Я останавливался в этом отеле в середине июня 2011-го года. Он удобно расположен в центре Брюсселя, но номера 3-х звездочного уровня. Кондиционеры очень слабые - пришлось вызывать технического специалиста дважды, чтобы он возился с ним. На позицию выше, чем Ibis. Для люксовой цены, я ожидал бы некоторой роскоши. Это простой отель, без излишеств. Все оплачивается отдельно. Два местных звонка, длительностью меньше минуты стоят 11 евро. Парковка 14 евро в день, за интернет 9,95 евро в день. Завтрак 22 евро! У них есть электрический водонагреватель для растворимого кофе. Чашки одноразовые, […] пластиковые! Номера малы для 2-х людей и ест небольшая комната для сумок. Никаких удобств, кроме жидкого мыла и очень тонких полотенец. Кровати были немного мягкими для меня. Расположен отель очень хорошо, в нескольких минутах ходьбы от центра и торговой улицы. Легко дойти до северного вокзала и сесть на поезд до аэропорта. Дорога до аэропорта занимает 15 минут. В лобби есть 2 бесплатных компьютера, но они всегда заняты. Подробнее

Шумные трубы днем и ночью (даже с выключенным нагревателем/кондиционером), дорогой интернет, очень дорогой завтрак, если не входит в стоимость номера. Номер не пополняется при регистрации (15:30), кафе-бар при отеле закрыто до 17:00. Коридоры выглядят как складские помещения, грязные побеленные стены. Лифты медленно реагируют (не хорошо в 27-ми этажном […] здании). Я бы не возражал насчет качества, если не цена за уровень 4-х звезд, которую я заплатил. Тренажерный зал был скудно оборудован, лишь одной беговой дорожкой. За комнатой для хранения багажа (рядом со стойкой ресепшн) никто не присматривает, а багаж никак не помечается, поэтому вы можете зайти и взять чью-нибудь сумку. Я не рекомендую этот отель. Слишком дорого для номера, учитывая его условия. Стены номера были грязными и побитыми. Матрасы были, словно батут, но простыни были чистыми/свежими. Коробку от обуви и другие остатки от предыдущих жильцов не убрали перед моим прибытием. В целом, неплохой отель, правда не очень хороший уровень.

Мы останавливались здесь на 2 ночи, как часть нашего перерыва на уикенд. Отель был отличным - хорошо расположен к транспортным узлам (5-10 минут пешком до Гард Норд), и основным достопримечательностям (10-15 минут пешком до Гранд сквер). Персонал отеля был дружелюбен, зона ресепшн была приятной, а отель окружен приличными ресторанами. Минусами было […] то, что номер был маленьким, кровать жесткой, минибар был грязноватым, на стенах были следы от чемоданов других людей (это могло обеспокоить вас, нас это не волновало). Кроме того, лифты были старыми, и действительно маленькими! Тем не менее, все это мелкие нарекания, если я поеду в Брюссель и буду искать отель бизнес-класса по приличной цене, я воспользуюсь отелем Thon. Подробнее

Нормальный отель. Я останавливался в соседнем отеле Crowne Plaza Grand Palace несколькими неделями ранее, и выбрал этот, чтобы сравнить. Номер был в 2 раза меньше, чем в CP, и кровать была очень очень маленькой (1 двуспальная кровать, которая сделана из двух односпальных). Мы попросили двухместный номер, вот что мы получили. Однако в ванной было чисто и были основные удобства: мыло/шампунь (настенный диспенсер, вместо маленьких бутылочек). Это 4-х звездочный отель, это отражалось и в фойе, и окружающей территории, и обслуживание было отличным. В номере было хоть и чисто, и присутствовали все ожидаемы удобства, температура была экстремально высокой, и было непонятно как работает кондиционер, к тому же обслуживание в номере было не таким хорошим, как я ожидал. Абажур одной из ламп просто […] висел на проволочном каркасе, ковер не был постелен как положено, там были острые углы, которых я не ожидал найти в 4-хзвездном отеле. For the cheap price and nearness to the train station, it wasn't bad. We were able to get the room really early, which was very nice but the room wasn't properly cleaned (you could tell by the empty shampoo/soap containers).

overall proved a very pleasent experience

Everything is good about this place. Nice and modern. A little under staffed but didn't spoil the experience.

Yes, as strange as it might sound, we paid for this hotel but we didn't stay at it at the end. Our family's friend who born in Belgium, moved us to another hotel due to the fact that he do not want us to stay at that neighbourhood. Apparently, according to this friend of ours, the area called Rogier is the worst area in Brussels. It is not a violence […] area or anything, but it is just getting to many homeless people gathering in that neighbourhood. So our friend paid for another hotel for us to stay, and we would like to share this story to you all before you make the decision. This hotel would be fine for business. For vacation, I would have liked something with a little more luxury (for lack of a better word). The rooms are very spacious by European standards and also very clean. We were on the 28th floor. I've read that higher floors are better here. My costume went missing from my luggage, I have sent an email to the hotel to tell me if they found anything, but I had no replay yet. I think this is not professional from the hotel management. Also during our stay it was noise from drilling as they are maintain some of the rooms. Stayed here whilst visiting the Christmas markets, great location right next to stop rougier which accesses most of Brussels and there underground system cheap and easy to use!. Hotel very clean and comfortable, only downsides are plastic cups in rooms and the breakfast is €23!!

I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room floors; the gym was very bad, half the equipment broken or old, definitely not something they should advertise. I would have appreciated to be told about the city tax when i checked in, not on my last day.

We found the Thon hotel to be fantastic. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel personnel was very welcoming and during the weekend they had half-priced breakfast which was amazing. The room was very clean. Around you can find a very nice neighborhood and the tall skyscrapers. Everything is very close: parks, city center, metro.

Short summary: Clean and tidy. Safe neighbourhood. Helpful staff with good English. More or less modern room. Very close to metro, short walking distance from Gare du Nord (airport express train), shopping mall with supermarket (2-3 minutes), and some restaurants and subway shops (1-2 minutes). Easily 4/5 in my book. Stayed there for 4 days in November, […] in a standard double bed room. Friendly and helpful staff, spoke English well. Clean and tidy hotel. OK neighbourhood, felt completely safe. Clean, modern room. Sufficient lighting, visually clean room. Ok sized bathroom. Only a small glass pane separating the bathtub / shower from the rest of the bathroom, so you end up squirting some amounts of water around the bathroom, but this was only mildly annoying. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on that, but felt that 20+ euros it was on the expensive side. Didn't try the exercise room or sauna either. Should mention that the hotel has 29 stories and 4 elevators, so at peak hours (8'ish) it can actually take some time to get an elevator, despite them being somewhat fast. The hotel is 20 meters from the closest metro station (which houses lines 2 and 6, if I remember correctly), and the metro is a good means of transportation. Gare du Nord is a short (5 mins with a large suitcase) from the hotel (the train to the airport leaves from here). Takes about 15 minutes normal walking to get to Grand Place (not far by anyone's definition), and crossing the road takes you into the main street going north-south in Brussels, with lot's of restaurants and shops. An ok Grill is just next to the hotel. A shopping mall with a large supermarket is 2,5 minutes from the hotel, and there's also a small immigrant convenience store across the road, where there's also a good Subway shop. Подробнее

A nice hotel, very good location. Unfortunately, there wasn't any wardrobe in my room that was quite uncomfortable. The "relaxation centre" was under maintainance when I wanted to use it. There wasn't any soap dispenser working, so wasn't possible to take a proper shower. And the whole floor was under water.

Not exactly in the city centre, but a little walk away, however it is very close to the Metro and there are many restaurants within walking distance. Probably geared more towards the business traveller, but for the balance of price, quality, room facilities and a good breakfast offering, it is certainly not so bad!

The Thon is a good value for money. it is close to the subway, and just one stop from the north railway station. the furnishings are simple, but the room is quite large (for european standards) and the bed is comfortable.

I have stayed in this hotel before and was happy to return. Unfortunately on my second visit, it was let down by the breakfast.Fried tomatoes not replenished and cold ones left out. The hotel room was quite small for two people. It was not possible for two people to pass by the end of the bed at the same time. On more than 1 occasion the creamer or sugar was not replenished in the room. Cups in the bedroom were plastic & I expected better from a 4 star hotel. On the plus side the hotel was convienent to explore Brussels.

This Hotel is fine but not outstanding. It is right in the centre of Brussels near the main train station, but not so near that you can hear the trains! I found it difficult to find a nice restaurant nearby, but there was plenty of places to eat such as a chain steak house or Dominoes Pizza. Breakfast was expensive and not good value but bar next dooe […] in shopping centre was OK and much less money. We drove to the hotel and ot was a nightmare to foind as the street given as the address wasnt in my sat nav and didnt seem to be on the street anywhere either. BE CAREFUL! they take a deposit promising to pay the full amount back and then during check out try to charge an extra 7 euros per day and tell you they have taken this from your deposit!!!! (even though the room was paid in FULL via Hotels.com).... We stood there and argued and made a scene in front of new visitors and so got our deposit back in full […] eventually :) Air-con did not work, bed sheets were not changed, TV did not work..... Great location for local and national transport links, and easy walking distance to the centre of town.

This is a very efficient hotel. The luxuries are not spectacular, but if you're just traveling through Brussels or will be there for business only, then this hotel is perfect. It's literally right off the Metro Stop "Rogiers" and is close to everything. You can take public transportation for 2 or 3 stops to go to most places. Really nice hotel for the […] money spent. The location was wonderful.. close to train station and city center. Room was very nice and clean, roomy. My only complaint was that during the middle of the night they set up and cleaned a conference room across the hall on the 29th floor and it was very noisy and disrupting.

The hotel lobby area was very nice and up to date. They had 2 computers to use in the lobby with free internet access which was helpful. The room was small but adequate. Nice bathroom with large tub/shower. Our only complaint was the first night our room was very warm, so the air conditioning was not working properly. Surrounding area is ok - convenient location since we needed to be by Central Train Station, but otherwise was kind of in sketchy part of town. This hotel was in a handy location, walking distance to most attractions, and very close to metro links. The sauna was great with superb views of the city!
