В принципе, не так далеко и от исторического центра города - минут 15 пешком: для здоровых и молодых ничего страшного, а для уставших немолодых - можно воспользоваться автобусом. Зато бывшая пивоварня под окнами, в которой теперь ресторан - выше всяких похвал. В самом отеле никаих претензий: дружественный персонал, комфортное проживание, доступен приличный завтрак.

Были проездом в Дрездене. Остановились в данном отеле в связи с громким названием, кот. он носил в прошлом - Шератон. Всё неплохо весьма - чисто, аккуратно, вкусно готовят в ресоране. минус - нет кондиционера(

"Grand City Hotel Dresden (not Zentrum)"
Very good value for money, but it is NOT in the "Zentrum" at all. The public transports are reasonably convenient, anyway consider that most of the turist attractions of Dresden are in the opposite side of the city (Altstadt). A wi-fi connecton was available but it didn't work with my wi-fi device. For all the rest it's defintely a good hotel.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel in Neustadt. Big room, nice breakfast and walking distance to city centre. All this at a low price.

The hotel is lovely, staff are very helpful. One small problem, not easy to park your car in the evening, so best to park in the day time.

Excellent service. Very nice hotel - clean, place to put your luggage. Just there is no hotel parking - you have to search for a parking place around the hotel - street parking. Anyway very nice - the atmosphere is worth it too!

"Friendly staff, great breakfast and good rooms"
The location might not be what you consider to be the very center of town. The name can be somewhat misleading. Some of the staff show a very high degree of service level. The room was great though the bath was quite small. All was clean and the WiFi worked perfectly. The breakfast was a super deal costing €10,

"nice hotel, clean and new"
Enjoyed the stay here. The room was a little small for two people;however, the bathroom was unusually large. My only real complaint was that the no-smoking room opened onto a courtyard where people smoked, thus it was a smoking room.

This hotel is in a great location for city transportation. Its easy to access via city transportation from the airport, and easy access to downtown Dresden. The room was clean, and the staff was great. I really enjoyed the fact that they spoke English. My German isn't the best. "Excellent value and staff"
Stayed one night, hotel great excellent value and staff very helpful. The only issue I would raise is that they should offer free wifi in all rooms. They did have their own computer in reception which you could use and had free wifi.
"Hotel Centrum in Dresden"
This hotel was fine for a couple of days to get a look at Dresden. It was a long bus ride from the train station but within walking distance of Dresden's cafes and pubs, such as they are.

"Good Value in Dresden"
The hotel is clean and nice and reasonably priced for Dresden. It is easy to get to the freeway and the airport. Eat in Neustadt instead of going to Zentrum and experience a real Dresden neighborhood.
"A very nice hotel for a very reasonable price."
Very nice hotel located in an old beautiful building. It has everything one needs - the place is calm, the hotel is clean, the stuff friendly. And a welcome drink in a bar! The only thing that slightly falls behind is the location - but you can take the streetcar to take you downtown, Dresden is not to large. But it is a nice city worth visiting.

"Nice hotel"
The room is pretty spacy. It is very clean. We are not sure how is the location because we are not familiar with Dresden. But there is Buses and Trams stations right in front of the hotel. It was easy for us to go around the city.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt ohne Mängel. Hotel ist sehr gut zu finden. Parkplatzsuche kann am Abend in Dresden-Neustadt etwas schwierig sein. Hauptstraßenlage war bei geschlossenem Fenster auch kein Problem.

Hôtel très correct pour sa catégorie. Un peu éloigné du centre ville mais très accessible et bien desservi par le réseau de Tram. Bon rapport qualité-prix grâce à une réservation de deux nuits consécutives, malheureusement le petit-déjeuner n'était pas compris. Chambre très agréable et plus que propre (Allemagne oblige!) avec notamment une excellente […] douche chaude et puissante...Un vrai bonheur après une visite de ville agréable mais fatigante! "Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis"
Das Grand City Hotel liegt in direkter Nähe zum Szeneviertel Dresden Neustadt. Die Bahnhaltestelle zur Innenstadt erreicht man nach kurzem Fußmarsch. Unser Aufenthalt war problem- und sorglos. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte en Zimmer buchen, dass nicht direkt nach vorne zur Straße liegt. Aber ansonsten ist es ein gutes Mittelklasse Hotel.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen und die Wohngegend gehört bestimmt nicht zu den besten in Dresden. Dass wir irgendwo entlang der Straßen oder in irgendeiner Nebenstraße einen Parkplatz suchen mussten, war nicht so schön. Aber so war das Hotel sauber, neu renoviert und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch das Frühstück ist wirklich zu empfehlen.
"Faire Preise, guter Service"
Das Hotel selbst ist ok. Das Frühstück ist etwas dürftig. Die Straßenseite des Hotels könnte im Sommer etwas laut sein, da es sich um eine stark befahrene Straße mit Straßenbahn handelt. Das wiederum ist aber auch ein Vorteil (gute Anbindung an den Nahverkehr)

freundliche Umgebung mit dem Charme der "Alten Zeit" - aber sehr sauber und ordentlich. Prima Atmosphäre gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

"Eingangs Neustadt"
Praktisch um Abends wegzugehen, Strassenbahn sehr nahe. Preis-Leistung grundsätzlich gut, nur das Frühstück hatte ich mir nie geleistet, da es teuerer war als vier grosse Bier in einer ordentlichen Neustädter Kneipe.

Wer eine günstige UND gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Dresden sucht, ist hier richtig. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges 3-Bett-Zimmer mit Fenster auf den ruhigen (und riesigen) Innenhof, Duschbad in gutem Zustand.Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet kann man für 10 Euro dazubuchen, unser Teenager aß sogar umsonst! Vi fik et meget stort værelse på 5. sal med en fantastisk udsigt.

Dejligt hotel, fine og rene værelser, fredeligt kvarter, hyggelig restaurant i kælderen, med dejlig mad og fin betjening. Skal man på sightseeing inde i centrum af Dresden, er der masser af parkeringsmuligheder, dog selvfølgelig mod betaling.
dårlig belysning på væelse og manglende funktion af en lampe. ønskeligt med køleskab på værelset Middelmådig betjening i restauranten, hvor maden til 4 personer blev serveret efter ½ time for de 2 personer og ydeligere 50 min. senere for de sidste 2 angiveligt fordi kokken ikke havde forstået bestillingen.

Bra, trevligt och bekvämt hotel med bra sängar. Bar med pubmeny. Trevlig personal som pratar hyfsad engelska. Frukost ingår dock inte i priset, och vad jag såg uppmärksammades man inte på detta vid internetbokningen.
