I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was nasty. Room keys did not work on 3 separate occasions. The service was poor and unfriendly as if i were an inconvenience to their own mistakes.

Our room was disgusting. Very old furniture with doors screwed shut. Our TV was broken and unplugged. We got it to work but picture was analog and very grainy. Carpet was sticky and stained and there was no alarm clock. The breakfast looked like leftovers and we just left without eating anything. Sheet were stained and soiled. Carpets were dirty. Comode was dirty. Reservation was not as promised Continental breakfast was lacking. Coffee was lukewarm Overall I would rate it a 1 on a scale of 1-5 Do NOT stay here.

In my opinion, this motel needs some deep cleaning inside and out. The carpet in our room was very worn and looked like it was mildewed in several areas throughout the room and it was obvious that someone had thrown up on it around the bed area. We never took off our shoes. The walls were filthy too. It was disgusting and very disappointing!

When I booked this hotel, you had it listed as a 2 1/2 star hotel, this was nothing more than an hourly rate motel. How disappointing this was to me, since I was traveling with my family. At one point, I needed an ironing board, so I asked the front desk for one and to my suprise, they only had one ironing board in the entire hotel. I wanted to take […] a shower, so I went to put the floor towel on the floor and discovered that there was blood on the towel. The room was dirty and old and the carpets were worn. I stayed at this hotel last Christmas and it was ok. This year I was told upon check-in that there was no hot water until the next day. The room wasn't very clean, but they were full for the night, so I took what I could. I asked for it to be thoroughly cleaned the next day, but did not receive any service. Christmas Day I had to get towels from the […] office as we had no clean towels. I knew there would be no service that day, but we never got any on the 24th. One of the beds had a blanket on it and the other did not, so I had to request one from the office. upon check-out, they did not offer any compensation as I had already paid. They also showed me the rate they had been offerering which was much lower rate than what I paid, so I would have been better off going directly to their website. Room was clean and fresh smelling. The water ran hot and cold in shower. Towels left for replacement were not returned. Faucet in bathroom was difficult to operate.

refused to accomodate my room need when the hotel was empty. no reason not to put us in a double room because the morning person put king bed in the computer. ridiculous

Overall it was clean and convenient. No remote control was found for the television. The ice and vending machines did not work and were not marked as such.

Staff was excellent Room was clean Bed was very comfortable Everything else in the room was worn out. The sink had a crack, The chair was thread bare. The edges of the furniture were worn below the stain.

I will never recommend this Jameson Inn. I did not feel safe as the door jam to room 120 had looked like the room had been broken into. The door jam was loose and the locks did not seem very secure. Hotel needs to be cleaner. I felt things were going to crawl out at any minute. Thanks God nothing did. The second room I book was very smokey there was stale smoke smell coming out of the vents.

We tried the Jameson Inn for a 6 night stay. It was a mistake. One night is about all this hotel is really set up for. The staff is very nice and tries to meet your needs. The motel itself is very run down. Stains on the carpets, air conditioners that don't work well, and a breakfast that wasn't worth the price (BTW it was free). They didn't refill […] the coffee in the room, the Kleenex ran out one day and wasn't refilled. We stayed here because it was close to family but we will never stay here again. Jameson Inn in Orangeburg was sufficient for a one night stay. The check-in clerk was nice and helpful.
