Let me just say...and I told guest services this when we checked out...I will NEVER stay at The Plaza again. And I would definitely NOT recommend it to anyone I know.

Arrived at 11:30 AM hoping to check in. Was told that we could either check in at 1:00 or pay $20 to check in at 11:30. Good customer service would have allowed us to check in 1 1/2 hour early.Also charged $11.30 resort fee when we didn't use the pool or internet connection. I wouldn't consider the hotel a "resort". Because I checked in very late, they upgraded me to a one bedroom suite! I read somewhere that they recently remodeled the rooms, and I was very happy.

This is one of Downtown Las Vegas's premier hotels of it's day. Recently renovated, property still shows it's past. The parking is tight, and although the rooms have new carpet, paint, beds and such, the furniture and fixtures are all mid century....probably original to the property! First thing happened, we went to valet parking and unloaded luggage. The guy from valet unload until I have my key. So I left my husband there to go find parking and had to pay $5.00 to only find parking on the 5th floor of there parking structure. It was midnight by the time we checked in. We goto our room on the 21st floor and unpacked everything […] and changed to go to bed. We can hear a banging sound over and over. After a half hour of that, I got dressed and went downstairs to change rooms. She had to get a managers ok before she could move us. The next day, we were out all day in the heat, we go to our room and it was an oven. The AC wasnt working and the hinge on the front door was broken. We had to move again. The elevator to the parking garage was also broken. We stayed there before with no problems. This time was horrible. Подробнее

Rooms are big and up to date. Rooms are clean. Staff was very friendly. Close to Fremont experiance but you can still sleep because its quite.

Prices are unbelievablely low. We love to stay at the plaza, their beds make it difficult to get out of. There's no other place we think of first when we go to vegas.

I was expecting more from the Plaza after their extensive remodel. The room was fair - already has chipped paint, ceiling has stains, bed not comfortable and the soap that you get is about the size of a silver dollar!

The room was done in modern decor, very surprised at how great it looked. Comfortable, clean, nice room! The garage and its elevator were shabby, dirty, and awkward, not good for your first impression if you drive in.

The Plaza has a great location in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Parking is easy to deal with. We parked in the garage the whole time. The hotel has a chic updated lobby and the air in the casino was not too smokey at all. The elevators to the rooms are close to the check in area so that is nice. The room was ok. We have stayed there before because we frequent downtown to hang out with friends and drink. We stay the night instead of drinking & driving. The hotel is not being maintained after the renovation. The AC was VERY NOISY! We could barely sleep. The pillows are not comfortable. Every time we stay there I get a neck ache. The Plaza is a tremendous bargain. By far the cheapest place we have been in a long time. The rooms are fairly recently re-done so they are much nicer than you'd expect. The plaza is a hotel that is past it's prime but it's much nicer that the price would suggest. Hotel was satisfactory. Bed was hard on back. Non smoker so did not like having to go thru smoke filled casino to get to room. Liked having safe to put valuables in. Friendly and helpful personnel.

I think downtown LV just isn't a good place to stay. There are a bunch of homeless drug addicted people all around and I didn't like it.

Everything was great except we did not get the room we requested. We asked for a King and when we got there was told they only had 2 queens left.

Great location free entertainment every night across the street at the Freemont experience. Lots of places to eat and drink at a reasonable cost. only issue has been noticing half a dozen unauthorised charges since my return am waiting for hotel management to explain these to me.

Front desk personnel distracted by outside activities. Then when I had stepped away from counter, front desk personnel had my roommate who was not a signer on my credit card, initial and sign my name to the receipt and gave her my credit card and room keys, without my authorization.

It's somewhat far from the strip. I drove to the strip, parked, and then explored. At the end of my night, I taxi'd back to the Plaza, and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of my room. Then taxi'd back to my car in the morning. It was a great time. The Plaza was fantastic, and the check out took 30 seconds. Old Vegas is where it's at.

Downtown is great. Good vibe and everything is so close. I've stayed at the Plaza before and came back as it had everything I needed. Also, south facing rooms in the South Tower have a great view of Vegas.

The room was excellent, the service was fine (including free valet parking), and the location was excellent for our desire to be downtown on this visit. Just across the street from the "Fremont Street Experience" which is quite a scene in the evening. Only complaint was that there was no concierge until mid-afternoon.

The room was very disappointing. The sink was clogged and bed was uncomfortable. Do not plan on stayinf here again.

Lovely hotel at the beginning of Fremont St experience downtown. Beautiful large clean room. Comfy bed & pillow and nice bathroom with quality towels and toiletries. Large selection of tv channels. Cheap buffet at Fremont Casino and Main St Station only 300 metres from Plaza. If going to tthe strip walk a few blocks along Fremont till LV Blvd and get the Deuce bus. Runs 24 hrs a day. 24 hr pass costs $8. 72 hr pass costs $20. Pay at machine by bus stop exact change only. I have stayed at Golden Gate, California and Plaza. When I arrived in my room, it smelled like marajuana smoke, and there was trash on the floor. When I called the front desk to inform them, I was put on hold for 15 minutes and never spoke to anyone. In addition, there were not enough pillows and blankets. It took FOUR HOURS to get a blanket and pillows.
