Удобный отель по пути из Эдинбурга на север Шотландии. Очень приветливая команда, хороший , чистый теплый отель с бесплатной парковкой. Удобная постель, тишина позволяют прекрасно выспаться.Вкусный плотный завтрак Рядом ресторан, где можно прекрасно поужинать.

В номере чисто, есть все необходимое: фен, чайник, душ, телевизор, свободные розетки, удобная широкая кровать. Первоначально номер показался сыроватым, но несколько обогревателей (которые тоже стояли там штатно) мгновенно решили вопрос. Туалет и душ полностью раздельны, что очень удобно. Краны в раковине, правда, раздельны тоже. Очень интересным показалось, что туалет, душ и столик с чайником-чашками в номере оказались вынесены в пристройку-веранду, отделенную от основной комнаты застекленными внутренними дверями. Существенный недостаток у номера был только один: горячую воду довольно долго приходится сливать, прежде чем она станет, собственно, горячей. Ну, и некоторым предметам интерьера не повредил бы некоторый ремонт, но это уже мелочи... Завтрак очень вкусный, хотя за ним и приходится ходить в другое здание. До центра и основных достопримечательностей Эдинбурга минут 20 пешей ходьбы. В общем, для своего ценового сегмента отель не просто хорош, а очень хорош. Рекомендую всем.

Отличный отель. Провел в нём 5 дней. Тихое спокойное место вдали от городского шума. Хорошие номера, тренажерный зал и зал аэробики, 20-м бассейн, джакузи, сауна и турецкая баня, просторные душевые. Немного далековато от центра (30 мин на автобусе), но транспорт ходит очень хорошо, так что никаких проблем. Номер бронировал по акции, так что цена оказалась для меня очень привлекательной. Всем рекомендую

We liked the hotel in general beacuse of its location and victorian style interiors. But do not await much for the hotel in the major touristic city. Unfortunately there is no free internet and the furniture is rather old but looking on it as vintage makes feel better. Nevertheless all is clean and the bed is soft and comfortable. What I suppose to improve is to supply the customers with the small shampoos instead of huge bottle for all cases.

Дружелюбный, внимательный персонал. Удобное расположение в нескольких минутах ходьбы от Замка, Королевской Мили. Хорошая еда в баре. Великолепный завтрак. Бассейн, сауна в дочернем отеле через несколько домов.

Современный и комфортабельный; в пешеходной доступности от основных городских достопримечательностей. Очень большая и практичная ванная комната с отдельным душем и ванной. Кровать была ультра комфортабельной. Только одна обратная сторона: нет кондиционера.

Удобное расположение, недалеко от баров, ресторанов, в нескольких минутах ходьбы к Royal Mile. Мы попросили вид на замок, и мы получили его! Очень чистые комнаты, прекрасное обслуживание и вкусный завтрак с полностью шотландским завтраком с Хаггис. Очень хорошо рекомендован для семейных пар.
Нам очень понравилось наше пребывание, очень удобный номер и очень близко ко всем достопримечательностям. Персонал был эффективным и дружелюбынм, и, действительно, полезным в бронировании для нас билетов на местные достопримечательности. Я бы рекомендовал отель любому из моих друзей.

Этот отель настоящая находка с точки зрения качества, цены и местоположения. Мы останавливались на одну ночь, прежде чем переехать в более дорогой отель на следующую ночь из-за опоздания, но могли бы легко остаться здесь для дальнейшего проживания.

hotel is walking distance to everywhere, ideal location. breakfasts are well worth the extra price, rooms are well appointed, beds are very comfortable. agua restaurant was excellent, good range of good food. will use again without a doubt.

"ONE OF THE BEST"
Love staying at this hotel, rooms are fantastic and spacious, lovely shower and bath. Just across the grassmarket to the bars and restaurants. Reception staff very helpful. Can't fault this hotel.

"Great location in Edinburgh"
Location is great! Very convenient to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Several restaurants right across the street from the hotel. Hotel itself is clean and neat, but basic/no frills. Magda at front desk was VERY nice and helpful.
I've been to nicer 4 star hotels however the location is very central. We booked room only and found the price for breakfast very expensive (£13.50 pp) so we ate at some local cafe's instead.

Good location with car parking nearby and short (uphill) walk to castle and good choice of restaurants. Comfortable room, welcoming staff. Breakfast expensive but there are plenty of good cafes nearby offering breakfast at half the price.

The location is the highlight of this hotel, our room had a lovely view of the castle, the hotel is modern and comfortable. However the big downfall for me was cleanliness or lack of it. The mattress protector was dirty on our bed, there was a strong smell of fake tan in our bed and neither I nor my husband wear fake tan, When I complained to staff […] they changed the mattress protector and the bottom sheet but failed to change the rest of the linen so the smell of fake tan lingered on for our second night. loved this hotel, very clean and comfy, Rooms size was small for a supierior roombut truly was big enough, tv was great, shower and bath :-) Room services was great very help full staff Breakfast wasnt great and was very very expensive!
"Apex City -- Good hotel in great location"
This hotel was clean and well maintained. It needed a few updates and the shower pressure wasn't great but the staff were very friendly and it met our needs. It's located on the Grassmarket and I thought it was the best place to stay in Edinburgh -- it's so close to everything!

"Apex City Hotel Edinburgh - Quality and good price"
Good gotel and a competitive rate. Situated in a nice area convenient to pubs and restaurants. About 15 minutes walk from Princes Street the main shopping area. Breakfast was a bit disappointing so would recommend not paying for breakfast but eating out. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Four Norwegian guys had a great time in Edinburgh in this hotel. Perfect location for Night life and good dining. 5 minutes walk to georg street, princes st. and which is the best shopping area. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful old houses in the Grassmarket area. The hotel staff was very helpful with booking restaurants and recommending places. […] The drain in the shower was a bit clogged, which is the only reason I didn't give full score for cleaning. Breakfast was decent, but the selection wasn't very good. The only thing I found uncomfortable in this hotel was that the public areas of the hotel, i.e.corridors, sitting areas, were far too hot for myself and my husband. Great central location, still have not found it noisy at night even at the weekends. Staff do a great job and are very attentive. Free Wi-Fi is always appreciated and free newspaper - little things make a difference.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient to all downtown locations. Overall no complaints. Staff were friendly although slightly un-knowledgeable about the surrounding area! We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

"Great location but sub par for a 4 star"
Location: Fantastic and right in the middle of the Old Town. A few minutes walk from the castle, with ample pubs and boutiques nearby. For a younger less touristy drinking haunt, try Under The Stairs at the end of Grassmarket. The red door gallery is also great for alternative gifts and posters. Reception: I greeted the receptionist with "Hello how […] are you" and didn't get a reply back from the man. He was probably distracted moreso than rude, but that wasn't a nice introduction to the hotel. The girl that checked us out was lovely though. Room: We booked a superior double. Pros: Great sized room with comfy beds and pillows. Separate bath and shower, massive bathroom. Flat screen TV. Modern inside the room and outside. Quiet. Cons: This was for NYE so it was freezing. The central heating didn't work at all or was incredibly weak. The oil heater in the room was too weak at first so they brought another one up. Was not a good look! Room service was cash only for that night which we weren't informed about until the food came, lucky we had cash. We were on level 2 so were facing a concrete wall and didn't have much in the way of a view. Restaurant: Ok food with good service. Drinks were nice! Overall an ok experience but was expecting much more from a 4 star hotel. Подробнее
