Super 8 - Davenport/Maingate South - Давенпорт

Моему друг и мне хотелось провести время вдвоем, вдали от соседей по комнате, но мы на мели. Я хотела сэкономить денег, но я страшно боюсь клопов, так что пришлось потратиться. Мы приехали. Персонал быстрый, номер действительно чистый, парковка удобная, до всего, что нам было нужно, можно быстро доехать и взять. Телевизор и сам отель действительно […] старые, но в целом - по тем деньгам, которые мы заплатили. Люди, которые жалуются, просто снобы, это не "Ритц", но за такие небольшие деньги - это лучшее! Ладно, разоблачение всех тайн… Парень, который нас регистрировал (Крис) был очень приятный/доброжелательный - к сожалению, отель несколько обветшал местами - номер далек от первоклассного, также, как и чистота, и удобства; довольно изношенные простыни, только 1 полотенце на нас двоих, ковер несколько протерт и грязен, на стенах кое-где недостает обоев […] (и трещины и т.д.)... Однако НЕТ клопов, в номере был холодильник и кабельное телевидение, и был даже средних размеров бассейн - чего еще вы действительно хотите меньше, чем за $50 за ночь (королевского размера кровать) включая налоги и сборы. Мы бы еще здесь остановились, по случаю, просто из-за удобства - я бы порекомендовал другим... это действительно зависит от того, чего вы ищете и ожидаете от дешевого отеля - если вам нужна куча удобств и действительно чистая комната, не приезжайте сюда. Однако, если для вас это не так важно, как просто поспать, приезжайте. Что бы я хотел порекомендовать отелю - приобретать новые простыни каждые несколько месяцев или около того - сильно протертые простыни и одеяла могут некоторых оттолкнуть; особенно если на них еще прожженные сигаретами следы (особенно если вы в комнате для некурящих) - и, пожалуйста, побольше полотенец. Маленький отель, но кажется просторным. Очень удобный и вдали от перенаселенных районов.

Отель нормальный. Номер, в общем, чистый и удобный, хотя несколько обветшалый - были трещины на стенах и под потолком, и обои облезли во многих местах. Он оказался дальше от Орландо и его достопримечательностей, чем я вначале ожидал. До Диснейленда, который был ближайшей достопримечательностью, 15 минут на машине. КРОВАТИ БЫЛИ СЛИШКОМ ЖЕСТКИМИ, И НЕТ ВКЛАДЫША НА МАТРАСЕ…

Это хорошее место для проживания из-за цены и близости к автомагистрали.

Лучшее, что есть в этом отеле, это администратор на ресепшн по имени Крис. Он очень профессионален и предупредителен и, похоже, получает удовольствие от своей работы. Что касается других администраторов - никакого профессионализма, кажется, они лучше бы поехали на сафари, чем работали в отеле. Моей первой проблемой было то, что у них кончились глазированные […] хлопья, и не было запаса. Они могли бы знать, что из 3 видов хлопьев, которые они предлагали, эти были самыми популярными, и иметь запас. Они кончились в субботу утром, и воскресенье утром их все еще не было, несмотря на несколько просьб об этом меня и других гостей. Во-вторых - где полотенца. Получение полотенца было равноценно выигрышу в лотерее. Как это нет полотенец - не дополнительных полотенец, но просто полотенец. Если вы принимаете ванну, вы рассчитываете на полотенца. Забудьте об этом. Мы пошли в местный магазин и приобрели полотенца, немыслимо, чтобы в отеле не было полотенец два дня подряд. И не только я жаловался на полотенца. Как я сказал, нужно благодарить бога за администратора Криса, который являлся глотком свежего воздуха в " Super 8". Не приеду сюда больше и буду рекомендовать только своим врагам. Подробнее

Staff extremely helpful. Close to I-4 and restaurants.

The room itself was ok. However the advertised wifi did not work well at all. Tryed all three of the connetions available and none would allow searches on teh internet with any kind of reliability. Since our goal in stayig at the hotel was for house hunting in the area this was critical for our stay. It's only 20 minutes away from Orlando attractions, so it was nice to be kind of away from Orlando, but not too far to make a visit to Seaworld. The room was good for the price, but the door of our room wouldn't open and the manager said we just have to push harder. Ok, that worked, but maybe try fixing the door. Overall, it was adequate.

There was a yellow puddle in the shower, there was also mold in the shower. White stains on the carpet next to the bed, cobwebs in the corner. We checked out the next morning.

This Super 8 has become my go to hotel when going to Disney. If all you need is a place to sleep at night this is the place to be. It's far away so that you get away from all the hustle and bustle. But it's close enough so that you dont get stiff when going to all the action of I-4. We were a large group of students who stayed in a budget place for a couple of nights while going to Universal studios (about 40 minutes drive from here). I know I have given poor ratings for this hotel but it was simply because I was not asked if it was overpriced. It isn't. The heater worked just fine and the breakfast was Ok. Very convenient to Reunion and Champions Gate. Inexpensive and doesn't disappoint. Not luxurious but good if all you need is a convenient place to crash. Relatively clean, friendly, easy check in. The Good: Location - less than 15 minute drive to Disney, Waflle House, McDs, various places for Breakfast. There are Walmarts about 7 minutes out, or smaller stores closer by, for last minute items you need. Rooms - they were clean, well kept, good enough for us Price - rates were good BreakFast - small simple breakfast, though we preferred Waffle […] House for our stay. The Minor Bad Noise - close to a Major highway, so, it does get noisy. However, we were so tired from Disney that we had no issues falling a sleep. Beds - they were a bit hard, but, again, nothing major, we slept fine day 2 & 3. Customer Service - they were very good to us, no complaints there. I just thought they didn't handle a situation with another customer right. The room door was broken from the get go the manager was too lazy to go and see what the issue was after we stood in the cold with a 4year old he was too busy looking at facebook. He told the clerk at the desk to go and figure it out while he made other customers wait for him to return for their check in. Hotel is saying Internet is provided but it looks not true. They have wireless Internet service but the signal is so weak that they can't cover the entire their facility. Even under the wireless Internet device, Internet was not avaible. And the wired noise from heater(or air conditioner) in the room was very extreme. It will wake you throughout the […] night. This hotel is convenient. The front desk was very helpful. It was close toeverything I needed and wanted to do. It is not perfect, but I did not expect perfect for the price I paid. For an overnight stay to another destination this hotel was convenient and nice. I would stay here again. I stayed here just 3 weeks prior.

Good place, close to parks, food restaurants, shopping and even the hospital is very close. Good rooms but they need to get new beds, sheets, blankets and towels. That would be great! Thank you.

This hotel was in a good location for someone who is just passing through. It was right off the interstate. There was no refridgerator in my room, but I was not there long enough to worry about keeping anything cold. I would stay here again.

Its was a nice place and reasonable price...

Decent neighborhood (several fast food and other restaurants), clean room, courteous service. Large outdoor swimming pool kept clean. Continental breakfast lacking-nothing but unhealthy prepackaged carbs. Plenty of free and open parking. Overall. Good deal for the $$.

We were in Orlando to celebrate my son's birthday. We just needed a place to shower and sleep that wasnt too far from the center of all the excitement. The hotel was a pleasant surprise.The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the fridge and microwave in the room were a plus. It was really easy to find. It was also very quiet. My mother […] wasn't feeling well but she was able to rest uninterrupted. The staff was excellent. We were all checked in and heading to our rooms in less than 5 minutes. It's 2 minutes from I-4, then another 5 minutes before you are in the center of everything. Sometimes when the price is so good, you hope for the best, but expect the worst. Well we were pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone that I know. I read some of the gripes and negative comments and was a little nervous. It was a great alternative if you have a conference at the Champions Gate Resort for those who are on a budget. It was only one exit off from it and was an inexpensive option for those who can't afford Champions Gate but want to stay nearby. I got in and out easily because it was right off the highway (I-4). Good room, nice location just off of I4, about a 15 minute commute to Disney. Definitely worth what I paid for it. I felt safe as solo traveler, which is a big positive for me!

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Davenport Super 8. The front office staff was EXCELLENT.
