Этот отель был жемчужиной. Превосходное расположение, чтобы увидеть Венецию. Номер был отличным, с очень современной ванной. Стены были покрыты тканью, а светильники были сделаны из муранского стекла. Окна нашего номера выходили на переулок. Окна в зале для завтрака выходят на Гранд Канал, а также есть веранда, на которую вы можете выйти и наблюдать […] за трафиком. Мы пришли сюда вечером с напитками, и наблюдали за всем происходящим. Мы нашли магазинчик по дороге к Сан-Марко, там было удобно покупать закуски. Завтраки были нормальными для Италии, кроме того, что в нем не было сыра, кроме сырных треугольников, а круасаны были в пластиковой упаковке. Кофе был капельным, но если их попросить, они могут сделать капучино. В целом, мне понравился этот отель, как расположение так и обслуживание, предоставляемое за такие деньги было отличным. Если вы ищете отель в центре всего - этот отель для вас. Превосходное расположение возле моста Риальто, вид на Гранд-Канал. Легко дойти пешко до площади Сан-Марко. Я любил просто сидеть на балконе вечером и просто наблюдать за тем, что происходит на улице. Наш номер был хорошего размера и чистым, с хорошим видом на сторону жилой улицы. Однако, по утрам […] было довольно шумно, прямо спозаранку. Персонал был услужлив, когда у них просишь информацию, но не слишком доброжелателен. Фен в нашем номере был сломан. Мы приносили его показывать трем сменам персонала на ресепшн, но его так и не починили, за время нашего пребывания. Континентальный завтрак не был слишком хорошим - упакованные круасаны, теплое молоко для каши и.т.д. Я останавливался в этом отеле на один вечер в прошлом июне, в середине туристического сезона. Мне очень нравились персонал отеля, его расположение и вид из номера. Недостатки: в той части отеля, где я останавливался, нет лифта. Однако я остановился здесь в начале поездки, поэтому поднимать багаж по лестнице было не так тяжело. Мой итальянский был ужасен, но все что мне нужно было сделать, это спросить у прохожих, где находится мост Риальто, и я получал правильное направление. Персонал был очень услужливым и веселым. Расположение было отличным. Нам понравился наш номер, верхний этаж, тихо, вид на канал. Мы провели много времени на балконе, наслаждаясь происходящим на канале. Определенно будем рекомендовать этот отель.

Какой прекрасный, небольшой отель (18 номеров), с замечательным, центральным расположением! Мы были очарованы, говорящей на нескольких языках, девушкой Лючией на ресепшн, а вообще весь персонал был приятным. В нашем "улучшенном" номере (203) были улучшенные кровати, очаровательный вид на улицу, традиционная венецианская люстра - но ужасная кричащая […] картина на стене. Новая, с недавно положенной плиткой ванная с биде и джакузи была бы прекрасной, если бы не какая то душевая занавеска на ней (я уверен, что так запланировано). Во включенном основном завтраке ничего особенного: тосты, ветчина, йогурт, сок), но кофе хороший, а из зала для завтрака открывается впечатляющий вид на оживленный Гранд Канал. Этот отель привлекателен сам по себе, как сооружение, уходящее корнями в века, так что как таковой, он очень стар..матрассы были очень неудобными…завтрак был нормальным..конечно не лучший для европеского отеля, он все равно был хорошим для дорогого города, вроде Венеции. Первая ночь нашего пребывания выпала на субботу, а стены там тонкие как картон, […] поэтому я мог отчетливо слышать музыкальные предпочтения наших соседей, и это продолжалось до 1-2 ночи..когда я позвонил на ресепшн, мне сказал что могут сделать не слишком много, так как шум идет от соседей, а не от настоящих гостей отеля, но я говорю, что все еще рекомендую этот отель, почему?? Потому что вы не сможете найти лучшего расположения, вид из нашего номера был прямо на Гранд канал и мост Риальто, мы могли дойти пешком до площади Сан Марко за 10-15 минат, а все рестораны и события, которые может предложить Венеция, были недалеко от отеля. It was a lovely experience. The location was great as it was next to Ponte Rialto. The breakfast was yummy and the view was amazing. I have to say that the breakfast hours were from 8 to 10:30 however I had to check out around 7 am so they made sure that the breakfast was ready very early morning. This was very nice of them.

We took the cheapest room and it was the cheapest of any of the hotels I could find. As expected, the room was tiny but had the amenities including a tv. Everything worked. The best part was the location only a few steps from the main canal. I would recommend this hotel based on the value.

This hotel had the best views on the Grand canal from the terraces. The rooms were descent. The only downside was that it was a hike from the train station We walked - bad idea (take a water bus it's only 2 stops). The Hotel was great, GREAT location - close to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Sq.

Very disappointing! Our room was VERY DIRTY, stained carpet, chipped paint, light fixtures were bent and falling off the walls. The toilet seat was not fastened well and moved whenever anyone sat on it. Mold and water marks on the ceiling. We asked for a water view and got a view of a dark alley. Hotel advantages are it's location to the Grand Canal in Venice ... and it includes breakfast. The room was not great ... small, no working air condition. The safe was too small. The beds were ok, but not great. But was always clean. Not much interaction with the staff.

For a three star hotel my stay was very nice. Were I to rate it very nice however someone will wonder why they didn't get a mint on their pillow. This is an entirely European hotel with an elevator and a shower stall each about 2 1/2 feet square. As of May 2012 The Hotel Ovidius is in two side by side parts. One part has no elevator and residents in […] that part, to reach the breakfast room, must go outside and back in. This might be considered a great inconvenience for many. To join the two parts of the hotel, all that has to happen is for a false wall to be removed, for which the Ovidius is trying to get a permit. The day staff, typically Lucia, was simply delightful; informed and helpful and fluent. (Should you stay tell her Paul says "hi".) The evening and night staffs were equally friendly but appeared less knowledgeable and certainly less fluent in my native language, English. A few of the rooms front on the Grand Canal overlooking the Rialto. Occasionally however the Rialto area gets noisy in the evening so if you're an early-to-bed type like me you might be happier in a less scenic interior room. Views of the Rialto are however available from the small terrace off the breakfast room (on one side of the hotel) or from the veranda (on the other side). Wifi is available in the second floor breakfast room and (so I hear) the first floor sitting room below it. It might stretch to the rooms on either side of these but you probably won't get a decent signal in your room. Подробнее
