for my family of 4 in the area outside the bedroom. The bedding provided for the pull out sofa was stiff […] and uncomfortable. The towels were thin and stiff and not enough of them were provided for the number of persons indicated in my reservation. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate was so bad, not even my college age son would eat it! We would definitely not stay here again. Disappointing! Подробнее

This hotel was ok. Room wasn't as clean and comfortable as other Springhill Suites that I've stayed at. Staff was hard to find.

Right off hi-75, could not be easier to find. Great hotel with very helpful staff. Our 2 dogs somehow were not scheduled in the reservation and it was solved instantly to our satisfaction. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The only con (and a bad one) is no coffee- breakfast until 7:30am!

The lobby was very welcoming. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very tasty. The room was spacious. Hotel is in close proximity to shopping area and University of Florida. I will still here again.

We were quite satisfied. We had our three-and-a-half year old granddaughter with us, and we had a good overnight stay before we went to the Rain Forest the next day.

This hotel was very clean and the employees were friendly and efficient. The rooms are a little small, so I'm not sure how it would work out if more than 2 were staying there.

Would stay there again. Late check out is always nice so you do not feel rushed. The continental breakfast was one of the best and had a great selection of good food to pick from. Everyone was very professional and willing to help in any way to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and stress free. The cookies were delicious also.

Found the facilities to be in excellent condition. Breakfast was good. (Eggs less than perfect). Location close to I75. Variety of eating places close by. Stayed on both going to and returning from South Florida. Overall a pleasant stay.

Very comfortable, nice workout room. I did not use the pool, but the pool area was nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. It is very well located (close to I-75, shopping, restaurants and just minutes from the University of Florida).

Overpriced for the room. This Springhill suite rooms are not suites. The TV is positioned in an akward way to attempt to be watched from the couch and bed. The designed is flawed. I would not stay here again.

It was the worst bed I ever slept in my life. The mattress was so soft that I could not keep still on the bed. It looked those water mattress with half of the water.

The rooms are large, nice, and include a sitting area. However, the walls are very thin and the AC unit is very loud. The hotel was full of softball players who were very loud, running up and down the halls and yelling. Preferably, the hotel should have reserved a floor or area for non-tournament customers. Rooms were great nice little sitting area that we could watch tv after kids went to bed or work on computers. Only issue was the internet speeds were awful anywhere from 128k all the way down to 5k.

We found our room to be very spacious and clean. The breakfast was quite adequate. The only problem we had was the room next door was occupied by a family (2 adults and 2 young children) who arrived at 01.30 and didn't settle down until 03.00, they were talking very loudly and the children were running up and down the room).
