Отель уже порядком подустал, но полностью соответствует цене-качеству. До пирса 39 минут 10 пешком..столько же до знаменитого зигзага Ломбарда ))

Расположение отеля очень выгодное для туристических прогулок и шопинга.Район тихий,безопасный . много кафе и ресторанов. Рядом с гостиницей остановка лучшего маршрута канатного трамвая, ворота чайна табун. В гостинице бесплатный интернет, а в холе хорошо на тронный старинный рояль. Музицировали каждый вечер.

"Европа в Сан-Франциско - отличное предложение для этого города!"
Архаичное здание Art Deco на окраине округа tenderlionвернуло меня назад, во времена путешествий через всю Европу. Мебель была хорошей (новая для отеля, но до этого уже использовавшаяся где-то. Сейф был заблокирован в открытом положении, но мне любезно предложили хранить вещи в сейфе в вестибюле. В ванной была оригинальная отделка бордовой плиткой […] на стенах. В ванной были длинные темные волосы, но у меня случилось тоже самое в 4-х звездочном отеле. Вода в раковине уходила немного медленно, но в целом, номер стоил своих денег. Бесплатный завтрак включал в себя самодельный ирландский черный хлеб, в это было невозможно поверить!! Это сделало пребывание в номере еще лучше. Большинство европейских клиентов были хорошо воспитаны и спокойны. В здании хорошая звукоизоляция, даже с открытым окном я мог спокойно спать, обдуваемый ветром с залива, доносящимся до 6-го этажа. Постельное белье было приемлемым, но кровать была немного староватой. Но тем не менее, это все равно было более комфортно, чем в других, более дорогих отелях, где мне приходилось останавливаться. Персонал ресепшн напомнил мне об Ирландии. Я попросил принести свежие полотенца, и их незамедлительно принесли, лично для меня. Я почувствовал, что человек в этом отеле, не просто лицо, проходящее через дверь. Отель был расположен удобно ко многим достопримечательностям города, таким например как: Азиатский Музей, Сити Холл, Муни. Тот кто знает Сан-Франциско, будет рад узнать, что отель не располагается ни на одной из основных возвышенностей. Это делает прогулку до достопримечательностей и пользование транспортом более приемлемым, чем по холмам с уклоном в 6-10 градусов.Я рекомендую ходить пешком днем, а такси брать вечером. Расположение у отеля неплохое. Я останавливался в 4-5-ти звездных отелях, за последние 25 лет путешествий по миру. Я не знаю, почему я забронировал этот отель. Мои дети и жена были совершенно недовольны им. Ручка в душе отсутствовала, и там воняло.
В отеле чисто и приятный персонал, но сам он очень, очень старый. Поскольку я молодая девушка и путешествую одна, район в котором расположен отель, был для меня плохим. Маленькая ванная, а дверь едва закрывает туалет. Я делала бронирование в спешке и перепутала этот отель с Embassy Suites, но этому месту было далеко до туда. Я путешествую каждую неделю, […] но я никогда не пишу отзывы лишь на основе местоположения и ощущения отсутствия безопасности, я не рекомендую этот отель никому из девушек, путешествующих в одиночку. "Прилично, но не хватает удобств."
Этот отель находится не в самом хорошем районе и выглядит немного запущенным. В номерах нет вентиляции, поэтому в номерах действительно душно и пахнет. Нет холодильника, микроволновки, кофеварки или даже стаканов/ведерка для льда - мы не могли ни хранить еду/напитки холодными, ни подогреть. Сам номер был достаточно просторным, но также был слегка потрепан. […] Персонал был очень услужлив - они разрешили оставить наши вещи в отеле, пока мы пошли осматривать достопримечательности, ввиду раннего прибытия, и то же самое в последний день, поскольку у нас был поздний вылет. Они помогли нам найти местные развлечения, соорентировали в городе и позаботились насчет нашего шаттла до аэропорта. в целом, очень старый и запущенный отель, в котором не хватает основных удобств, но персонал услужливый и приятный. Это старый отель, в котором делают все, чтобы сохранить его в хорошем состоянии. Цена немного высоковата, учитывая возраст отеля, но все было хорошо. Лучшее в отеле - его расположение, в лучшей части города.

Overall I had a pretty amazing experience staying at this classic old hotel. The hotel is nice and vintage. "Recommend another hotel"
It was just ok. The elevator smelled like something died in it. I didn't get much sleep as a result of the night club below our room. We were on the 6th floor and could hear every song. The hotel is slightly antiquated, but the room itself was clean. Glad I was there for just one night. I wouldn't have made it 2 nights.

"Ok for the money"
Ok for the money. It was an older building and could use some renovating but was ok. Bath had some cracked tiles. Has a club which is convenient but makes it hard to sleep. BRING EAR PLUGS!. Got ear plugs the second night and slept ok. Has gated parking but this was a head ache when getting back late. Probably will not stay here again.

"dirty and noisy"
bad location homeless around. nosy you can hear your neighbors talk. dirty stinky. old very old furnitures. no power supply plugs close. I don't recommend it ever to everyone. doesn't worth the money I paid.

"Embassy Hotel in SF"
The Embassy wasn't too bad, and upon first glance the lobby seemed even nice. They also had a parking lot that always had a couple spaces open, but there was a gate in front of it that was controlled by the front desk, and the only way to open it was to wait in front in hopes that they see your car in the camera soon or to call them. The worst thing […] about my experience at the Embassy would have to be the elevator. It just had a horrendous smell, and I couldn't breathe while I was inside it. However, the customer service was pretty good, because I requested a hair dryer (which they promptly brought up) and later on 2 extra pillows (which they also brought up quickly). Another downside is that the walls are quite thin, and you can easily hear the TV from a neighboring room or the toilet flush. Also, the floors are really creaky, so you have to tread lightly if you want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and your roommates are sleeping. The location was pretty alright, not too far from Market Street or anything else, and the night club that was complained about in other reviews didn't bother me. However, the surrounding area did seem a little shady, and I was glad for the gated parking lot. Overall, my experience wasn't too bad, but I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Подробнее

We went to SF without knowing where we were going to sleep and we luckily found this place on the weekend of st. Patrick's day. They were holding an event in their parking lot so we couldn't check in til 6. They ended up not making us pay for Parking cuz of it so that was a big plus. The hotel was clean very vintage which I liked. But I hated taking […] the elevator!!! Thing smelled like dead rats. They tried to mask the smell with 2 air fresheners but that did nothing. They've got a happening bar at night; Chris Brown was there when I stayed. Yes, the hotel is old, and nothing fancy about it. But they offer FREE parking behind electronic gates, and a great coffee and snack shop attached to the lobby. Just up the street is hip restaurant with the best French toast I've every had. If you need to get to sleep before 2am, look elsewhere; pounding music from the club pulsates throughout the entire hotel, even midweek.

"Don't expect to get any sleep"
I stayed here from a Tue-Fri and every night except the first night I had to call the hotel manager in the middle of night to try to get him to get other guests to quiet down. If it wasn't people coming in after 2am to party it was the drunk people fighting in the hallway. I was in San Francisco for a work event and getting NO sleep every night was […] the last thing I needed. The manager was even annoyed that I was making him come up to the 4rth floor. And the last night it took 3 calls to finally get the party next door to stop-but at that point it was 5:30am and I had to be up at 6am anyway. "Embassy hotel- cheap for a reason"
My fiancé and I stayed in the embassy for our 3rd anniversary vacation. The hotel was advertised to have a refrigerator, a safe, and a large comfortable king bed. The safe was behind a cabinet that we could not get into. We couldnt find the fridge and the bed was almost too hard to sleep on. The service was good, they made sure to bring us anything […] we asked for. The neighborhood was somewhat sketchy and made us very nervous any time we tried to walk somewhere. The hotel was nice for the price. Location was very convenient and despite the hallways looking old the rooms were nice and well taken care of. The only negative is the hotel is right by a club and depending on where your room is the noise could be annoying at times. Bathroom is kind of small but overall it's a cozy stay in the city.
Hotel staff was very nice and. Flexiable, they let me check in early and check out late.

The overall stay was ok. The room was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable. The dead bolt lock was broken but the hotel felt safe anyway. The reason I wouldnt recommend the hotel is that there is a bar on the first level that plays very loud music till late in the night, which makes it hard to fall asleep.
The front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel may be older but it is very nice for the price.

Get what you pay for. Nice rooms, cheap, but directly over night club, can hear music until 2 am, and then people continue party in their rooms. For young people only, don't expect a lot of sleep.

Do not stay in this hotel unless you want to be bitten by bed bugs! Myself and my guests were all left with very uncomfortable bed bug bites after our stay here on New Years Eve. What we have learned from this experience is that bites typically take 7-10 days to appear, so most people may not know that a room or bed has the bugs. This is a very nice old hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Although the hotel was walking distance to several nice restaurants, the Opera House and Museums, the location did not feel very secure for evening walks, and our car had to be parked behind the building in a gated area to keep it safe.

"Very noisy hotel"
First let me start by saying that this hotel is very old, so don't expect new decor, furniture, elevator or anything else for that matter. The room was clean and looked like the pictures. The major draw back is that the walls must be made of paper, since I spent the entire night unable to sleep because of other guests either above, below or next to […] us that were arguing or running around with lead feet. I was on the 5th floor and could hear everyone on the street coming out of a nearby party (night club?). I could not close the window because the room did not have an air conditioner (only a heater) and the room got pretty warm (my trip was during the third week of December).
