Первое и главное: искать и найти по адресу невозможно. Из всех туристских карт, ул. Санта Мария Маджоре указана ТОЛЬКО на карте, выдаваемой системой ROMA PAS. Если вы приехали сами, то от вокзала надо идти по ул. Кавур до собора Санта Мария Маджоре и, минуя его, тут же на площади повернуть налево и войти в первый переулок направо. Маленькая улочка от […] площади до ул. Кавур (она выходит на неё под углом) и называется в честь собора, который рядом. Номер дома зашкаливает, но это вполне в духе Рима и не стоит особенных размышлений. Славный отель, практически идеальное соотношение цена-качество. Завтрак скромный, но по итальянским меркам, вполне приличный. Если окна выходят на улицу, то с 6-ти утра доносится шум проезжающих машин, усиленный эхом узкой улицы. Номера, выходящие во двор имеют балконы! Можно заказать именно такой номер. В моем номере на 4-м этаже были проблемы с душем - вода текла излишне вяло и совсем не хотела настраиваться по принципу горячо-холодно. Администрация разводила руками. Отель имеет свой дворик, где в тёплое время можно позавтракать и покурить, если это кого-то интересует. Дверь-в-дверь хорошая пиццерия, где вкусно кормят Результат: экономно, идеально расположен (5 мин до вокзала), чисто и даже удобно, если селиться окнами во двор и на невысоком этаже. До любых римских красот легко доходила пешком. Колизей - 10 мин, Капитолий - 12 мин, Треви - 12 мин, Испанская лестница 15-20 мин., пл. Навона - 15-20 мин. Гулять приятно, архитектура впечатляет ВСЯ! Номер неплохой, но ОЧЕНЬ маленький, и я не был впечатлен расположением. Чувствовалось немного небезопасно, хотя у нас не было никаких проблем, и отель располагался слишком далеко, на краю Парижа. Номер был хороших размеров, и персонал отеля был услужлив. Это было наше шестое пребывание в Париже, и мы поняли, что мы получили хорошее соотношение цены и качества. Хорошее расположение с большим количеством ресторанов поблизости. Около 20 минут ходьбы до Триумфальной арки, 30–40 мин ходьбы от Эйфелевой башни и около 10–15 минут ходьбы до ближайшей станции метро. По большей части сервис был хорошим, и персонал по регистрации и обслуживанию клиент был очень приятным. Отель расположен в 10 минутах ходьбы от Римского вокзала. Вы не пройдете мимо него, так как он расположен на углу улицы. Персонал отеля хороший и дружелюбный, хотя мы были немного удивлены их просьбе запирать все ценные вещи в сейфе. Отель был, однако, в хорошем состоянии, спокойно и красиво оформленный (полотняные обои и ощущение самого начала XX века). Кондиционер работал :D. В ванной немного причудливый дизайн, благодаря которому невозможно не намочить весь пол, принимая душ (цельный кусок стекла был слишком коротким и не мог остановить воду). Говоря о душевых, головка душа и остальная конструкция ванной явно знавала лучшие дни (хром откололся, а недостающие головки душа в самой сборке гарантируют, разбрызгивание воды повсюду). Мытье посуды не стало самым лучшим или расслабляющим переживанием. Серьезная критика в адрес отеля: 1. не электронная ключ–карта для номеров создает впечатление, что здесь все не так безопасно 2. конструкция ванной плохая в плохом техническом состоянии 3. завтрак стоит 14 евро, если он не включен в стоимость вашего номера, а за эту цену, вы могли бы также пройтись и за углом поесть гораздо вкуснее и за горазно меньшие деньги. Отличный отель, персонал был великолепен и очень услужлив /обходителен! В окрестностях есть немного больших местных ресторанов, а туристических совсем, чего мы и хотели. 10 минут ходьбы до ближайшей станции метро, и прям через дорогу от отеля находится автобусная остановка, так что попасть в центр довольно легко. Когда я подъехал все было хорошо. Когда я вошел в холл, он был очень современным и обновленным. С этого места все стало ухудшаться. Снаружи можно было попасть в номера. Об этом нигде не было упомянуто в их описании. Там также не было лифтов. Она направила меня по-другому маршруту, где кровать была больше, полотенца были чистыми, но тащить свои сумки через двор снова было жестоко. The hotel was very cosy in a nice and central part of Rome. Only a 10-25 minutes walk to the main sites (collosseum, trevi fountain, spanish steps, etc). The hotel is small and so are the rooms (we were traveling with our 7 month old son and teh baby bed didn't leave much space to move around in), but we weren't there for the rooms. Friendly reception staff, very helpful organised a people carrier to return us to the airport in comfort and cheaper than using the express train. Breakfast a bit haphazard ok if you were in early but not so great if you enjoy a long lie. Rooms immaculate had the benefit of a balcony so could enjoy the early morning/late afternoon sun. The hotel staff were all very kind, curteous and helpful. There are some good restaurants nearby and it is within walking distance of Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colleseum, etc. I would stay here again.

As Rome hotels go, this one was worth the price we paid. The shower was a corner in the bathroom, with a drain and curtain, and space was minimal at best. The room itself was clean, but also small. The room's "mini-bar" did not exist, but you could call the front desk and they would deliver drinks at reasonable rates. Front desk personnel very friendly. The Verona Hotel has a perfect location, very close to Termini Station and in walking distance to many tourist attractions in Rome. Good value for the price, but don't expect too much - the room and especially the bathroom could be bigger (the shower was a bit dodgy, basically every time we used it the bathroom flooded - its not a shower cubical). We stayed at hotel Verona in Rome over the Christmas. Hotel is very clean, conveniently located closed to Termini and to all attractions. We were surprised to find a balcony in our room, which was very quiet despite central hotel location. Room had all the conveniences as described on hotel website except for bar (refrigerator), which was not working […] at least in our room. Hotel staff was extremely nice and spoke English well. yes, the location was convenient, however, we were extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room. first, there was a constant funky smell, similar to the scent of a recently lit match. it might have been coming from the surface. the shower was stupid. there was no shower base so every time we took a shower it looked like lake titicaca up in […] there. there were also little bugs in the bathroom. we could hear every noise in the hotel as well as the surrounding neighborhood. the staff was helpful. For a 3star hotel, very good, close to main railway station.

Ideal location for a short stay. Within walking distance to Termini train station, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and ancient Rome. Hote staff was very friendly and accomodating. Lots of reasonable restaurants and shops nearby. Would recommend to others and stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel-Verona. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! We were able to walk to the Colloseum and other sites and were within walking distance of the train station and the Metro (subway). We had free breakfast at the hotel which we thought was sufficient and tasty. We were in a triple room and our only complaint […] was that the third bed was a cot that was not very comfortable. However, the front desk provided us with a thick comforter which we placed on top of the matress and made it more comfortable to sleep on. There was a stair case that we had to carry ou luggage up. There is also a very small elevator, but it did not take us all the way up and we still had to carry our luggage up some stairs. We stayed there for three nights. We were apprehensive about booking on line, but really had not other choice. So we took about three weeks researching and reading many reviews before we selected the hotel. My husband and I did a mini getaway to Rome for four days. We found the reviews for this hotel to be good and so we gave it a chance. The hotel service was nice. Get to the breakfast early, it was pretty good, but goes very quickly. The balcony off of our room was a nice surprise. Staff was excellent! We happened to be in Rome the day of a huge rainstorm. The staff at the hotel were very helpful in advising us on how to get to our next destination.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff that were very helpful to us non Italian speakers. Restaurants around the hotel are fun and a good value. Very easy to get to ancient Rome sites and the train station. We stayed 3 nights and wished that all our hotels in other cities in Italy were as nice. We would definitely recommend.

Excellent little hotel within 5 minute walk of Termini Train station. Hotel is very clean! Air conditioning in our room worked great, unusual for Rome! Be aware of a small 4 Euro per day Rome City tax which is due and payable the day you arrive at your hotel. Continental breakfast was excellent with serve yourself cereal, yogurt, fresh croissants, toast, […] coffee, juice, cheese and salami served in the courtyard. Rooms are not large but that is to be expected in Rome. Bathrooms were small but very clean, again the smallness is to be expected in Rome. Americans need to understand that in Europe, all the hotel rooms are generally smaller than in America. All the front desk staff spoke English fluently which made it easy to get around. Good shuttle service to the airport for 15 Euro from the hotel which was ontime and took about 40 minutes in rush hour morning traffic. Great little restaurants within a few minutes walk. Collesseum/Forum is not a long walk. We walked to all the major sites from this hotel. Like the aspect that the hotel is near the Termini station as this is the only point where the two subway lines in Rome cross which gave us the ability to go in any direction along with hopping a train for day tripping. Overall I was very pleased with my stay at Hotel Verona. The price was very affordable. It was located in a decent neighborhood that felt safe, it was only about 4-5 blocks from Termini station where we had a large selection of buses and trains to choose from, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the facilities were kept clean and well maintained, […] and they offered a great breakfast buffet (pastires, cereals, eggs, cold cuts, etc). The negatives was the size of the shower and the air conditioning. Although my fiance and I were not very bothered by the size of the shower, it was pretty tight. Someone weighing 200 or more lbs might have much more difficulty in the shower. The bigger issue for us was the air conditioner kept cutting off. Apparently the circuit breaker for the AC wasn't so strong because it would go out every 10-15 minutes and we would have to go out in the hallway and reset it. It was rather annoying, but luckily it wasn't too hot in the evenings while we slept. Aside from the AC unit, I had no issues with the hotel and would recommend it to others. Подробнее

Good hotels for few days of family vacation in Roma. Conveniently located, close to Terminy Train station and the Coliseum, multitude of restaurants close by, rooms well equipped

it was alright to stay there for a night but looks nothing like in the photos with a small room, its good for just a stop over because better places can be found probably for cheaper

We had a triple room for three nights and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the standard of the room.

We spent two nights in Rome following a 15 day cruise and we were very pleased with the hotel. The building is older (Duh...this is Rome) but has been recently remodeled including new furnishings. The elevator is small (three persons max) and there are a few steps to contend with to get to your room. We were able to use the airport shuttle (not run by hotel) for 14 Euros per person. (30 min. to airport) We ate at two different restaurants on the street and were happy with the food and service. We ended a month-long tour of Europe at the Verona and loved the welcome, warmth and comfort. The hotel is on a major bus route and 500m from the Metro. For a pittance you can get a day pass on the bus and tube. Breakfasts were great and the coffee first class. What a treat and a haven for travel weary bodies. Highly Recommended!
