Отель расположен в неудобном месте. До центра необходимо ехать на трамвае, а если идти пешком, то это минут 30-40. Отель старенький, тянет на 3*, завтраков нет.

Прожилава в данном отеле в самом начале мая. Уровень 4 звезд полностью соответствовал - и итрерьер, и отличный рыбный ресторан. Смущало, причем очень сильно, только одно - слишком большой депозит! За проживание 2-х человек за 4 ночи с нас взяли 400 евро!! Деньги сняли с карты, клятвенно обещали вернуть сразу же после выселения. Как результат - деньги […] получила будучи уже в Санкт-Петербурге, спустя более 2-х недель! И то - только после того, как я написала 4 письма в администрацию отеля с просьбой объяснить сложившуюся ситуацию и почему сотрудники отеля обещают одни даты - а в реальности перевод денег был более двух недель. (к слову мой банк сказал, что такие операции длятся до 30 дней. Просто зачем тогда говорить - сразу же после выселения. Это обман и недостоверная информация) Это непрофессионально. И такие депозиты ненормальны)) Никогда такого не встречала. То есть если бы лишних денег не было - провела бы пару дней в аэропорту, в ожидании экстренной помощи) В общем - это было ужасно, и испортило впечатление о стране в принципе. Мы останавливались на 4 ночи в Wyndham, и это было абсолютно превосходно. Парень на ресепшн, работающий в ночную смену, был очень услужлив, и хотя отель находится на некотором отдалении от туристических достопримечательностей, но дотуда легко дойти пешком. Также в 5-ти минутах ходьбы до трамвая...я определено рекомендую отель Wyndham Apollo.

Рад рекомендовать этот отель, а также подтвердить несколько предыдущих комментариев. Расположение очень хорошее если вы за рулем, быстрый и легкий доступ к автостраде, а также множество охраняемых парковок (30 евро за ночь). Отличные виды на канал, номер в отличном состоянии и чистый. В нескольких минутах ходьбы остановка трамваев 5 и 24, они оба ходят […] до центра, а по пути они останваливаются в ключевых местах, таких как Leidseplein и Albert Cuyp Market. Отель легко найти с автострады, множество охраяемых парковок. Персонал был приветлив, дали нам карту города и порекомендовал несколько мест. Номер нормальный, соответствует своей цене. Питались в бар отеля, хорошая еда и атмосфера с видом на каналы. Персонал там дружелюбный, а еда/напитки не так дороги. Стоимость автопарковки в отеле была высоковатой, […] учитывая, что мы были в самом городе, то оказались немного шокированы туристическим сбором. 3 звезды - это более справедливая оценка. Вид был очень хорошим, а в отеле спокойно, так что спать там будет хорошо.

Фотографии номеров на сайте не соответствуют действительности. Держитесь подальше от этого отеля. Лобби замечательное, но номера отвратительные, старые, обои отваливаются от стен, грязные ковры, поцарапанная мебель 1970-х годов, близко к основным достопримечатльностям. Wonderful hotel, located on the canal south of the city..easy access via the trams to the main city centre.

We arrived early and our room was not available. We were offered something close, but I declined as this was a special trip and I wanted no compromise. Good hotel, staff is friendly and willing to help (though not all the staff people have knowledge about the city). The hotel is quite far from the centre, need to take a tram/bike but people who like museums can stay there because it's very close to the museum quarter. All the services in the hotel are very expansive. WIFI is ridiculously expansive, […] you can get it for free in the city centre. Consumption of water from the mini-bar is more expansive than the beer (!?), breakfast is expansive, eating in a coffee is better. Parking is huge but really expansive, don't come with car. Very quite rooms, nice lobby, nice view to the canals, patio rooms are recommended, parks are close, tram is 500 metres walk. 12£ for wifi, 30£ for parking, 14£ for Breakfast, so basically for everything u have to pay an extra offset.

I was especially happy with finding a well appointed workout room. Using the new OV transportation card in th NL's makes getting around Amsterdam easier than ever. For visiting the Art Museums it is a great location.

Bar Service not professional good Food Breakfast very good food and very good service

Very comfortable hotel close to most places in the city you need to get to. Can walk to the museums in 15 minutes or take a tram nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful and everyone speaks English. There is even a nice new pub located a block away if you want some local flavour!

Our room had a great view of the canal. Parking very expensive. No free parking option. If you have a motorcycle or scooter, or the omnipresent bicycle, don't pay. There is space to the right of the entry for two wheelers. Very expensive restaurant. Good value room with high priced amenities. Gym small.

The Wyndham Apollo Hotel is located in the perfect spot, on the confluence of 5 canals, with the bar/lounge/restaurants all on the water, this place is really a gem. Lovely service. The only drawback was the shower, which always flooded the bathroom floor b/c of a poor design. Otherwise, highly recommended!

We spent 4 pleasant nights in Wyndham Apollo Hotel in Amsterdam last week. Our room was very nice, recently renovated and with the canal view. The hotel overall looks nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They offered us breakfast for a reduced price of 12,50 euros per day, but we didn't take it, cause we thought it would be nicer to have breakfast […] in the city. I think we would be better off, if we took that offer. It's very easy to reach the hotel from the Amsterdam Schiphol airport. You can take the train to Amsterdam Zuid station, and than either tram number 5 or bus number 65 from there. You can find the details on Google maps. The whole trip took less than half hour. It's also conveniently located in Amsterdam, cause you can take trams 5 or 21 to the center. It's less than 15 min. drive. We even walked to the hotel on 2 nights, and it took us less than an hour, and it was a very nice walk, since the hotel neighborhood looks safe. We haven't used night buses, so I don't know how easy it is to come back in the middle of night, but based on the experience with day time public transport in Amsterdam, which is great, I don't think there should be any problem with it either. The room we booked into was a deluxe queen room; however upon entry we found the wallpaper had a chip in it, 2 white stains on the floor and ductape on the bathroom door. When I went down to reception with photographs I was instantly given the option with apologies for the executive room, slightly larger with a view over the marina which we took at […] no extra cost. The door to the bathroom didn’t have a lock on it and was made of glass with a good inch clearance on the bottom of it to the floor. In a 4 night stay there were two rather large spiders caught on the walls, this could have been because we'd left the windows open. During our stay, the highly rated fish restaurant which we were looking forward to going to was actually closed, and only serving a refined menu, the portions were small and the food was served out in the bar. The staff however were fine and smiley, signing up to the “wyndham hotel club” gives you free internet otherwise you will be charged. The hotel's location is good once you get to know the area and could be considered walking distance to the city centre however not with luggage. Great and comfortable stay, nice location by canal and rowing club.

I enjoyed my stay and Windham Apollo Hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but is really close to the Tram line 5, which will take you to the center of the city and many interesting sites like the Van Gogh museum. A 2 star room at 4 star prices. Tatty room and the bathroom floor was a lake after having a shower. Beds were uncomfortable as well. Not good value for money!

The Hotel was a bit further out that my wife and I thought, but once we mastered the Trams (5 or 24 to Appollolaan) it was a breeze. This hotel does not have free wireless. They charge 12 EURO for 24 hours wireless. I think being 4 star hotel and amount of money they charge for stay, they should have free wireless included. now a days wireless access is no longer luxury, it is neccessity. This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location is off the "beaten path", located in a quiet neighborhood on a canal just south-east of Vondelpark. A 10-15 minute walk to the van Gogh museum. 5 minute walk to the closest tram line at Apollolaan. Hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nice spacious location and close to WTC in south AMS for easy train from and to Schipho and eight euro cab. . Wifi signal was very weak in my section of hotel.

While this is a very nice hotel it is way outside of the downtown area which may be a plus for some.

The hotel was ok but the bed was one of the worst I've ever slept on. The mattress felt as though it was stuffed with straw.

We were totally pleased with one exception- the hotel provides very thick pillows which were uncomfortable for one of us. Location requires a bit of walking, but we liked that.

This hotel is convinient to the RAI and the VAN GOGH Museum it offers a great quiet setting with a friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is nicely located south of the centre, and it's a nice walk from there to either the Vondelpark or De Pijp areas. However, our room was quite worn out, the carpet was patched in several places, and the furniture was showing that it's in there for quite a while. We were lucky to get this hotel room last minute. It was sizable compared to other accommodations in Europe.The room was very comfortable and the hotel was beautiful. The hotel is located in a nicer part of town not too far from Amsterdam Zuid station.

Booked this room on short notice and the quality exceeded my expectations. A little far from the center of Amsterdam, but do-able for the adventurous walker. Hotel was very clean and comfortable, with lovely staff and terrific restaurant.
