Travelodge Hotel Downtown - Чикаго

Сервис соответствует уровню цены. Главным для меня было очень удобное расположение отеля. Во-первых - это практически самый центр города и рядом с красивым парком, и во вторых очень удобно с точки зрения транспорта, рядом две ветки метро и что немаловажно, одна из них ведет в международный аэропорт

Я выбрал Travelodge потому что он был очень доступным по цене, и поэтому и не ожидал увидеть все эти предметы роскоши, которые можно ожидать от более дорогого отеля. В номере не было холодильника, например, не было стула, кроме стоящего у рабочего стола, не было фена в ванной комнате, что меня удивило. Не было бесплатного континентального завтрака. […] Но расположение отличное (в одном квартале от Grant Park), и действительно, все, что вам нужно, это место, где можно упасть, если вы в Чикаго, приехали ли вы по делам или на отдых. Отель чистый, а персонал замечательный. Нам понравилось жить так близко к Grant Park и Loop. Цена хорошая, и мы получили то, за что заплатили - чистый, удобный номер. Ничего особенного, мы просто хотели быть ближе к достопримечательностям и иметь место для ночевки. Хорошее соотношение цены и хорошее место для проживания.

Отель очень старый, и ванная комната была маленькая. Тем не менее, комната была чистой и постель была удобной. Железнодорожная линия El рядом, но шум не беспокоил нас. Расположение отличное, и цена была разумной, по сравнению с другими отелями вэтом районе.

Быстрый доступ к основным скоростным дорогам, удобный доступ к поездам красной линии, всего в квартале от Мичиган-авеню. Цена конкурентная, что делает этот отель отличной, дешевой альтернативой, если вы планируете находиться в пределах кольцевой.

Холодный душ, дурацкий запах в номере, нет тряпки, фена и утюга, доброжелательный персонал. Номер хорошего размера.

В первом номере были тараканы. Этого уже достаточно, чтобы я присвоил гостинице только одну звезду. После долгих переговоров с администратором, он послал кого-то с нами, чтобы проверить помещение. Видимо, он не поверил нам? Мы вернулись вниз и парень на ресепшене сказал, что это случайность, и что 299 из 300 номеров были 100% хорошими, и нам попросту […] не повезло. Я конечно, не поверил, что во втором этого не будет и сказал ему об этом. В конце концов он дал нам другой номер, который был на несколько этажей выше нашего первого номера. Парень, который проверял наш первый номер был достаточно любезен, и проверить всю комнату, чтобы убедиться, что в этом номере не было тараканов. Новый номер был намного лучше, однако в микроволновке мы обнаружили старое засохшее сыро-подобное вещество по всему дну печки. Хм, не удивительно, что у них тараканы. Мы убедились, что не стоит открывать микроволновую печь, и других нсекомых все оставшееся время не видели. Не стоит жаловаться шум поездов или персонал. Я знал, что получу. А на самом деле, примерно половина из персонала была очень дружелюбной. Коридорные и все женщины выглядели хорошо. Сотрудники-мужчины в костюмах тоже. В основном, осадок у меня остался от тех ребят за стойкой. Это не имело ничего общего с моим рейтингом. Все-таки расположение удивительное. Мы приезжали на фестиваль Lollapalooza, и путь до парка занимал у нас всего минуту. Короче, я не стал бы рекомендовать этот отель, если, конечно, вы не фанат тараканов и грязи в общем. Подробнее

The staff at the reception area seems to be annoyed with the clients they did not show a friendly attitude and seemed rather confused about what was going on with the 3rd party charge just a very unprofessional check in; but the cleaning stafff was great and that was all of the interaction. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great for visiting Columbia College and very convenient to parks, shopping and great food. The most affordable spot in this area.

When we arrived in the room there was one bath towel, one hand towel and no washclothes at all. There were 2 of us staying in the room. On the 2nd day of our stay we ran out of toilet paper. No back up roll in the room. Other than that our room was fine.

The hotel is in a great location in the loop. There are a lot of cool places to check out within easy walking distance. The hotel does NOT offer parking, and you offer you to park across the street for nearly $40. I found this a bit outrageous and found parking a block down for less then $10. The hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast, but there […] is a decent breakfast spot on the first floor of the builidng with very reasonable prices. The elevators were broken for the majority of our stay, which made things harder considering I was staying on the 12th floor. The rooms offer a bed, a very old color television and a bathroom. That's it. The staff was mildly helpful but do not expect them to be too friendly about it. If you don't plan on spending much time aside from sleeping in your hotel, this is for you. But, if you plan on bringing food to refrigerate or valuables that you don't want to carry on you during your day, I suggest staying somewhere else. Подробнее

Lousy! Bathtub was filled with water and dirt upon arrival. Beds and pillows needed to be replaced...all hard as rock. Filthy describes this place best! Will never stay here again!

You only have 1 chance to make a good impression!! I showed up to this hotel and the girl at the front desk was rude and lacked any enthusiasm what so ever. She took my drivers license to photocopy it for security purposes I'm guessing but took approx 3 mins to return it to me. She took her sweet time to walk 20 feet to the room behind the front desk […] and took her sweet time walking back to the front desk. The room was clean and big but is old and could use some remodeling. If you're thinking of staying here and you have a car BE READY TO PAY $35 PER NIGHT TO PARK YOUR CAR!!! If I had known that I would have added the $35 to the price I paid for this hotel and would have stayed at a much nicer place with free parking. Подробнее

Room was a good location to red line trains, however when inspecting the room we found pubes under the pad under the sheets and when we complained to the hotel front desk they cleaned it up but never thanked us for bringing it to their attention, all they said was they would take care of it which took about 30 min to clean up.

I didn't expect much but it was much worse than expected. I couldn't open windows. When I turn on the faucet in the shower, reddish brown water runs out from the shower head for a while.

All I can say is, disappointed.

Was great for the price really only needed the room to sleep. Fast service

This hotel is excellent in terms of location, very close to many attractions of the city. However, the receptionist, lady with glasses was very unhelpful. Has great location. Too expensive for the quality. Every employee here speaks broken English and is almost impossible to understand. Hotel parking is not properly labeled an ended up parking in the wrong lot which cost an extra $10, not a whole lot but adds up. I recommend this hotel because of its great location and low price. However, do not expect to enjoy time in your room. My room was quite small with just a small window. It was a room to crash in, take a bath and hit the streets of downtown Chicago all day and night.

This is the nicest travelodge I have ever stayed in. The room was very big, and so was the bathroom. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave as well. Lots of noise from outside, and the towels smelled a little funky, but great location and great service.

The toliets need to be higher and the toliet seats need to be more durable. I am a small person and I had to squat really low. I can imagine how difficult it would be for a larger and taller person. Also, one has to hold handle down for 15 seconds or more to flush. Please just improve the toliets. Thanks.

This hotel is a complete dump. Do not waste your time or money staying there. It is mis-represented in the ads and is in dis-repair. The lampshades were held together with duct-tape. The el trail comes by every 20 minutes and shakes the building, and we had a loud neighbor who we could hear all night long.

Everything you have read from other reviews in true. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The room was gross, there were numerous large stains on the carpet, comforter, even the desk chair and the door to the room. I was afraid to take off my shoes. That's not even to mention the gap under the door and the hole to one side at the bottom, a small cat probably […] could have squeezed under. And the staff was rude to beat. Just right for its price

The room we got was tiny, but still met our basic needs, except for lack of heat lamp in bathroom, which is common in most hotels, especially important in winter, when we visited. When it lacked hot water yet again later in second day, we complained and the front staff person got us a better room, which was spacious and had everything working, but still no bathroom heat lamp in this older hotel. The positives included comfortable beds, convenient Wi-Fi, and helpful staff. I've never experienced such unfriendly staff, they we're impolite, not interested in talking to guests, every time we got to the desk, we obviously interrupted their eating, you can hear the street noise even on the 11th floor, hotel is in a poor condition, never go there!

The staff was the only good thing about this hotel. The bed was sort of made, the coffee maker and ice container were filthy covered with jelly or something. Overall I enjoyed our stay at this travelodge. My freind and I have stayed here quite a few times. However this hotel does need to make some improvements. When we checked in to the hotel at the begining our stay we were told the room was not ready and we would have to wait for an hour. We did finally did get our room though we did have to wait for 20 […] minutes. I was wondering if they downsized their staff we arrived at 2pm never had a problem before. Also the room did not have cups to make coffee or to brush our teeth I had to ask at the desk for cups. plus on the 2nd day of our stay they did not provide for us fresh washclothes but we did get them on the 3rd day of our stay. Also there was no warning on our 2nd morning when we were leaving to tour Chicago that they were working on the elevator and they did not give us a warning about this. Took this hotel only for the price, since needed it just for one night. Turns out to be very comfortable , clean and confortable hotel, very inexpensive.

I stayed with my 15 year old son. Very easy to get to town.. magnificent mile.. theatre district.. cheap food.. warm (went in winter). If you want to walk around, this is a great place to start out from.

This hotel is less expensive than many of the other downtown Chicago hotels. It is very close to the park and to shopping and metro station. The building was clean and well maintained for an old building. The room was clean except for the windows.

We reserved 2 doubles here and stayed from 12/2 to 12/5 and didn't have any problems whatsoever. It is really close to the "L" and the subway so getting around town was a snap. Walking distance to Millenium Park, Buckingham Fountain, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium and Soldier Field. Navy Pier is nearby also. The beds were comfortable and they kept […] the rooms clean. This is by no means the Hilton but we stayed here for the low price and we didn't expect more than what we paid for. If you're driving, be ready to pay a hefty fee to park. There are lots right across the street and it runs around $28/day to park there. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper so I can't comment on any noise from the trains but let me say that it DOES take me awhile to get to sleep and the trains didn't bother me one bit (not sure if I heard them at night either to tell you the truth so they couldn't have been too loud). The rooms stay very warm so we actually ran the A/C while we were in our rooms and stayed quite comfortable with outside temps lingering near 40. There is a Dunkin Donut shop half a block away and a cafe connected to the hotel. I plan on returning next year for another Bears game. Hopefully this one will be a victory though. Подробнее
