Poor service. The first room I was given was occupied already, then the second I couldn't get in despite going to reception 3 times to get the key card reactivated. Rude staff who greet guests with a 'yes?' instead of a 'good morning'

Room is not worth it for what you paid. Dirty and unpleasant room.Cable TV sucked and very poor internet connection.

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It was located perfect walking distance, less than half a mile & was extremely convenient to walk to & from our concert. The only thing is arriving at the hotel from the 101 was a challenge as there was a ton of traffic on this very busy road. But that's what you get […] anywhere in LA for a location like this! The room was clean & the staff was friendly, we would definitely stay here again although probably only if attending an event at the Hollywood Bowl simply because of the traffic in this area. The reason to stay here is it's location. Close enough to walk to Hollywood Blvd or the Hollywood Bowl. I've been to better Best Westerns and the service at this one was sub-par. However the room was clean and everything worked. The air conditioners are noisy, and parking is a hassle, in their lot they had trouble finding me a space.

Made reservation same day everything was perfect and within walking distance to everything Hard Rock Cafe, Wax Museum, shopping I would recommend this to anyone

Free parking appreciated, spa was great in evening before last run on Holywood blvd. Didn't charge me for roll away. Location perfect, by Walk of Fame and by the highway just up the street. Great place to stay, very nice staff, very clean. A touch of high prices, but middle of the road for the area. Easy walk to Hollywood Blvd. and all the touristy spots. Not much parking in the area,don't leave at night because there might not be a place left for you when you get back. We've stayed here a few times when we've needed to stay a night in Hollywood because the location is great and the price is very reasonable. Bed not very comfortable and we wouldn't dare step foot in the tiny pool. You get what you pay for. But I will say it seems to be the best choice of the inexpensive hotels in the area.

Best Western Hollywood Plaza on 2011 NHighland Ave is the place to stay when you want to see action in Los Angeles...the hotel is located in walking distance of almost all important attractions and the Hollywood BOWL is also close by...staff is very friendly, and the food in the restaurant is good...highly recommended to stay there

Nice hotel for the price, within walking distance of lots of attractions. Not the place to stay if you have a large vehicle. Parking is very tight and has low clearance. The cab of my truck cleared the covered parking by only an inch. Very scary! Otherwise a nice place

I have stayed at this hotel before. I was suprised it was nicer this time than before. The only real complaint I had was the carpet really needed cleaning. My white socks were really dark brown! Staff was great and I will stay there again.

good location for sightseeing trips in hollywood and Universal. Clean and comfy room, needs a little updating from outside of the rooms but very clean. Good value for money for Hollywood

just behind hollywood. within walking. less than 5mins to kodak theatre. there's gd eateries & a supermarket nearby. location was excellent. close to highway 101 too, can get to the city area or suburd easily = )

The parking is on the ground floor under the rooms that start on the second floor. The spots are very tight and the staff parks perpendicular to the guests and blocks you in. Then the workers get upset and refuse to move their vehicles when you complain about not being able to get your car out! Hotel has outside doors in scary area. Tiny rooms, minimal parking.

Our stay was great, walking distance to everything. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.Hotel is clean and staff is courteous.

Clean and comfortable rooms and staff pleasant. But did not know that all charges had been paid for through Hotels.com and so had extra charge for the 2nd room I booked. Had to go back to Hotels.com after my trip to get this rectified.

I've been in dozens of Best Westerns, and this one is the most well-kept I've seen. While being right off a busy street may be an issue for those who aren't used to city driving, the walkability was great and we hardly drove the whole weekend. My girlfriend enjoyed having a real hair dryer in the room, and I enjoyed the free WiFi.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is not fancy but it serves the purpose if you want a good night's sleep close to the action. The staff was friendly and the restaurant attached to the hotel was great for breakfast!

I will be staying at this hotel everytime I have to stay in Los Angeles. Excellent location, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was top notch. Our room smelled like an ash tray and all the tv channels are fuzzy. Also, we kept having to get new room keys because they only worked once. The people at the front desk were pretty helpful, but nothing special. On a better note, I did get the towels I asked for right after I called for them, so that was nice. The hotel was ok. A little overpriced. The food from the downstairs restaurant could have been better.

The outside does not look like much but the inside is nice and clean. I would definitely stay again. The hotel is close to Beverly Hills walk of fame. Great location.

We didn't have very high expectations because the room rate was much lower compared to other hotels in the area but I was proven wrong. First off, the parking is a super plus. Our room looked like it was recently remodeled so we had a beautiful flat screen TV, updated furniture, and modern bathroom. There was also a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. Our room was in the far back so we were far away from any street traffic and had a window on two walls. The back window had a view of trees and a really nice nature area with some private houses nestled inside. It was actually really lovely. One thing I didn't realize was that it's a motel layout with the room doors leading directly outside. During December it got a little chilly and without the air conditioner running heat, it gets cold without having any central heating system. The lobby area is small but there are two working elevators (one at front in the lobby and one in back to service the parking area) and a computer WITH PRINTER for guests to use. (There is free wifi for us to use in our room but we didn't have a printer.) This ended up being very handy because we bought discounted tickets online for Madam Tussuad that needed to be printed out along with several directions to various locations in L.A. that we could print out in the lobby in 2 minutes. There's also a little restaurant next to the lobby for guests to order food. I tried their mozzarella sandwich one evening and 2 egg breakfast another morning both of which were very tasty. Fiance & I were heading over to LA/Hollywood for some X-mas fun. The hotel is within walking distance of Hollywood & Highland the walk of fame and the El Capitan Theater.

We loved this hotel!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and pretty big. Free parking was a + and most of all we felt very safe here. The location is great and the room looked clean, but it smelled weird. The window wouldn't open, so we had to keep our door open for a few hours to get some fresh air in. The guy across from us was doing the same thing, so I'm guessing all the rooms have this smell. Parking was free. The TV had poor reception.

Close to Hollywood Blvd., which is where we wanted. Felt safe in hotel. Very clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, would stay there again.
