Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik - Кеблавик

The rooms are pretty basic in this modern looking but overpriced hotel, with the quality being more like an average motel room in the USA. There are only 2 or 3 channels on the TV, one of which is the BBC. The breakfast is also basic, rather dry and boring, with some cereals, luke warm coffee and sliced pan. We flew in on the Red Eye from NYC and got ZERO sleep the entire way. Landed at 6am, got to the hotel at 6:45. it's only a 15minute ride from KEF! I made arrangements beforehand, they had a room waiting for us. We ate breakfast (great restaurant downstairs!) and hit the sack for about 6hours. Woke up, caught the afternoon bus to the Blue Lagoon and […] luxuriated for the rest of the day. Came back, grabbed a drink at the bar and walked to Kaffi Duus (another great restaurant, right down the street). We had a quiet night, the beds could have been a bit softer, but I still had a great sleep. Also, The FlyBus to Reykjavik pics you up out front. If you need a hotel near the airport and the Blue lagoon this is the best choice. Rooms are comfortable, bed is nice, TV is good, food is good. Take the bathrobes provided over to the Blue Lagoon when you go and save money. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful! It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Our stay was short, so I'm not sure there was much to do in the location, but it was a 5 minute cab ride to the airport (they also offer a shuttle 2 x's a day) so you can get anywhere from there. The hotel was supposedly renovated in 2007- if so it has seen a lot of hard living since then. It advertises a sauna, fitness room and hottub. Well there is a hot tub in a corner of the basement and the other 2 don't exist according to the desk. The only place to eat is in the hotel restaurant unless you want a sandwich from the gas station next door. […] Otherwise it is 15 minutes to a restaurant or grocery store. We needed a hotel near the airport and this ticked the boxes, free shuttle to the airport at the early hours of the morning, really clean and comfortable room. Not an awful lot to do nearby but some decent places to eat nearby.

Very utilitarian hotel but fine for the purpose of being close to the airport for an early departure the next day. Nice, helpful staff. Easy to park, gasoline and the small downtown located in immediate vicinity. Our plane arrived late at night from the UK. Reykjavik international terminal is at Keflavik, half an hour from the city so this hotel, which is only a few minutes from the airport , is very convenient .. and there's someone on Reception all night. Great as a stop-over with en suite facilities just as you would expect.

Trevlig personal, stilig matsal där det serverades en god frukost. Rummer kändes väldigt "gammalt" Badrummet var som att kliva in i en plastkonteiner, golv och väggar var plast ?

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, monipuolinen aamupala, hotelli piti olla kuntosali, joka osoittautui yhdeksi kuntopyöräksi, ja allasosasto, yhdeksi epäsiistiksi porealtaaksi..

Kalliihko, siihen nähden, ettei aamupala kuulunut hintaan. Palvelu oli hyvä ja sijainti erinomainen lentokenttään nähden.

Hotel location perfect for travellers with early departure from Keflavik Airport. Highly relevant instead of 45 min. morning ride from Reykjavik Centrum. Relatively short distance to The Blue Lagoon - a fantastic experience, that one must encounter, at least once in your lifetime. Das einzige, was uns an diesem Hotel gar nicht gefallen hat, war das Badezimmer. Man hatte das Gefühl, als ob man ein Dixi-WC betritt. Die Sauber- keit war allerdings super, nur das Plastik-Gefühl war fürchterlich.

Hôtel tout à fait convenable. Un reproche : la piscine de l'hôtel était déjà fermée le samedi à 16h00 ... La qualité de la salle de bain est moyenne
