Мне понравился этот отель, очень удобное расположение, легко добраться до улицы Истикляль. Номер маленький, но для меня это не важно. Определенно выберу этот отель опять.

Я был очень разочарован, так как во время бронирования я информировал, что мне нужен номер для 4-ех и я выбрал тип номера, подходящий для 4-ех человек, однако когда нас поселяли менеджер отеля мне сказал, что тип номера, который я выбрал для 3-ех человек, а не для 4-ех. Поэтому невозможно нас всех поселить в один номер и мне нужен еще один номер. После […] долгой дискуссии, он все-таки предложил поставить еще одну дополнительную кровать в номер. Я останавливался в Nippon Hotel в течение 5 ночей, тк посещал конференцию в ICEC. Отель расположен в очень удобном районе. От остановки автобуса Havas до отеля нужно перейти через дорогу и идти пешком всего 5 минут. Персонал на стойке регистрации очень любезен. Мне бесплатно одолжили адаптер на весь период моего проживания (я приготовил один, но он […] не подошел). Две бутылки воды были бесплатно. я не видел ни одного японца в отеле. хотя отель называется "Nippon Hotel". Некоторые номера называются "Самурай" например. Я забронировал номер в большой кроватью, но не получил его. Мне дали супериор, но он был небольшой и в нем стояли две двуспальные кровати. Я думаю, что отель врядли можно назвать 4* по сравнению со стандартами, принятыми в США и других странах. На сайте размещена предположительно фотография номера люкс, не супериор. Мне выдали смешную карточку на случай, если я захочу сменить постельное белье. На ней было написано маленькими красными буквами "Пожалуйста, оставьте эту карточку на вашей кровати, если вы хотите поменять постельное белье". Также на этой карточке большими зелеными буквами было написано "ПОЖАЛУЙСТА, НЕ МЕНЯЙТЕ МОЕ ПОСТЕЛЬНОЕ БЕЛЬЕ"! Так что не важно как вы положите эту карточку, постельное белье скорее всего не будет сменено. Также была карточка "Мы заботимся о вашем здоровье" и номер телефона на ней - по которому мужно было получить бесплатный совет о здоровье... Хмм.... Подробнее

Отель симпатичный, номера хорошие и персонал дружелюбный. Недостаток заключался в том. Что наш номер выходил окнами на улицу и площадь Таксим. Мы останавливались только на субботнюю ночь, шум с улицы и площади был слишком громким и длился до далеко за полночь. Istanbul is a magnificent city and we were mesmerized by its beauty. We were given a smoking room by mistake, the staff agreed to change it but we were tired to change it the same night. Not a four star -- fine and nice but not deluxe. You could hear the street noises and others opening/closing doors. No rooftop or outdoor space.

Our luggage became lost by the airlines and we had filled out the required paper work at the airport and had a reference number and telephone number that we were told by the airline to call on a periodic basis to check on the status of returning it to us, but the front desk staff offered to take on the task of contacting […] the airline and arranging delivery of the bags. On my second day I was asked by one of the supervisory staff carrying a clipboard if I felt my room had been cleaned satisfactorily, which was indeed the case. I only had a short stay here en route to somewhere else, but overall I was very happy with the room and slept well both nights. Overall a decent stay at the Nippon Hotel. The rooms appeared to be recentrly renovated. The bed was cnmfortable, but the pillows were Ikea-like and too bulky. Decent location near Taksim Square and the surrounding area was pleasant enough to relax.

Nice staff, clean room but very small. Pillows are uncomfortable but I liked the matress. Nice location near taksim with many nice bars and hotels. This did not cause any noise problems at night. I was dissapointed that the substantial room-rate did not include breakfast.

Very good location in Taksim square, near Metro, bustops and tramway within walking distances. I stayed in this Hotel over New Year Period. Hotel rooms were clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great position, close to all the action and also the Metro to get around. Will stay here on my next visit to Istanbul.

If you are an Elite Plus member, forget about this hotel - they don't even know what that means! There is no familiarity with the program - you will be treated as a hinderance more than as a VIP. "VIP Access" means nothing to these people. In fact, I was downgraded not upgraded - booked a king size bed and got two singles. After much negotiation they […] agreed to arrange a different room for me - they put two single beds together and called it a king. But the bed linen was still two singles! And my room had a window looking out to... nothing! The wall of the building next door, just one foot away. The hotel was in a great location. It was very clean and modern. The staff spoke good English. I arranged for an airport transfer with the hotel. It was very convenient but too expensive (40 Euros each way). That would be my only complaint.

I've been in 5 different rooms in the hotel, each smells of smoke and both of my own "non smoking" rooms has come with an ashtray and matches. This hotel is one of the best kept secrets of Istanbul. Location is phenomenal as it is walking distance to all major sites. The Havas Shuttle Bus from Atatuk Int'l Airport stops 50 metres from Hotel so do not take a cab as it costs 5 times more than the shuttle. The Nippon Hotel is in area full of other hotesl, and caters mainly to businessmen, it seems. The service there was excellent. They had arranged for a car to pick us from the airport (not at cheapest rate perhaps, but very convenient as our flight arrived late).
