"Would stay again"
The hotel is clean and basic - no frills. The free WiFi was not high speed and was spotty on the second floor - which is where I was. Big sign on the side doors that they were locked between 11pm & 7 am for security - I was there for 6 nights never locked once.

My brother and I drove out to PA from Seattle with all my worldy goods. We needed a place to stay for a couple of days while the house was finished and we could get unloaded. Super 8 was clean, management was efficient and understanding. We stayed in this hotel because it was close to Gettysburg. The hotel is very clean. The people are very friendly and very helpful. It had a very basic breakfast buffet with cereal, bagels, donuts, coffee and orange juice. It suited us just fine. "Pleasant experience, I will return"
The front desk personnel was over-the-top helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean. In all honesty, the only problem was that the cleaning lady consistently put only one towel in our room. Even when I mentioned there were two people, again the next morning we had only one towel. Easy fix, front desk was happy to give us more.

The Super * in Hanover, PA. was excellent. It was clean, and boasted many modern amenities. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. It is definitely where I will stay the next time I'm in the area!

the motel is centrally located to restaurants, shopping, and relatives in that area. The rooms were very clean. I think the rooms were recently updated except for the bathrooms. The manager (Mitchell) was very accommodating and knowlegeable about the Hanover area. We would stay there again.

We had a Hurricane in our hometown so we evacuated to this hotel. Very nice. Was construction in the area but didnt matter to us with the weather we just really stayed in the rooms. Wish they allowed Pets. Would have made things easier

Had a fantastic stay last week-end. Very convenient to all areas of sighseeing, shopping and dining. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was outstanding, especially Mitchell. We didn't have much of an opportunity to talk to the rest of the staff, but in passing through the lobby they always spoke and asked if we were enjoying our stay. Mitchell […] was there upon our arrival and he gave us so much information and was so friendly. We found ourselves just standing in the lobby talking to him. He knew so much about the area and he told us some great places to eat which were so close to the motel that we could have walked. "Decent Hotel"
Get what you pay for at this hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, but non-smoking hallway smelled like smoke and was very warm. Lights are very dim in bathrooms. Only a 15 minute drive from Gettysburg, so savings were great companred to hotels closer.

The hotel was great for our stay. Room was very clean, and there was no smoke smell other reviews claimed. Great location for us. Continental breakfast was pretty sparse, but exactly what we expected. An overall pleasant experience.

"You have to be okay with the smell of cigarettes"
Room was okay, clean and in working order. However, the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. Free Internet, coffee, breakfast foods in lobby. It was worth the price.

"pretty great"
Good hot shower in the morning. All you'd expect from a simple motel. No disappointments at all for a really good price.
The only issue I had was that the sink was clogged and hadn't been cleaned. Other than that, no problems, friendly staff.

This was adequate for our needs, however I would not stay more than a day or two. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor, only steps, and there was construction going on near the steps. Dangerous!

"Great Room for the Money"
The price was right - but our non smoking room smelled suspiciously like someone had smoked in it. Maybe it was the cleaning team. When I got home, I had to wash the clothes that I hadn't worn because they smelled so terrible. However, I would stay here again because of the price and location.

I found the accommodations to be excellent. The only problem I had was the mattress. I require a firm or very firm mattress because of arthritis in the lower back. However, when I booked the room I neglected to tell that to the booking agent. Consequently, I can't--nor do I--hold Motel 8 or any of its peronnel accountable. I enjoyed my stay at the facility. "Bad PLace"
The people put us in a smoking room that smelled like a bar the internet did not work and the breakfast was a joke. They really dont care about their people. The blankets had cigarette burn holes in them

The room was easily accessible. The bath was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. "Just what expected for the money."
The hotel was nice, clean and just what expected for the money. Only complaint was that our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Convenient to Gettysburg, about 20 minutes or so away. Make sure to use hotels.com, because the hotel will not match the price.
