Очень понравился отель. Обслуживающий персонал очень ведливый и внимательный. Завтрак предоставлен достойный - оценка по пятибальной шкале 5. В номере чисто. Местоположение отеля для меня очень подошло, все исторические культурные памятники находятся рядом. Спасибо за готеприимство и внимание оказанное мне и моей семье.

Отель очень удобно расположен - пешком и до Ватикана и до центра. Билеты в Ватикан смогут для вас заказать на ресепшене. Трансфер до аэропорта на МБ е-класса - 49 евро :) При этом билет на автобусе от аэропорта до Трайн-стейшен порядка 5 евро, от станции до отеля на такси - 20 евро. Лучше заказать завтрак, он вполне приличный.

Когда мы регистрировались в "Hotel Sant Angelo", у них ушло 45 минут на обработку документов. Мы забронировали две комнаты для четырех взрослых. Нас уверили, что это включает бесплатный завтрак. Мы также спрашивали насчет беспроводного интернета в наших номерах. Нам сказали, что позвонят нам в номер и скажут пароль для интернета. Через три часа я спустился […] на ресепшн и снова спросил про интернет. Мне сказали там, "парень" недоступен, и мне дадут пароль позже. Еще через два часа я спустился на ресепшн и, в конце концов, получил его, прождав, правда 20 минут. На следующее утро мы сели завтракать, и нам сказали, что для одного номера бесплатный завтрак включен, а для другого - нет!! Они хотели, чтобы остальные двое заплатили по 8 евро каждый за завтрак! Мы заплатили за номера одинаковую цену, но они захотели выманить у нас еще 16 паршивых евро. Мы встали и позавтракали в другом месте. Другая пара жила в гораздо более маленькой, несовременной, но, все же чистой комнате в основном здании. Мы выбрали отель "Sant Angelo", чтобы провести одну ночь в мае 2011, накануне круиза. Критериями выбора были цена и местоположение. Отбирались номера со средней оценкой 3,5 и выше. Наш номер находился не в основном здании, а через квартал на противоположной стороне улицы, что не было неожиданностью, учитывая несколько более низкую цену, чем в основном […] здании. Теперь уже точно не припомнить все детали нашего пребывания в отеле "Sant Angelo", но оно нам понравилось, а то, что мы не включили в пансион завтраки оказалось к лучшему, так как на другой стороне улицы располагались небольшое недорогое кафе и кондитерская. Беспокоил шум, похожий на звон посуды где то поблизости в поздние вечерние часы, а в остальном номер был тихий. Кровать была солидная и выглядела не очень комфортабельной, но на самом деле оказалась удобной и мы спали хорошо. Отель располагался удобно для посещения "St.Peter", но мы поехали туда позднее во время нашего путешествия. Днем мы гуляли на Piazza Nova и в ее окрестностях, которые находились недалеко от отеля. Единственным негативным моментом было то, что нам не следовало бы следовать совету сотрудницы стойки регистрации посетить ресторан на острове Isola Tiberina на реке Тибр, который он очень рекомендовал. Добираться до него из отеля было не очень удобно, хотя поездка на автобусе была интересной и еда нам понравилась. Недовольство вызвало то, что она ввела в заблуждение, сказав, что мы найдем там 20 или 30 ресторанов и сможем познакомиться со всеми меню, но особенно она рекомендовала последний из них, а на деле оказалось, что этот ресторан является вообще единственным в том месте. Отель находится прямо в центре знаменитых достопримечательностей Рима и находится примерно в 10 минутах ходьбы от Ватикана и Piazza Navona. Самая жесткая кровать, на которой я когда-либо пытался уснуть. Водопровод требует капитального ремонта, потому что производит много шума. Тем не менее, в номере был прелестный душ приличных размеров, которые в Европе встречаются редко. We loved this hotel and found it to be in a great location, close to metro stops (about a 10-15 minute walk) and within easy walking distance of many sights. They also had the best breakfast we had at any hotel in Italy (and we stayed in 12 different hotels on this trip!)

we stayed in a completely different building than the hotel reception which was inconvenient when we got there with all our luggage and baby stuff, we dragged everything up to reception in one building to be told we were staying in another building down the road. That was frustrating. They did help us with our luggage but it was still an inconvenience […] after traveling. The rooms are small and the shower head had a mind of its own which was challenging. The armoire door was broken, good thing my husband is handy. Overall it was fine but a little pricey considering all our obstacles. We booked 4 hotels through hotels.com for a two week vacation in Italy. This was the most expensive. The hotel Sant' Angelo was the pitts. It was misrepresented on the web site and by no means was a 3.7 rating. First of all the room was so small that when my wife went to the bathroom she would hit my feet when I was in bed. Next was the bathroom, It […] was a closet. The shower stall had mold in it and the shower curtain would not close due to a make shift curtin rod. There was only one(1) suitcase stand with no where to put a second suitcase. I also read something on the desk that was left out by mistake and it showed hostil prices. This hotel should be removed from hotels.com listings. When I complained at the desk I was told they were full and no other rooms were availble for my stay. It should have no star rating. The location is great - away from the touristiest areas yet within a 10 minute walk. Surrounding area is very pretty and fun to discover. We requested a quiet room off the courtyard but were given one right above the street. Great location, but the hotel is in a big building with the doors at each floor always open. It was freezing cold and the heat is kept off in the communal areas the entire time. Would recommend only in the summer if you are looking for a cheap accommodation in a central area of the city.

Hotel is truly situated near main attractions. It took 15-20 minutes to get to Vatican, as well as sights across the river. Colisseum was our 'furthest' sight, and we took the metro (1.50 euros one way). This hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. It is in a great neighborhood with great restaurants and cafes away from the tourists areas. The nearest metro is about 10-15 minutes away on the Red Line (Lepanto Stop). The hotel staff was absolutely fantastic. For Rome, this room was very clean and spacious. We would stay here again.

The staff is simply wonderful. There is no language barrier. The hotel is extremely difficult to locate in it's little alley, but most are situated as such. Initially, we arrived late via cab and were taken to the "annex" portion of the hotel. We booked the hotel instead of a hostel in order to have air conditioning. We spoke with the reservation clerk the next day and we immediately placed in the "hotel" portion with a very quaint room: mini-fridge, working AC, but a bathroom smaller than a cruise ship. Our linens and bedding were clean and fresh...no need for bedbug spray. Do NOT expect a hotel comparable to the USA...this is more of a clean dorm room. There are no amenities: no ice machines, no vending dispensers, no in-room coffee makers. We did have a mini-fridge and there was a computer in the hallway. We were here for 6 nights and though minimal in regards to US expectations, we were close to everything with wonderful restaurants nearby. Expect to walk plenty of steps, and there is no insulation regarding noise...forget your previous stay at the Marriott...this again, is more of a dorm room type situation. The breakfast offered each am by the reservation desk is wonderful, and the staff are welcoming and pleasant. The food is fresh, plentiful, and regardless of culture, accommodating to all. First day check in our room was not ready or some other reasons, they put us in a no air-conditioning small room in different building across the street (I guess this is the annexed room which were talked about in their booking website), […] for compansation they give us free breakfast next morning. It was middle of August, no air-conditioning meant very uncomfortable night of sleep. The room was very small, the room was provided with fan. TV remote wasn't working. Shower drain was flowing very slow. The breakfast was good and reasonable priced. The second night, they put us in a fantastic suite with 2 double deds with good air-conditioning. I wish I protested more about the air-conditioning at first night, because free breakfast is not enough to compensate the hot stuffy room and disrupted sleep. the hotel was too far from Termini, and from the subway stations too. On the first day we were told that for lack of power our room did not offer A/C service in 94F weather!! They offered a fan and free breakfast for our trouble.
