The room was nice, but we could hear our neighbor on the phone through the walls. Also, our mattress moved with every motion, so my husband and I woke each other often in the night. Location was excellent, convenient for ski slopes and in-town movies or food.

Thin walls and doors. Guests make a lot of noise in the hallways. Can easily hear neighbor's TV through the wall. The whole building is due for a remodel. Frontdesk guy was good, but they were sparsely staffed

This hotel was just short of section 8 housing or a meth lab. I was disgusted by the smell, carpet, and filth in the bathroom. There were hairs in the tub. No one cleaned my room in the 4 days I was there and if I hadn't prepaid through Hotels.com I would have walked out. The neighbor had a constantly barking dog. We got exactly what we we expected for an extended stay with no maid service. The room was very warm and even though we turned the heat down, it stayed very warm. I'm sure that during cold weather that is a plus. The new matress was great and the employees were friendly.

Newer no frills hotel. You'll hear your neighbor showering in the morning but the price is right and it's near many places to eat.

I didn't expect much for the price, plus some of the older reviews made it sound pretty bad, but it was actually pretty nice! My trip was in September so it was very quiet, not many other guests or noise. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. I stayed in a queen studio, non-smoking. The room was clean, a few minor mold spots in the bathroom, and a […] slight odor in the room at first- nothing I can't get over! The woman at the front desk even gave me an air freshener to help! Internet works in every room, and it's not complicated to use. There's a desk, TV, dresser, armchair, coat hanger area, AC/heat, shower/tub, counter space, cabinets, alarm clock, full size fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, and a few dishes (no spoons though). Some bar soap, but no shampoo or anything else. I also thought it was nice that houskeeping doesn't come until after check out (less than a week stay). Sometimes if people are talking loud in the hall you can hear it. The location, while fairly far from downtown SLC, was still a good location; there is a walmart, gas station, and whole foods nearby, many dining choices nearby, parks, a movie theater, and it's not far from the belt route. enjoyed my stay. room was clean and comfortable. could use more stations on the tv, I get more on the antenna than what they had. overall though a pleasant stay.

I have stayed at several Extended Stay's for business in the past and generally have been satisfied although they are lacking in the amenities of other chains they serve a specific function. I found the staff friendly and professional and would definitely stay here again.

It took forever to get checked in. When I arrived there was no one at the desk to check in and it took forever for someone to finally show up. When they did they had to run up to the room to make sure it was clean. The whole process took about 30 minutes. Then when I got up to my room I reserved a smoking room. There was no ashtray. Lobby was cluttered with boxes and junk, the carpet was dirty and the elevator stunk. The one staff member at the front desk was friendly and polite. I felt bad for her, such a nice person stuck in such a cruddy place. I wanted to rescue her. The hall was dirty and stunk. Overall it is good. The studio has a big refrigerator , microwave oven, toaster, stove and dishes for 2. However they did not provide any dish soap for me to wash the dishes. Enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and private. Loved having our own fridge to put food in and a nice HD tv to watch movies on. The room was cool, because of the air conditioning. Overall very satisfied.

I thought this hotel was nice, it was in a good area with quick access to shopping, theatres and almost endless dining choices. And with the convenience of a kitcchen in the room it made for a great stay. Also very nice views of the Salt Lake mountains right from your hotel window!

We got in really late from our drive, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we told them we may need to check out an hour late or so, they were very understanding and accommodating. I would recommend the hotel to anyone!

The front desk was closed when I got there and the room was as plain as could be. Bed was a king but not comfortable at all. For a low cost room it could be worse- this is in a good area of town- but it's not a nice place to stay.

It said it comes with a pass for a nearby exercise place but when you ask for it they say they no longer offer it. I paid for a non smoking room, however my room reaked of cigarette smell, air quality was really poor. There was dog poop, empty beer bottles and cigarette butts all over on the property outside. The hotel was very much fine for me to stay the two nigths in a row. I was traveling so I did not have to stay the whole day there, therefore many facilities are unimportant to me , like SPA or sauna/fitness. Potentially you can even cook there, but I did not touch the annex kitchen items (just the fridge). The neigbourhood looks safe, there are some restaurands 20 m from the hotel where you can have a very good breakfest for about (15 $) or dinner same price in chinesse. Comparing to the breakfests included in other hotels, mine for signifficantly better. I felt comfortable in the hotel , the room for rather cleaned and well maintained, although the furniture had signs of ussage. There was a set of clean towels, napkins, soap etc. This is not refreshed everyday, but I did not bother. The only problem with the room that I noticed was the carpet, and some hair on it (not to be noticed by eye), as an evidence that some pet has been present in the room. The hotel stuff said that they would take care of the carpet. Overall - a very quiet hotel with the basic conditions so you could rest, have a shower, have a good and peacefull sleep. Nice kitchenette. Bed was hard but amazingly comfortable. I slept well. Very quiet. No shampoo or hair dryer in room. I had to get dressed again and go get some at the front desk. In the a.m. no one was at the desk until 7 and my paranoid husband wouldn't let me leave the keys and hair dryer in the room, so I had to wait for someone to get to work.
