Отель красивый. От персонала я ожидал большего, ну, чтобы советовали куда отправиться, помогали с бронированием и т.д. Но они мне казались какими-то раздраженными. В Испании была ЗАПЛАНИРОВАННАЯ забастовка. Отель оповестил это простым сообщением по гостиничному ТВ-каналу. Мне кажется масштабы были приуменьшены, было более 500 человек, погромы, баррикады […] и т.д. Баррикады строили напротив входа в отель, так что мы были в заточении. Персоналу было все равно, они не помогали нам выбраться. Я ожидал большего от 5-звездочного отеля. Кроме всех обычных сказочных удобств отеля, Westin Palace в Мадриде в этот раз превзошли все пределы в этот раз. У сына была температура, доктор был в нашем номере уже через полчаса. Врач был опытный, вдумчивый, очень умный, и мы почувствовали большое облегчение, когда он выписал рецепты. Удачно, что хорошая аптека оказалась совсем рядом с отелем. Кроме […] того, нам перенесли расчетный час (на 9:00 вечера!), Так что, мой сын смог прийти в себя. Люблю, люблю, люблю эту гостиницу. Великолепный отель, очень хорошо расположен. Отличный ресторан и прекрасное обслуживание.

Во время нашей поездки по Испании, мы с мужем жили 3 дня в Westin Palace в Мадриде. Нас приятно удивил прекрасный номер и удобное расположение. Я очень рекомендую этот отель всем, кто находится в Мадриде с визитом. Мы жили в Junior Suite, в котором была огромная гостиная в полтора раза больше ванной комнаты, огромная спальня и гардеробная. Окна выходили […] на церковь через дорогу и милую переулок. Когда мы приехали, я была в восторге от великолепия декора и приветственного блюда с фруктами. Ванная большая с отдельным душем и отдельной ванной. Отель великолепный, в лучшем месте города. Музей Прадо в 2 минутах ходьбы позади отеля, фонтан Нептуна напротив фасада, а все туристические места находятся в нескольких минутах ходьбы, так что нам не пришлось пользоваться общественным транспортом. Персонал дружелюбный и очень любезный, мы никогда не пользуемся обслуживанием в номере, но питались мы в ресторане отеля, и еда была удивительной. Я советую попробовать суп минестроне. Минус только в том, что Интернет не входил в стоимость номера, а еще шло какое-то строительство или реконструкция, поэтому шумели с самого утра, не так громко, чтобы разбудить нас. Еще совет бонусом, если не хотите пользоваться прачечной в отеле (что чрезвычайно дорого во всех гостиницах в Европе), то автоматическая прачечная есть в 5 минутах ходьбы от отеля. Расположение идеальное, а гостиница довольно милая. Множество замечательных мест, где можно перекусить, в гостинице питаться дорого. Консьерж был очень любезен и рассказал про соседние улицы, а если учесть, что два лучших музея тут же... нет, лучше быть не может. Фантастически отдохнули.

Очень красивый и изысканный отель в центре города. Единственный негативный отзыв о платном интернете в номерах (WiFi) и еще нет возможности приготовить чай или кофе в номере. В конце-то концов, это пятизвездочный отель!

Наше пребывание было фантастическим. ОЧЕНЬ удобно добираться куда угодно. Через дорогу от музея Прадо, недалеко от большинства других достопримечательностей. Персонал очень дружелюбный и услужливый.

The best experience. Very well located, friendly staff, a very classy hotel.

After a long transatlantic flight it was great to be in a comfortable, well run, hotel but it did not meet the 5-star standard, at least for me. No pool or hot tub, no in-room coffee, very little (visible) bell service. Concierge was acceptable, nothing special. The check-in reception staff was quite helpful and when we requested an adjoining room with […] our teenage kids and they went out of our way to find us one and even had out bags moved there for us. Unfortunately the doors between the rooms were double locked and there was no way for us to open them (from either room) without keys (which were no where to be found). We were so tired by the time we were going to bed that we didn't even bother to call the front desk for help locating the keys. Oh well, our kids didn't mind their extra privacy :) Let me close with two positive comments about the hotel: it was very elegant and historic looking, nicely maintained AND the location just across the street from the famous PRADO art museum was really wonderful. Also the gorgeous Nepture fountain was right outside the front door. If you get a very good deal on this hotel, go for it, but DO NOT pay top dollar. Подробнее

Exceeded expectations!!! Superb hotel

This hotel has an excellent location near all the major museums. The lobby was fantastic. Had a premium room but it was a little small for the room charge. Westin beds are always comfortable as was the case here. The bathroom and Shower were also excellent. Hotel service was great. The concierge service was good. Book this hotel and have no doubt this is a world class hotel. Excellent Service. Concierge is Excellent. Staff is very friendly. Classic Property in Madrid. Close to everything.

This is a very good hotel. Lives up to expectations. We had two guys in one room with a roll away bed and there was plenty of room. Great location as far as touring, next door to Prado. Very close to Prado museum and train terminal. Very good taxi service at the hotel - doorman got us a taxi in seconds. Many English speaking employees which was very helpful for us.

This is a nice hotel -- not exceptional, but nice, in a good location. The pluses -- beautiful lobby area, comfortable beds, windows that open (although road is not very quiet), nice bathrooms. The negatives -- sparse amenities for a Westin (very skimpy on towels for some reason!, turndown service only on request, no inroom or lobby coffee, etc), VERY […] expensive to consume anything on premises from a drink, to breakfast to internet service -- Sunday brunch was over 70 euros per person, while weekday breakfast was maybe half that price. We didn't try it, so maybe it was unbelievably special? For me, it was good enough, but I'd probably try a different hotel next time. Подробнее

All the ingredients for a great hotel are there, but there was a serious flaw. Wi-Fi costs 6 Euro an hour or 20 Euro a day. It is bad enough to be charging outrageous rates for something most hotels provide free. But it is worse that access can be purchased for only one computer per room--so if you are a couple with two smart phones like we were, one […] of you gets to do without. And worse yet, the system did not work at all with our iPhones. In fairness, after much hassle the hotel did get both of our phones on line with a secret code, and did not charge us during our stay. But that was only after three trips to the front desk on three separate days and way too much haggling. Note to Westin: charging for Wi-Fi in this day and age is bound to be generating far more ill will than revenue. It's time to ditch that policy. Fantastic hotel in great location. Staff was most accommodating. They allowed us an early check-in. We were also provided a very nice rollaway bed as requested. The Westin is located close to all attractions - the museums, the old city, the big shoping streets, fun bars, restaurants and cafes. The room was very silent and comfortable. The single problem was the cold bathroom and toilet, which were freezing and could not be warmed.

The Palace is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful neighborhood -- walking distance to the Prado and many other must-see sights. The service was excellent, and the staff courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, we loved the breakfast area and the rooms are nice. Location is very good. It is not cheep but I think we will go back if & when possible.

The Westin Palace Hotel is located close to all the tourist sights and museums and parks. Walking is easy and neighborhood restaurants are plentiful. We had only one issue with the hotel and that was that the housekeeping staff removed a personal item from our suitcase. AC not functinoning properly.One night too hot and the other too cold. After 1 hour 30 minutes of waiting in the room without maintanance showing, the front desk staff said "We have 500 rooms and only one maintance working" with no manager or even assistance manager on duty." We have stayed here before. There were loose floor tiles in the bathroom, also its door was damaged and some of the painting had chipped away. They need to add more units in the computer room, children tend to stay chatting for long periods and adults can not use the computers as needed. Their staff is superb, all of it! This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The room was clean, comfortable and a very reasonable size. The bathroom was also spacious. you cannot beat the location of this hotel, or the grandeur...but DO NOT go with the concierges' recommendations for dinner....sent us to VERY touristy, mediocre restaurants, so disappointing as we only had 2 nights in madrid!

The hotel was in a great location! Directly across from the Prado Museum and located within walking distance to all of the City Center, including the Gran Villa. The room was larger than most you'll find in Europe. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Had no idea about all the construction going on outside the hotel. Ended up walking up and down the block trying to find the entrance even though apparently the doorman saw us get out of the taxi. Outstanding location is convenient for all major attractions in Madrid. Rooms are spacious and beds are extremely comfortable. Perhaps the highlight is the excellent staff--kind and always willing to help without the slightest hint of pretentiousness.

The Westin Palace was a perfect hotel choice to end a long journey through Italy and Spain. Not only does it have a grand presents in Madrid, it is next to the Paseo Del Prado and convenient to museums, points of interest and shopping areas. Our bathroom was well appointed but the door needs a fresh coat of paint. Our room rate included the breakfast buffet in the spectacular dining hall, with its domed ceiling and tradional furnishings. The buffet was well stocked for European and American tastes. My only complaint is the coffee which needs improvement. We found the staff to be very nice, always with a smile and most spoke english. The conceirge was helpful with recommendations and reservations. Our favorite Restaurant recommendation was the Corral De La Moreria Flamenco- Restaurant.
