После недели отдыха на чудесной вилле в Тоскане мы с мужем сказали нашей семье "до свидания" и решили побаловать себя ночным кутежом во Флоренции. Таким величественным, […] что я не хотела уходить из номера, особенно после походов вверх и вниз по холмистым городам Тосканы, и дневной поездки с семьей во Флоренцию за день до этого для осмотра достопримечательностей и галереи Уфицци. Я сидела часами, наслаждаясь видом! Номер был не огромным, очень комфортабельным, довольно элегантным, а ванная комната была великолепна. Отель находится в нескольких минутах ходьбы от многих известных достопримечательностей. Я бы рекомендовала сходить пообедать в ресторан "Ristorante", находящемся прямо за рекой напротив отеля на террасе "Borgo San Jacapo", где мы сидели у воды и наслаждались вкусной, расслабляющей летней трапезой вместе с модницами, приехавшими в город на охоту. We loved our stay in Florence, and could not have selected a better hotel. My husband and I were traveling with my parents, and our rooms shared a small little vestibule/entry off of the main hallway, so it felt a bit more personal than having our hotel room doors right on the main hallway. Perfect location in relation to Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace area of town, but not walking distance from train station, if that is important. Right on Arno River. Very close to best high end shopping area. Included breakfast was outstanding, but I did miss having coffee available in room. Hotel staff was most helpful and accommodating.

This was our 5th stay at Hotel Berchielli. Great location right on the river and walking to any of the attractions in Florence is a breeze. Staff is great as is the facility. I would not think of staying anywhere else. Hotel has a fantastic breakfast room with staff and large selection of food.

The only thing I did NOT like was the room was way too warm. Had to leave the window open all the time. On week-ends it was noisy with the window open. Everything else was great. Loved the location.

Good location, helpful staff - especially those in the breakfast room. We had a room on the 6th floor and it was quite warm; we ended up opening the window. We had drinks one evening in the bar, but there was no bartender in sight - finally had to ask at the front desk and they sent somebody. Overall, a very nice hotel - good value for your money!

Central position about 50 metres from Pont Vechio. Ideal for experiencing the sights of Florence. Very comfortable room but no tea/coffee maker. Excellent breakfast provided- cooked bacon, egg, sausage. Fruit, cereals etc. Staff very pleasant and cooperative.

The hotel is located right along the River Arno, not too far from the Ponte Vecchio. Making it a good place to walk to everything...The Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, all the different piazzas, restaurants, shops, etc. The staff was mostly helpful. Big piece of advice....DO NOT drive a car in Florence if you don't have to. It's […] a nightmare. Parking is almost impossible. Take a taxi from the airport, which cost between 25 and 30 euros. And then just walk if you don't plan to leave Florence. We did rent a car and drove south to Siena and then further south to Montalcino and spent a couple nites in a B&B there, which I would highly recommend. But you don't need, nor do you want, to drive around Florence to get from place to place within the city. The breakfast included at the hotel was pretty decent. There's a bar off the lobby which is a nice place to hang for a glass of wine and get something to eat if you don't feel like leaving the hotel for a nite. The bartender that was there the whole week we were isn't Mr. Friendly. I don't know if it's a dislike of Americans or his general disposition, but he didn't go out of his way to be nice or offer great service. And we spoke moderate Italian. Overall, we liked the hotel. The hotel was excellent with helpful, English-speaking staff. Room was lovely and overlooked a beautiful courtyard and an old church. It was right in the heart of Florence but was quiet. The breakfast really set me up for the day and there was plenty of fresh food and coffee. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Staff and service was great. Had a beautiful room for three with our daughter and a great view of the river. Only complaint is the noise from the traffic in the morning but it was worth it to enjoy the view. I stay in hotels about 80 nights a year and this was a very enjoyable hotel.
