Отель расположен в примерно в 3-х км. от торговых центров, магазинов и немного выше от линии прохождения автобусов, что не очень удобно. При этом сам отель достаточно хороший (отличные номера-апартаменты, очень чисто, внутри есть бассейн. Также здесь есть неудобстово в том, что здесь номера бронируются с субботы по пятницу. И если ты приедешь сюда по середине недели, то тебя в субботу заставят переселиться в другой номер, что не очень удобно. При этом про это нигде не озвучивается на сайте. И сотрудник не очень были корректны, когда нам про это объясняли. Также есть еще одно неудобство - на территории отеля есть рестораны и бары, при этом расплачиваться ты можешь только через ключ от номера, на который ты вносишь депозит в размере не менее 800 долларов США. Т.е. если ты приехал всего на 2 дня, то ты все равно должен внести депозит 800 долл. - это через чур. При этом ключ от номера - это обычная пластиковая карта (а не браслет на руку). Т.е. если ты хочешь за что-то заплатить в баре в самом бассейне, то придется с этим ключом плыть в зубах. Исключая все это отель очень хороший. Сами номера замечательные.

Live Aqua имеет действительно хорошее месторасположение. Рядом находятся 2 крупных торговых центра с ресторанами и развлечениями. Отель новый. Номера хорошо оборудованы. Пляж супер! Волны, конечно, есть, но купаться вполне возможно. Немного не дотягивает до общей планки обслуживание. Отель работает по системе все включено. И иногда на пляже или у бассейна нужно вылавливать официантов! Сами они не особо торопятся вас обслужить.

Неплохой чистенький отельчик эконом-класса. Удобен для кратковременных промежуточных остановок. Удобное рассположение до шопинг-центров и аэропорта. Вполне приличный завтрак. Любезный дружелюбный персонал Один недостаток - далековато до общественных пляжей а своего пляжа там нет .
Местоположение.
Отель Avalon Grand Cancun располагается на пляже в городе Канкун (Зона Канкун Отель), неподалеку – Торговый центр La Isla, Yamil Lu'um и Интерактивный аквариум. Курорт располагается недалеко от следующих достопримечательностей: Luxury Avenue и Гольф-клуб Cancun в Пок-Та-Поке.
Особенности курорта.
Отель Avalon Grand Cancun предлагает следующее: открытый бассейн, спа-ванна и детский бассейн. В зонах общего пользования предоставляется беспроводной доступ в Интернет (за дополнительную плату). Курорт с пляжем предлагает следующее: ресторан, бар у бассейна и бар в лобби отеля. По запросу: услуги консьержа, услуги по проведению бракосочетаний и помощь туристам. Отель понравился, номера хорошие, удобные. Но очень дорогие доп.услуги (интернет, бар, ресторан) и обслуживание на ресепшн ужасное - не слишком дружелюбны, подходишь - занимаются своими делами и минут через 5 вдруг тебя замечают. Заселили в номер часов в 5 вечера, хотя я приехала к 12 ч., а заселение отеля в 3 ч. То есть 5 часов пришлось ждать! Врут […] на ресепшн по поводу цен на услуги в сторону уменьшения, а по факту больше выходит (при нас скандалила американская пара), нас тоже обманули со стоимостью номера за ночь дополнительно сверх брони. Первый человек, с которым мы говорили на стойке приемной, был довольно груб. Мы попросили номер с 2 кроватями, которая оказалась номером с 1 кроватью и раскладывающимся дваном-кроватью, которую никто так и не пришел застелить, несмотря на то, что мы несколько раз попросили об этом. Хорошо, что все необходимое уже было в комнате, так что нам пришлось […] все это делать самостоятельно. Нам так и не удалось получить полотенца, потому что у стойки с ними никого не было. Они убирают зонтики с пляжа, когда солнце садится, и существует серьезная проблема нехватки шезлонгов. Хотя мы могли остановиться и в отелях по соседству. Парковка очень неудобная, и попасть в отель было практически невозможно из-за проблем на въезде. Если вы из числа людей, с ограниченными возможностями, даже и не думайте здесь останавливаться, только если вы не в состоянии подняться по лестнице. Я сюда точно больше не вернусь. Подробнее
"Отличный за такую цену!"
Отель имеет отличное месторасположение, приятный большие комнаты и очень хороший сервис… Единственными неприятными моментами были интернет (дорогой и не особо хороший), отсутствие лифта, так что проследите за тем, чтобы номер вам дали на 1 этаже…. За исключением этого, я бы посоветовал отель из-за его цены, расположения и оченб просторных комнат!

Персонал отеля был просто на высоте. Мы забронировали обычную комнату и как-то оказались в апартаментах типа 2-спальни 3 ванные комнаты. Определенно, отель стоит своих денег и имеет очень выгодное расположение.

Мы были очень довольны нашим пребыванием в отеле Avalon Grand! Стоимость была разумная, а комната оказалась красивой, современной, и персонал был очень любезным. Avalon немного меньше, чем Giant resorts, окружающие его, но это было именно то, что мы искали! Здесь чувствуется особая атмосфера, а архитектура была очень элегантной. Большим промахом было […] то, что в нашу комнату не было лифта, так что, если вы один из тех, кто нуждается в доступе к лифту, то стоит попросить выделить соответствующий номер. В некоторых башнях лифты, все же, есть. Бассейн и джакузи были лучше, чем я ожидал, а пляж перед отелем был просто отличным, со множеством стульев и даже несколькими кроватями полежать. Если вы ищете отличный отель, но не хотите тратить много денег, то я советую Avalon. Мы определенно вернемся. Маленький отель, хорошее местоположение, в точности то, за что платите. Из-за когдиционера воздуха в моей комнате было немного шумно.

Этот отель гораздо меньше, чем его гигансткие соседи на протяжении 11 км Зоны Отелей. Некоторым это понравится, некоторые предпочтут отель побольше. Сервис со всех сторон был хороший. Еда в ресторане была профессионально приготовлена и великолепно подана. Комнаты были чистыми и в хорошем состоянии. У отеля имеется 2 здания. Одно находится на берегу, […] а другое за ним, с ограниченным видом на пляж. Мы были в последнем, но это нас не беспокоило. На всем побережье Канкуна было лишь ограниченное число зон, открытых для купания. Но один из бассейнов прилегал к пляжу, так же как остальные бассейны большинства отелей на бульваре. Раздражающие факторы: Wi-Fi был дорогим. Бесплатный утренний кофе в комнату был доступен только один раз. Бронь оказалась именно тем номером, что мы и хотели, комната была готова, а персонал очень дружелюбен и внимателен. С нашей комнаты открывался сногшибательный вид, и мы были так счастливы!!! Персонал всегда был кстати, давая советы как нам лучше развлечься, куда сходить, еду, напитки. "Amazing spot and location!"
Excellent Hotel for the price you pay, awesome pool with an amazing view of tourquoise water in Cancun! I totally recommended.
Rooms were just ok and a bit outdated. Food and drinks were very expensive. Hotel staff was nice though.

When we checked in, there were a breakfast tray left in front of our hotel and it was still there on the floor after we checked out. I also found a TICK on the white mesh curtain! I was scared to sleep in the bed after seeing a TICK!

Absolutely wonderful boutique hotel in a great location in Cancun's hotel zone. Large, clean, well appointed rooms and bathroom with huge shower. Staff and service was great! Very friendly- from lobby staff, to pool bar, to room service, all hotel staff were amazing and all interested in making sure that your stay was pleasant! Room was great value at hotels.com rate. Room service meals were reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again based on service and value alone. Only turn off […] was the "members only" bar in the lobby where we weren't even able to buy a drink while we waited for the shuttle, but I guess if you're a "member" it's probably a nice benefit. Carlos works at the tour booking counter at Avalon Grand and was so friendly,helpful and sincere. He not only got me on a great tour to Chichen Itza but he also helped me with info on the public busing to help me get to Akumal from Cancun.

People with heart condition might not like it ,as first you have to go up a ramp and then 22 stairs.For healthy people its great.

The hotel is convenient to downtown Cancun, not as plush as some others, and understaffed, which must be poor management. Ate there in evening and it seemed only two working in dining room, rushing to fulfill service. Earlier, atio barman had to go upstairs to order and return with food requests. A house phone might have helped. Not enough guys to carry […] up luggage on arrival, etc. This seems strange as there are manadatory fees for luggage handling upon booking. "Nicer than expected."
I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. My room was not huge, but had a small balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. (I did have to request a room with a sea view at check in and they moved me.) The beach is great. They have towel service and beds on the beach made up with a sheet. They will bring you a beach umbrella and plant it for you. […] They were not pushy at all about tips and acted very grateful for them and were not upset when I didn't have cash to give. The beach area is clean and well maintained. The pool near the beach is nice and there is another pool that is more shaded and has a hot tub. I did not try that one, but it looked clean and nice. I ate most of my meals from the hotel restaurant and was happy with every dish. I especially liked the grilled chicken with steamed vegetables. Room service was reasonable and prompt and hot. The food quality was the same as in the restaurant. There is a breakfast buffet each morning that is pretty nice for about 7 bucks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed meeting many of them and a few remembered my name and provided very good service. The hotel itself is in good shape and I actually was glad to be in this one rather than the modern, sort of corny (in my opinion) looking mega-resorts. It has a nice traditional look and the interiors are updated and have nice features. I recommend this resort and would gladly return and may very well go back next year. Подробнее

I can't believe this place! RIGHT on the beach with two pools, plenty of beach chairs, a MC at the pool for entertainment and music and the people were incredibly nice. If you want to be near - but not "at" the convention center and the disco's and shops, this place is a great deal! Note that most ocean view rooms are in a building that does not have […] an elevator . . . but a huge, ocean front room with micro, fridge, BLENDER!!!, iron and board and a terrace overlooking the gorgeous blue Caribbean . . . !!!! Fortunately we got a room in the building they had an elevator, apparently not all of their "towers" do. The room was very clean, the front desk people were knowledgeable. No free wi-fi, but you can get free wi-fi at the food places across the street. It is right on the beach, like all the other hotels in the vicinity. "Just... OK"
Cons: A.C. was not functional when we checked in. Had to wait for maintenance to come, multiple times, before it was fixed. Food wasn't very good. Pros: Staff was nice and courteous. Beach was nice, and relatively uncrowded.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the beach- we paid a low price and never imagined a place as nice as this. Our room overlooked the ocean, staff was friendly, hot tub, 2 pools. So great and can't believe the price (I know this sounds like an ad, but we actually really loved it there! :)

I chose this hotel because it was relatively inexpensive and looked nice. The hotel is not as glamorous as other high end resorts, but it did a very good job for the cost. Front desk upgraded me for free and my room was great. Everyone is very accommodating and I had no problems. I would return to this resort.

"Easy local bus access"
Local bus stop is just opposite to the hotel,you can take bus instead of paying more for the taxis.Hotel room is clean and has an amazing beach views.No free Wifi.Restaurant prices are reasonable and food is good.

Great central location in the Zona Hoteleria, front desk staff were mediocre, breakfast buffet was great, small and charming. Stairs didn't bother us but did notice an elevator. Spent one night here after arriving to Cancun and before traveling to Playa del Carmen. Didn't really like Cancun. The hotel was ok by all means but is smaller than the surrounding ones and is really dwarfed by the one next doors. For one night it was good value for money but I wouldn't spend my entire vacation here.

"Great beach, modern décor & hard mattresses"
We upgraded to an ocean view, definitively worth it! The view is breathtaking. The rooms are spacious with modern decorations but the beds are uncomfortable, or at least too hard for my taste. The bathroom was ok; modern but not five stars. The vanity space was less than what I would’ve preferred and the shower had curtains instead of glass doors (no […] tub). The pool was nice with plenty of beds/chairs available (the hotel was not crowded). We did not eat at the hotel but ate at nearby restaurants…plenty of options. The service was good. Our only complaint is the noise from the hotel next door. Our room was so close and their activities so loud that we could watch their nightly shows (movies, dancers, etc.). We did not request to be moved to another room because my husband didn’t want to (we had unpacked already) so he just put pillows under the door. If you want peace and quiet before 11:30 pm do not stay in room 1402 or any other room that faces the pool of the next door hotel. Everything was really cool up until the point when me and my friend came in late along with other groups but me and my guess were the only ones stopped at the door to see if we were staying there. a larger group walked right pass as we were held up at the door.

Seleccione reservar este hotel guiada por todos los buenos comentarios que había leído sobre este, los cuales confirme en cuanto que es sencillo pero muy acogedor, buena comida, con excelente ubicación así como también lo es el trato amable de su personal. Pero me encontré con un detalle de vital importancia, y es que la habitación que me fue asignada, […] tenia una puerta que comunicaba "fácilmente", así tal cual, la abrí y entre sin ningún impedimento a la habitación de al lado (por suerte digamos estaba desocupada); reclame de inmediato a la recepción, porque entiendo que es una facilidad para grupos de huéspedes que lo deseen, pero de no ser así, ese se convierte en un punto muy negativo ya que le resta muchísima "seguridad y privacidad lo que se traduce a la vez en menor comodidad" (porque ademas se escuchaba todo). Sin embargo me ofrecieron cambiarme de habitación, me mostraron otras pero también tenían esa puerta, por lo que en conclusión me indicaron "... es que todas las habitaciones del hotel tienen esa puerta de comunicación...". Así en conclusión, por ese detalle lamentablemente (porque por los demás es excelente) no lo vuelvo a considerar para hospedaje en Cancun . Подробнее
"No es óptimo para viaje de negocios"
Lo recomiendo en caso de un escaparate en pareja un fin de semana que no quieras gastar mucho, su precio me parece justo. Para negocios no lo recomiendo, dado que no tienen internet inalámbrico, la telefonía local tiene cargo adicional y no tienen late check out.

Esta muy bonito el hotel, el servicio super agradable, muy serviciales todos, la comida buena.. Lo unico malo es que no hay ambiente, ni entrenimiento debería de haber minimo musica o algo asi, pero estan amplas las habitaciones con cocineta y todo. La verdad si lo recomiendo!
