Что я могу сказать плохого об этом отеле: а) комната была довольно маленькая; б) гараж такой маленький, так что намного проще заплатить за на любой общественной парковке, которых вокруг много; в) вид из окна нашей комнаты был прямо на жилой дом по соседству . Отель находится на расстоянии около 3 / 4 мили к северу от торгового района Bethesda Circulator и полмили (возможно меньше) от станции метро, но есть бесплатная маршрутка (Bethesda Circulator), которая отходит от внутреннего двора отеля. В целом, средний отель в приличном месте. Абсолютно бесполезная парковка. Как результат - парковался через улицу за зданием на общественной парковке. Я не буду остановливаться здесь в следующий раз, но по тарифу, который я мог заплатить на короткое время в выходные, я не могу слишком много жаловаться.

Старый отель, комнаты небольшие, но хорошие, телевизор и холодильник в комнате. Если использовать он-лайн сервис бронирования номеров (т.е. hotels.com) то надо предварительно оплачивать кредитной картой до вселения в номер. Мне это не понравилось!

For the money, considering the cost of hotels in the DC area, this is an excellent value. The room and elevator are small and the towels are skimpy, but you get what you pay for. The location and price is all.

This is an old hotel. The biggest problem was with sound from neighboring rooms. The walls are thin. The room is small but adequate. The plumbing in the bathtub didn't work exactly right But, it seemed clean, the people were nice, the fitness center had decent equipment, the breakfast was included, and best of all the price was reasonable.

Parking was a bit difficult at times, but since it's in a busy city, I felt that we did OK. Overflow parking was reimbursed by hotel when using a metered lot across the street. After pricing nearby hotels, this one came out to be the best value. I would definitely book them for an upcoming stay.

I stayed at this hotel on 3/9/13 and while in my room at night keep hearing noises in the ceiling and turned out to be rats running in the ceiling. I called the front desk and they said sorry and will have someone check it out. I checked out of the hotel and will never stay there again.

The rooms are small and the walls are thin, letting in a lot of noise from neighboring TVs. Still, the location is excellent and breakfast was exceptional: a waffle machine, hardboiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, pastries, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc.

The hotel suited our needs. We stayed 3 nights the end of December. The hotel and rooms were clean. The mattresses were comfortable and slept well. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, they helped find near-by restaurants, answered hotel questions, helped with transportation to metro subway. The office staff was friendly there were no problems with the checking in and out of the hotel. However, the elevator was dirty and the carpets throughout the lobby area were dirty and tired looking. The lower half of the wall across from our room had caved in and the wallpaper was half attached with a piece of electrical tape in an attempt to cover […] the hole! There were drywall chips and dust all over the floor. The sink in our bathroom had a 2 inch thick layer of caulk around it seemingly to keep it attached to the wall and the hot water would come and go while taking a shower. convenient location. One bed rooms are very small, but the two-beds are fine. Maintenance and cleanliness are not great. Parking is limited, but there is a parking lot nearby, and a nice courtesy of the hotel is that they put money in the meters at 7-10 AM.

We wanted to stay close to Walter Reed as well as to a Metro station. The American Inn is older but well maintained. The Metro is an easy walk. The Inn does have a shuttle that will go up to one mile away. The breakfast was adequate & contained pretty normal hot & cold choices. We'd stay there again.
