I enjoyed it. It was very clean and I felt very comfortable there.In fact I extended my stay an extra day! The only thing is that it was a little hard to find because the office was set back from the street behind a restaurant. Everyone was very helpful and very polite and friendly.

We chose to stay outside of Boston to avoid marathon weekend, and the surrounding area of this hotel is nice. A hot breakfast was included in the price, so we got to enjoy waffles and eggs before heading out. Our only real issue is that we were put into a non-smoking room (as requested) however the room smelled of smoke. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head for the night, this place is fine. Clean and comfortable....and any hotel with a free hot breakfast is okay with me.

Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Accessible to mall and Logan Airport. Great continental breakfast. Good value for the price.

The title says it all! The 2-star rating may be OK for a motel, but the comfort and especialy the breakfast buffet are more like 4-star. Great place to stay in the north-of-Boston area.

Overall a good stay. My bathroom tub filled up with water as you showered and took a while to drain. Room was very clean.

This place is a value. It's close to the historic sites, easy to get to just about anywhere in the Boston area. Margarita's next door is very popular and a good restaurant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Wonderful breakfast and very helpful desk staff. The only 2 problems were no hot water in the sink and there is NO sound-proffing between the doors that connect adjacent rooms. Even with both doors closed even low conversations were clearly audible. The extreme marital discord taking place in the adjacent room may just as well been in my room.

We only stayed one night, but it was quiet and adequate. It is a good, basic economy hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and courteous.

We showed up late(around 2100 hrs). The young lady seemed like I was disturbing her. Told me the was a elevator on our side of the motel. NO there was n ot one that I could find. Well. The room needs to be remodeled.

The hotel was okay but my problem with it was the room was on the small size and the faucet handle kept falling off which I had mentioned to the staff but it was not fixed. I did not realize that it had exterior entrances which made it noisier in the early morning hours. The room was fine. It was a non-smoking room, but had the leftover smoke smell from someone else. The breakfast was not good at all. The service was good, besides house keeping. We stayed one night, typically house keeping doesn't even come to your room if you are checking our that day anyway, room service showed up at 8am...and then came back again. […] Why wouldn't they just wait until we had checked out? Rated as average. Room was okay for the cost but had a musty smell. Breakfast was excellent.

The room I was in this week had two flies in it and there was a shoemark on the ceiling from where someone smashed a fly from before. This should have been cleaned. In addition, there was no iron where there should have been one. When I asked for one there was only one left and it had tar or something on it.

Location is not bad, about 20 mins from Downtown Boston, rooms are quite hold and need major upgrade Breakfast area is so small that people have to line up to get food and no place to sit

It was gross. The ceiling had some major leaks and what looked like mold, and there was a large bug, what looked like a baby cockroach running all around the room in the morning. EW.

I have registered a formal complaint to Choice Hotels regarding this hotel. It is in a good location, but run down, not kept up, parking area littered with wood scraps and junk, and construction remains. My room had a hole in the wall the size of a human head, (and shape by the way---which is scary), sink was cracked. Management had no clue as to condition […] of the room. Carpet dates from George Washington, people party in the cement outside hall at night--kept me up till 1:00 am. Management at night is a college student. Unfortunately, the other hotels in this area are even worse. Someone with money and guts could make a fortune with a new hotel/motel in this area that is modern clean and well maintained. Подробнее

There is no reason to have holes in the bedspread, sour smell from the carpet and rust in the bathtub. Managers are never available.

In short, bursted coke can in fridge, bucket of water (?) in fridge, old tea bags in coffee carafe, mold in bath tub, ice cold outdoor pool, no bath towels and a fuss when we asked for some.

Good points: room was clean and updated, everything was perfectly functional, free and functional wi-fi, staff seemed helpful to tourists asking questions. Okay points: breakfast buffet was minimal but about what you'd expect. Location okay if you have a car. Not-so-good points: maid service completely skipped my room one night. The hotel is undergoing slow refurbishing which is needed, but it is not a problem to stay there during this work. You will need a rental car if the purpose of your stay is to visit Boston as Lexington is a bit far out. It lives up to its two stars, but do not expect four star quality. The pool is nice, staff friendly and there are washing machines […] and dryers on the premises. However, the breakfast is HORRIBLE and not fit for human consumption. Eat elsewhere. This is more like a motel than a hotel. The room we were in had tattered carpeting which definitely needs replacing. The room also had a bad smell. I brought this up to the receptionist at the front desk but she said they were completely booked and couldn't switch our room. The hotel was next to a resturant where the people parked in the hotel spots so I could not park near the room I was in and they were loud. the toilet seat fell off the toilet (cheap). The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and kind.

The overall experience was good, however the end unit we were assigned was frequently out of hot water for the shower. The hotel location and breakfast was good also. Unfortunately our last nights sleep was interupted at 06:00 by the alarm in the next room. The person had left, and the alarm continued until we left at 09:00.

The room was a bit sparse. The bathtub was uncomfortable and the faucet handle fell off. Difficult to access Boston without a rental car. You have to take 1/2 hour bus ride to the train station. When the bus drops you off it is difficult to cross the street safely to get back to your hotel. Plus you have to be at the bus stop by 7pm because that is […] the last run for that bus, and a taxi cost me $35 for the trip to the hotel. On the brighter side the bed was comfortable, the air condition worked, and the breakfast was good. At least 1/2 of the staff I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The hotel also offers a shuttle but it only goes to within 5 miles of the hotel and only runs until 8pm. It would be a big plus if the shuttle ran to the train station and perhaps offered service a bit later into the evening. Подробнее
