Astoria - Барселона

Для зимнего отдыха отличная гостиница, для летнего отдыха я бы не рекомендовала - далеко от моря, на метро ехать с неудобными пересадками.

Отличный отель твердые 3 звезды. Мебель в номерах достаточно новая, есть минибар, сейф, бесплатный wi-fi internet (пароль брать на ресепшн). На крыше маленький открытый бассейн (работает с 10 до 19), очень удобно освежится с утра. Персонал вежлив, комнаты чистые. Удобное расположение, 7-10 мин. пешком до метро Dioganal , рядом много кафе и ресторанов, […] 10 мин. пешком до улицы Passeig de Gracia где располагается огромное количество магазинов и бутиков. 2 остановки на метро до площади Католонии и Бульвара Рамбла. Будте очень осторожны если передвигаетесь на метро, орудуют целые банды карманников, при входе в поезд зажали 4 человека и разыграв сцену ограбили. Ковровое покрытие в прихожей было испачкано и нуждалось в чистке. Что СТРАННО, так как ковер в комнате был чист. Матрац на кровате был мягким. Персонал был услужлив.

Простыни жесткие. Я думаю, что я мог бы подпилить ими ногти на пальцах ног. Не вытирайтесь слишком быстро банными полотенцами. Они такие же плохие. Сотрудники на стойке регистрации Лиза и Девин (Испания?) очень услужливые.

Мотель был чистым, и персонал учтив. Мне только хотелось, чтобы в их континентальный завтрак было включено что-нибудь еще, кроме кексов и апельсиного сока /кофе.

Мы искали отель в качестве отправной точки, чтобы увидеть национальные парки в районе бухты. Цена была справедливой, и номер был чистый. Постельные принадлежности были немного потрепанные, небольшие следы слезных подтеков на покрывале и одеяле. Но в целом персонал был очень гостеприимным, бассейн в чистоте (без джакузи) и номер чистым. В номере убирали […] в номере через день, но это не страшно. Didn't realize that there was a 14 euro charge for breakfast even though I asked. Too pricey for cold food. No metro stop near. Room was beautiful but the lighting was really poor. Very very clean.

the room was at the top of the hotel with uncertain fire escape. the "fitness room" was a joke. the hotel was nice and the staff and breakfast great. the roof view was fantastic.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times.

I paid extra for a superior room but the one I was given seemed pretty standard to me. Considerable noise of traffic also.

Hotel is clean and convenient to central of Barcelona. Though not in centre itself (of which the hotels are small and expensive); this hotel is close to the underground, bars and restaurants and walking distance to all the main sites. I didnt get on the underground bar getting to and from the airport. Would return.

This hotel isn't in the central shopping/ramblas area but then there's more to Barcelona than the obvious. It's surrounded by good restaurants, bars and stylish shopping and close to the underground. This is not a hotel to enjoy your time in the room as the space is limited to a bed, a small desk and a closet. The room was clean but the air-condition was not the best. We were there in the winter and can easily imagine that the heat would be a major issue in the summer. The bathroom was big compared to the room, clean and of a high standard. The […] location is GREAT with Rambla la Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia within two minutes walk. The Metro is also nearby; bringing you to all what Barcelona has to offer. The staff was friendly, and for Spaniards their English was well above average. For the purpose of a few days of shopping and sightseeing in central areas of Barcelona, this was a great alternative. At a price well below average for the area and an acceptable comfort (the bed was hard..), we have no problem recommending this hotel for a few days in Barcelona. The hotel is very conveniently located, being close to several metro stations, to la diagonal which is a main street of Barcelona. Hotel was very nice. Room was ready when we arrived and staff was very friendly and helpful. Always ready to answer questions and give directions. Location of hotel was very good. Lots of F&B in the neighborhood and metro station Diagonal is a 5-10 minute walk. Would definitely stay there again.

The Astoria is a well located hotel in a pleasant area of Barcelona. The rooms were a touch on the small side, but clean, tidy and well presented. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in the city.

I booked this hotel literally the day before we arrived, looked good on the website, but once we got to our room we where given a twin but changed quickly to a dbl, which had the worst view ever had, brick wall, asked for no smoking but could smell it inside the room aswell as out!!! Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and it was fine. Staff are helpful, roms are clean. About thirty minute bus ride to barcelonetta beach. Didnt have breakfast so couldn't comment on that. Overall not too bad. Expect to use transport to get around.

Stayed at the Astoria on a very hot few days in Sept. The hotel has wonderful A\C throughout the lobby and in the rooms which really was essential in Barcelona . The room was spotless clean with a good sized bathroom with a good powerful shower. Towels changed daily. I had booked a single room but got a double for same price. Room has a mini bar ,safe […] and LCD tv , though the only English channel is CNN but then I didn’t spend much time watching telly. There is a small rooftop pool and a sun lounge area to chill out in the evening if you wish. It’s about a 7 min. walk to the metro (Diagonal) The breakfast was 11 Euro extra so just used the many little cafes in the area for breakfast. Much cheaper .Front desk staff informative and speak good English. You can book the Tourist bus from the front desk which is really handy as the lines get very long down town. The only small down point is that as the hotel is in the upmarket Eixample area it gets a little quiet (ie dead) in the evenings….There`s restaurants and bars a little walk away on Psg de Garcia and Rambla de Catalunya but not much around the immediate hotel.. Great hotel! Nice location just a block from the main Diagonal blvd. The hotel is very clean and the management is very attentive and very courteous. We were so pleased with this hotel. We were just a short taxi ride from the cruise ship port - 35 Euros.

Very small room, no swimming pool.

Surrounding neighborhood is nice. Kind of central location, you can easily get to main attractions by bus, but you have to ask. Staff is helpful. downside... We traveled with kids, and like all european hotels, very strict about how many can stay in a room when checking in.

Very nice and comfortable hotel in a convenient location. Rooms were small, but this is typical in Europe. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Astoria Hotel in Barcelona. She has a bad knee but was able to walk from the hotel to the Las Ramblas area where we caught hop on-hop off buses around town. First off Barcelona is just an expensive city and also a very touristy city so unfortunately hotels aren't cheap. Based on the price I did expect a little more. For what I can figure we were placed in one of the smaller rooms of the hotel. It was still nice but when we arrived the water wasn't working in the bathroom. There were many different nationalities as guests at the hotel and the staff does speak enough English to help you out and point you in the right direction. It is in a nice location several blocks from a metro station, some nice restaurants and some shops a block or two away as well. There is a sex shop two buildings down which was a bit odd to me but Europe is a little more liberal with those things and might be a bit more common in a city. There are no vending or ice machines. None of these things are deal breakers to me and have slept in less luxurious hotels...but the price didn't seem to match the quality for me but then again the American dollar is worth a lot less than the Euro. I arrived in Barcelona as a young, solo woman traveller with 2 full days for leisure exploration of the city prior to work conferences that were to be held in the Diagonal Mar region of the city. Thus, this hotel was perfectly located for me to enjoy strolling the northern neighborhoods of L'Eixample and Gracia before switching to my work appointed […] hotel on the opposite side of the city. Diagonal Metro stop was nearby in order to reach other parts of the city quickly, but I most enjoyed shopping on Passeig de Gracia and especially Rambla Catalunya. With gelato in hand from a corner store, I enjoyed the famous architecture of several of Gaudi's buildings as well as beautiful facades and wrought iron balconies of the neighborhoods apartments. The hotel itself is clean, safe, quiet and nicely appointed. I personally enjoyed returning in the afternoon to siesta on the lounge chairs by the small rooftop pool before heading back out in the evening for a cafe or late dinner. My twin room was small, but all that I needed for my short stay. I am not one to spend much time in my room -- a clean, soft bed (yes), a good tub/shower (yes), safety box (yes) is all I really require. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was not bad overall but it was not close to the Metro station it was a bit of a walk and for the price it seems like it should have been closer to all the attractions Like Gaudi and all the shops and. its not bad at all but its a bit far from all the excitement

Good hotel with good personal. there is food shop at 5 min walking from hotel. it is important, because it's difficult to find something to eat at the restaurants in Barcelona (expecially for muslims).

Hotel was great as was the staff whom were very helpful. Hotel was very well placed with a very short stroll to many bars and and places to eat. The roof terrace was a lovely place to have a drink and relax. I would recommend this hotel to all.

The hotel is in a great location - 15 minute walk to La Rambla and Placa de Catalayuna. My wife and stayed at the Astoria in April and had a wonder time. Over all the hotel is excellent, the only thing is the size of the room and selection of TV stations in English, other than that it was well worth the money and a great value.

loved our stay here and the restaurant next door has good paella too. Lovely hotel and service, friendly and helpful.

The Astoria is located in the eixample district of Barcelona. The hotel is a short walk from two metro stops and one of Gaudi's famous apartment blocks.
