Мы останавливались в этом отеле на майские праздники. Отель расположен рядом с метро, вокруг много магазинов. Номер хороший, удобный, большой, светлый, чистый. На завтраке большой выбор блюд. Наше пребывание было весьма комфортабельным. Рекомендую его для проживания в Стокгольме.

Были в этом отеле с 27 по 30 мая 2012. В отеле только завтракали, в принципе завтрак обычный, без изысков, правда были блинчики, что не совсем обычно для Европы., однако, подносить еду и тарелки не успевали. Все быстро заканчивалось. Вечером купить еду можно либо на ресепшн (салаты, бутерброды), либо рядом есть магазин, работает до 10 вечера, там можно купить что-нибудь и погреть в микроволновке. Довольно близко до метро, хотя и пешком до центра 25 минут. У нас быльхороший вид - на воду и на гоод на противоположном берегу, утром удалось даже сфотографировать восход. Общее итог - отель вполне подходит для кратковременного отдыха в режиме нахождения в нем утро-поздний вечер.

Although the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant/bar, there are hundreds of great restaurants, bars and cafes right on your doorstep in the Old Town. There’s everything from Michelin-starred restaurants offering unique culinary experiences, to classics and local taverns with great food for just over SEK 100, all just a short walk away.

Staying in this Hotel is a real experience in itself. But if you’re looking for more, there’s some great entertainment close by. Just step out onto the street and take a stroll along some of the Old Town’s narrow alleyways, where you’ll find a huge variety of shopping and culinary experiences. The Old Town, with its origins from the mid-13th century, is one big living museum. Sweden’s National Cathedral, Nobel Museum and Royal Palace with its over 600 rooms, and an array of museums/exhibitions including the Royal Armory, are less than 500 meters away. Don’t miss the guard-mounting parade and daily changing of the guard at the Royal Palace. If you’re heading for the Palace, you could head past Järntorget, where you’ll find Mårten Trotzigs Gränd, Stockholm’s oldest and narrowest alleyway, just 90 cm wide at one point. Don’t forget to visit Riddarholmen with its amazing 13th century church.
In the evenings, there are plenty of bars and pubs all around, including the legendary Engelen/Kolingen and Stampen jazz club. If you’re trendier, Slussen/Södermalmstorg, is just 300 m away, which opens onto Götgatan with its exciting strip of restaurants and bars right the way to Medborgarplatsen, with Söderhallarna (including its indoor market) and plenty of outdoor cafes during the summer months.

The Royal Palace, a Buckingham Palace look-alike, is in Stockholm's Old Town. While the royal family chooses to live in Drottingholm, about a half-hour away, there are tours available, as well as the changing of the guard. The area's major thoroughfare, Västerlånggatan, is a pedestrian area filled with shops and restaurants.

"Хорошо, но шумно"
Расположение отеля безупрпречно для прогулки по Стокгольму; в нескольких шагах от Метро, вокруг отличные места, где можно поесть, и магазин. Рядом "Palace" и доки. "Прекрасный отель"
Необычный отель в центре Старого Города. Приветливый персонал. Исключительный шведский стол на завтрак - без сомнений самый качественный и самый лучший выбор вкусной и здоровой еды, который я до сих пор встречал на завтраки, которые предлагают в отелях. И это включено в цену за номер. Не терпится приехать снова.

Завтраки были лучшие. Одна женщина смотрела за всем шведским столом, который был прекрасен: Шведские тефтели, солёная рыба, яйца, бекон, фрукты и т.п. В первом номере не работал ТВ. Нас переселили в другой номер. Кровати были провисшие в обоих номерах.

"Fantastic place to stay"
Cannot fault the hotel. Friendly service on reception, great recommendations for places to eat. Good sized room and well appointed bathroom. Location perfect, walking distance to everywhere, or, if your feet are getting a bit tired close to the metro to move around the city. Great selection at breakfast. Free tea and coffee in the afternoon.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The staff was very friendly, service was great. The hotel was very charming. Everything was fine, except perhaps for a bit too soft bed.

Overall very impressed with the hotel. Great location and rates seemed reasonable. Rooms were small but very nice and comfortable although bathroom a little cramped. This hotel is very close to the T-Ban subway, which makes the entire city easy to get to. It also sits in Gamla Stan. The island of Gamla Stan is very quaint and historic. "Hotel Rica Lovely"
My only complaint was that our room window opened on to a VERY busy street with partying going on until well into the early morning. However, EVERYTHING else about this hotel was THE BEST!!! I would DEFINITELY stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel in a perfect location. All parts of the city can be reached easily by foot from here. "clean, welcoming, convenient - tho tiny rooms!"
well located in Gamla Stan, minutes from the metro stop, and a nice building with nice people. Good breakfast, fast wifi. Room was tiny, and had very few places to put clothes (basically, some hanging space), but that's the only minor complaint. Good value in an otherwise expensive city.

I would definitely go back to the Rica Gamla Stan. Perfect location on a quiet street in the old quarter, but just steps from lively restaurant and cafe life on a summer evening. "Great room for the money"
Hotel was located in the old part of Stockholm and was not easy to find. It was old, but well kept, and a little noisier than I'm accustomed to. Although the building is brick, the inner walls were a bit thin, so noise was easily heard in the room. Small, but comfortable and good price for a short stay. I would rate it about a 3.5 star rating.

I stayed here for 4 nights while attending a conference at the Convention Centre. The hotel is small but comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. The rooms are all individuaI with no feel of a chain hotel. I had a lot of noise the first night of my stay and they moved my things without a problem to a different room. Ett intimt och mysigt hotell med en romantisk aura. Frukosten var god och hade ett stort urval. Kommer definitivt tillbaka till detta mysiga hotell som ligger centralt till och i hjärtat av Stockholm men ändå lite undanskymt.
"Koselig"
Et veldig koselig hotell lokalisert sentralt i Stockholm i gamlebyen. Et lite hotell med historisk sus i veggene gjør dette til en spesiell opplevelse. God frokost, gode senger og et moderne baderom gjorde at vi trivdes.

Dette var et veldig fint hotell med hyggelig betjening som tok god i mot oss selv om vi reiste med hund. Hotellet er sentralt plassert, fint innredet og med deilig frokost. Det eneste man må være klar over er at det er midt i et ganske aktivt utemiljø. Vi var der er en helg og det var ganske bråkete utenfor på natten.

Kjempefint og gammelt, ærverdig hotell midt i gamla stan. Veldig variert og god frokost, deilige senger og puter (!) og flotte mennesker bak resepsjonsdisken. Til og med bra beliggenhet for en morgenjoggetur på Södermalm. Vil man bruke litt ekstra penger på hotell, anbefales dette!
