This was an awful hotel experience for us! I don't know where to start on this review- how about our room stunk! My husband went and got air freshners! The ad said microwave but there wasnt one and when we went and asked front desk the lady was acting like we should have known that they took them out of the rooms when they switched hands! And the topping on the cake was that the police were there on several occasions during our stay! I do not recommend this hotel! The hotel was not bad overall. Our room had some issues, but we toughed it out. The faucet in the bathroom was only connected by the hose and would move around when you turned it on and off. This hotel was not as bad as some of the previous reviews. We didn't experience major issues. The breakfast selection & variety was equal to most hotels. Rooms aren't elaborate but nice for sleep. Staff was friendly. We would stay again!!

No fridge or microwave, it was even requested a couple months in advance. No ice bucket liner, no cups or coffee cups, no room information. Dirty shower, very very basic. TV is old and far from bed. We will never stay here again.

Our room smelled of mildew so we asked to be moved. We were moved to another mildew smelling room. The carpets were wet. The breakfast was nasty. The area was horrible.

The room was nice. The ac was cold. The shower was hot. There was a fridge and microwave which I liked. Overall it was a good stay for me. It rained heavily both days I was in New Orleans so I didn't get out to see much but the room was comfy enough to enjoy a lazy rainy day.

I have never been more disappointed in a Motel in my 67 years of life. These are the issues I confronted: The Parking lot was flooded, the room reeked of mildew, there was actual mold on the bathroom wall, the shower handle pulled completely out of the wall, the toilet was cracked and patched with caulking, the toilet was filthy and unclean able with […] stains, the bath tub glazing was chipped and had rust. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good. The location was not central to what we were there for, but we made it work. I would stay again though. Oh it had a great view of Six Flags New Oleans from the 4th floor.

Room had visible water damage on ceiling. Phone did not work. No cold water in the morning. Internet service so slow could not print boarding passes.Appeared to be mold growing on walls in bathroom. Hotel may still be suffering from the effects of Hurricane damage.

Well, when we checked in there was no room number on the door. Then upon entering the room, the room looked as if someone just left out of the room prior to us arriving. Lets start with the positive. The bed was fine and the sheets were clean. The room had plenty of space. The nonsmoking room at one time must have been smoking because even though there was a no smoking sign on the door the first thing you smelled was smoke stink. We stayed 2 nights and the 2nd morning we opted out of taking a shower because the water […] only had one temp. HOT there was no cold or cooler or warm. The shower rod was hanging by one screw on each side which made the rod sag and impossible to close the curtain on either side. Breakfast was awful! The attendent was too busy standing in the dirty prep room with the door open leaned over the counter messing on her pink phone. The powdered scrambled eggs were way over watery, sausage was under cooked. The room was full of about 30 people and the biscuts and oatmeal stayed empty. The 4 apples available were shriveled. The only thing that might have been good was the fresh waffles you make yourself but the line was so long I didn't wait. There was nothing for someone who might try and be healthy. Bread, bagles, juice, and coffee. No water was available. Needless to say we picked at our eggs and sausage and decided to eat elsewhere. We came to town for the baseball game between UNO and GA State. The French Quarter festival was going on that weekend so there were no reasonably priced hotels near Wesley Barrows stadium or in the French Qtr. Thought I was staying at a LaQuinta Inn, but found out when I showed up after a 13 hour drive, that it was taken over by Baymont.
