Останавливался в этом отеле на 3 ночи в последний викенд Апреля 2011 г., чтобы встретиться с сыном, который последние несколько месяцев провел вне дома. В Университете. Я позвонил в отель и узнал, могут ли они поселить моего сына на несколько часов раньше, чем я прибуду. Мне ответили, что нет проблем. Чистый, простой туристический отель эконом-класса, вдали от проторенных дорожек. Если вы хотите быть вдали от центра города, где происходит все самое интересное, вам понравится это место.

Отличное расположение - меньше 10 минут пешком от жд станции Keleti, очень близко к трамваям, автобусам и т.п. Номера очень удобные и очень чистые. Хороший выбор свежей пищи за завтраком.

Мы очень хорошо знаем город, поскольку мы оба жили тут какое-то время. В этот раз нам нужно было удобное и недорогое место, и тратить время на хождение по центру города мы не собирались. Более того, мы путешествовали на поезде, поэтому нас очень устроила близость отеля к жд станции Keleti. Для меня с женой этот отель был лучшим впечатлением по-сравнению с другими отелями Европы, и цена отличная! Мы ждали завтрака каждое утро. Он был замечательным с отличным выбором блюд.

Отель расположен рядом со станцией. Но и далеко от центра шгорода, и освещение на улицах вечером недостаточное, чтобы прочитать карту. Хотя Будапешт спокойный и безопасный город, я чуствовала себя уязвимой одинокой женщиной, гуляющей в ночи. Автобус ходит двумя кварталами ниже Еврейского квартала, который расположен рядом с отелем, но я не смогла его […] найти до последнего дня. Так что убедитесь, что вы проверили это и у вас есть хорошая карта, не та, которую мне выдали в отеле, и фонарик, чтобы рассмотреть ее в ночи. Завтрак был хороший с разумным выбором мяса и сыра. плюс хлеб и джем. Нет прачечной. Некоторая реновация происходила прямо при мне. Помещение столовой было неплохим, но ему не доставало оригинальности. Hotel was welcoming and calmed us down after a tiresome walk brought on by a taxi at Keleti trying to overcharge us - we walked away from the taxi to the hotel which was fairly close by. Bus tickets on sale proved to be a good facility though at one point these ran out. Bar was good value - minibar less so. Breakfasts good quality and varied.

The hotel service was pleasant, although the cab service they called for us cheated us pretty badly and it was a strange situation. The hotel has a bit of a bad smell in the hallways but otherwise it was nice. We had to have the windows open all four days because the room was like a sauna. The bathrooms could use some re-modeling or re-caulking at a […] minimum. The rooms are much smaller than the photos on this site. I would say they are tiny, we had to move rooms because there wasn't room for two medium suitcases. The breakfast is nice! The neiborhood is sketchy, but Pest is pretty sketchy! For its category, the Star Hotel is definitely punching above its weight. Although the rooms can be small and there is not much wasted space, most things you want are there - including a Minibar which I found out., too late, was fully stocked ( the previous two hotels had empty minibars so I got used to the idea of drinking outside ). There are plenty of nearby bars, though the barmaids can be a bit racy - one seems to celebrate her birthday every day ( and in another bar the girl seemed anxious to be rid of us so that she could adore her boyfriend ). if you ignore the very nearest restaurant, there are many good restaurants around, The Star can provide you with bus tickets at cost price ( make sure you buy enough ) and its staff are charming and capable. This hotel’s web rating 3.8 is not reflecting the reality… I have reserved this hotel for 4 nights and left it after the first one (room 105). I’m sorry to say, but this hotel suffers from the following: 1) Unconvertible beds – very used mattress and hard pillows cased us to wake up with pained neck and hard back. 2) Badly maintained – stains on the […] carpet floor, molds in the bath room, agley toilets. 3) Unpleasant neighborhood – near the hotel we saw many drunks and homeless people. I’ve could stay the rest of the nights if at least we had a decent night sleep. .. The managers offered us to move to another room; my answer to him was that I presuming they don’t offer two kinds of maintenance standards… Four days before, we stayed at a nearby Baross City hotel also a 3 stars rated hotel and we were very pleased. The hotel was very nice. Maybe for someone it's a bit far from the historical city center but as I had a car I didn't feel any inconvenience. Btw, there're lots of parking space around and the streets are very quite. So, you shouldn't worry about your car. The only problem that we had was WiFi network. On third floor I couldn't connect at all.

I was really happy with the 4 days I spent in this hotel. It was more than worth the price paid. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff was always helpful and nice to us. The location is close to the train station so it is easy to get to/from the hotel. Not extremely close to the center though and that makes a little bit harder to go out (and […] come back) there at nights by public transportation. But a cab is not that expensive in Budapest anyway! My stay in Star City Hotel was very enyoyable. It is in a good location close to public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Personnel sympathique mais ambiance déprimante dans un hotel avec une déco moderne, mais complètement obsolète. Chambre minuscule avec énorme tache sur une moquette fine et dure. Lit de 80 cm de large avec néon qui clignote malgré la lumière qui est éteinte, nuisances sonores, chaleur étouffante dans les chambres. Hotel em uma localização ruim , sem estacionamento, Não recebi o quarto das fotos , não era cama de casal e sim 2 camas de solteiro unidas ! Sem dizer q a recepcionista disse q nao haveria problema em deixar o carro em frente ao hotel , resultado MULTA ....

Čistý hotel za dobrou cenu, vhodný k přespávání. Za nabídnutou cenu docela dobré.

I would not recommend to go to this hotel because all beds are in real bad shape (mattresses are deformed and worn out). Even though everything was clean and the hotel fare was cheap (including a decent breakfast) it is not worth staying at a place where you can't have a good night rest. Star is ideal for a short stay in Budapest, especially if you want to be near the Keleti train station.

Aardige receptie, prima ontbijt, alles netjes en schoon en degelijk. Prima hotel voor een prima prijs in Boedapest.

Et meget flot hotel hvor billeder af hotellet stemmer overens med virkeligheden. Rigtig fint hotel. Morgenmaden er alsidig og der er meget at vælge imellem. Venlig betjening. Ligger 10 minutters gang fra Budapest Keleti Hovedbanegård, hvorfra man kan komme til hele byen med metro, sporvogn og bus.

Leistungen für den Preis in Ordnung. Zimmer sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, Dusche mit Schimmelbefall, WC : undicht

Käsittämätöntä että vielä löytyy kolmen tähden hotelleita jossa kokolattiamatto, se oli muhruinen ja läikykäs ja ilma oli tunkkainen, matto pois niin hotelli on ok!!

einfache schlichte Einrictung, für einen Kurzbesuch völlig ausreichend. Frühstück nicht üppig aber ebenfalls ausreichend. Rezeption sehr freundlich.

Qualité / prix bon, situé a quelques mètres de la gare À pied un peu loin du circuit touristique Petit déjeuner inclut c'est très bien. Le personnel de la réception s'exprime en anglais ce qui nous facilite les choses.

insgessamt ist das Hotel recht gut- vor allem wenn man vom Bahnhof "Keleti pályaudvar" (Keleti pu) aus den Aufenthalt startet!

Ett centralt beläget hotell. Mycket enkelt inrett, bra frukost, bekväma sängar, och mycket trevlig, hjälpsam och språkkunnig personal. Kort sagt, noll lyx, men enkelt och trevligt.

Helt okey rum, lite snål frukost buffé. Bra läge!

bra service och skönt med engelsktalande personal fick mkt tips på restauranger och house klubbar av personal som bokade taxin åt en

Vanntrykket i dusjen var utrolig dårlig, gikk nesten ikke ann å få ut noe shampoo av håret, endte med å vaske håret i vasken.

Das Hotel liegt für Zugreisende aus dem Westen sehr gut, da es in unmittelbarer Nähe des Ostbahnhofes gelegen ist. Daraus resultiert leider das Negative, nämlich "Bahnhofsgegend". über das Hotel selbst kann man viel Positives sagen, sehr freundliches Personal, sowohl tagsüber als auch der Nachtdienst. Sonderwünsche werden nach Möglichkeit erfüllt, Hilfsbereitschaft […] groß geschrieben! Frühstück ist ok, könnte aber um die eine oder andere Kleinigkeit erweitert werden. Gute zentrale Lage, die City ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Zimmer sehr ruhig mit Blick in den Innenhof.

O Hotel é bom no geral, as unidades habitacionais são amplas e limpas. Os produtos do mini bar não são caros. Mas o café da manhã não me pareceu muito bom pois não havia frutas; e os travessieros são ruins. Mas fica perto de metro e da estação central de trens (dá para ir a pé, como 4 quadras). hotellet ligger tæt på banegård/busterminal, meget gode busforbindelse til og fra centrum. god morgenmad, gode senge, rent og pænt, også i resturant og reception, gode spisesteder lige i nærheden

Hotel prima, service prima . Kamer OK , alleen kstruimte beperkt.Ontbijt goed, alleen eieren altijd steenhard gekookt, kan beter . Badkamer op zich ook OK, aanmerking hierop is de grondlucht , daarom hebben we dag en nacht de ventilator laten draaien waardoor het na drie dagen stukken beter was. vermoedelijk is de kamer langere tijd niet gebruikt

Grunnen til at vi valgte dette hotellet var a) pga. pris og b) pga. at den var nær togstasjonen vi skulle på tidlig neste morgen. Hvis du skal videre fra Kelete Palvyudar med tog, kan det absolutt anbefales, men utover det var ikke strøket et spesielt koselig et, og det tok sin tid å komme seg ned til de pene fasilitetene i Budapest, forsåvidt et stykke […] unna nærmeste metrostasjon i tillegg. Bon hôtel, propre mais très simple et assez loin du centre ville. Rapport qualité/prix satisfaisant, mais si vous cherchez un bel hôtel dans lequel passer un peu de temps, le Star City vous décevra.
