The motel is close to a variety of restaurants and shopping centers and other motels. I found it comfortable and clean but the room did show signs of aging. the free "breakfast" was adequate but unexceptional. I felt that the price was realistic and my minimal needs were well met.

Nice room - was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave, fridge too. Breakfast the next morning was not so good - coffee terrible, waffle stuck to the waffle maker so bad we had to "abandon" it - can't they provide non-stick spray? the stay was fine, not at the hotel that much. The parking lot had trash everywhere. The room was clean and had new carpet. The thing that bother me the most was, I was there to go to the casino's and the safe in the first room they put us in did not work. They moved us to another room and the safe in that room did not either. There was not a maintenance […] person there or anyone that could change the batteries in the safe. Stay was fine until about 1:30 am and the person at the front desk put a group of young kids right beside us. They were so loud slamming doors and yelling. The thing that got us was the next morning when we checked out there were 15 other rooms empty right down the line. Fresh paint, no broken furniture, had refrigerator and microwave, handicap accessible, convenient to shopping, restaurants, casino.

Arrived at motel to find a cold room. Took heater over an hour to reach a temperature that I could take my coat off. Chipped tiles, peeling paint, stains on towels and hair on toilet. At least the WIFI worked. Wont be staying here again.

We were very happy with the Days Inn Dover Delaware. It was a great experience. The staff was great and the location was very conveinent. We thought the hotel was perfect for us.

AS ALWAYS, THE DAYS INN STAFF PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE.I MY WIFE AND MYSELF HAVE BEEN STAYING AT THE DAYS INN IN DOVER FOR SEVERAL YEARS; AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A BAD STAY!

I don't travel to Dover, De. as much as I use to, but when I do I always try to stay at the Days Inn, because the staff is outstanding.

Well, went to check in & was told "I called & cancelled it because I wasn't coming on my trip". Obviously another "Jackson" called to cancelled & one of your employees cancelled mine. She told me "well they're not allowed to do that since you went through Hotels.com" After waiting 20-25 minutes, "oh we have a room". I finally get the key, go to room […] 301! I stepped 1 foot in the door & it stunk of smoke!!! I am highly allergic to smoke & both myself & daughter have asthma! Drove back up front to office. I walked in & told her "that's a smoking room" Mine you it was after 4 pm when I arrived & I the parking lot was all but empty, WHY WAS THERE NOT A NON-SMOKING KING ROOM CLEAN & READY IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A RESERVATION!!! I told her I was in the middle of cooking dinner at my Mother-in-laws & I would come back, but to make sure that the room I get is NON-SMOKING, has a pull out bed and there are sheets for the pull out bed, because our last stay, we rented 2 rooms & there were NO sheets or covers for the pull-outs & when I came up front to ask for them, he said "sorry I don't have any & I don't have a key to get any". No coffee at breakfast, waffle mix way too think, missing an ingrediant, was like rubber! Horrible stay! Подробнее

The hotel is in need of updates but we were only staying for one night to break up our 8 hour drive from NY to VA so it was sufficient for that purpose. We have a local Days Inn that is much nicer so I did expect it to be a little bit better than it was.

The Hotel has great bones. The care is rough. The rug in the room was nasty- nasty -nasty.... enough that I did not feel comfortable to take off my shoes. The bed linens were soiled and stank. We were in a smoking room, but my house doesn't smell that gross. The grounds had trash, refuge that the service people, I watched, walked over and did not bend […] to pick up. I picked up a piece of Pizza, coke bottle, stuff and a bunch of cigarette butts to clean up my area for my 2 day comfort. Suggestion could be a can for trash outside the units to help the staff. Wash the bed quilts or throw them out, buy new. I don't think I'll be back. The waffles were great! Breakfast part of the stay was very good. Подробнее

For the price, this motel is the place to stay. Everything you could need: refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, safe. The smell of the room was a mix of cleaner and cigarette smoke, but for a weekend visit i didn't have a problem with it. I will definitely go back.

Just needed a place to crash for one night on our way through Delaware. This was a great option. It's not the Ritz by any means, but it definitely gets the job done! Front desk folks were great.

Was satisfactory for the 1 night. Since there was 3 of us we didnt particularly like the sink located outside the bathroom. No one mentioned to us about the free continental breakfast...so we guessed wasn't worth mentioning.

Place was very convienient. Just needed a place to stay overnight, cause I was working at the casino. A mile away from the casino, plenty of places to eat on Route 13. Staff was excellent, would stay there again.

The hotel was comfortable and convenient. Hotel staff was friendly and the maids were very friendly and met our needs when we asked for extra towels and washcloths. All in all it was a nice stay quiet and comfortable.

I read reviews before I booked the room and was very apprehensive about my stay. I was quickly surprised by how clean my room was. The staff was very pleasant and engaging. Pros: Plasma TV, refrigerator, microwave, working AC. Cons: Remodeling being done on certain rooms, bad recent painting (could still smell) with small spills on chair, shower curtain, etc. Did get a basic breakfast and centrally located. Very basic room, definitely 2 star hotel.

Outside of the property is unkempt. One night, three different rooms (all unsatisfactory), and one full refund. First room had a hole in the wall as if someone had a fight in the room. Non-smoking room still smelled of smoke. Carpet was clean but stained. TV remote needed new batteries, hole in the wall (small) near the entry door. Exterior was well kept. Motel was pet friendly although I did not have my dog with me...this is a plus. To get ice, you have to go to the lobby.

This is the dirtiest, poorest maintained Days Inn I've ever stayed in. The first room had such stained up carpet we were uncomfortable taking our shoes off. The bathroom had a dried puddle of urine on the floor and hair behind the toilet seat. We told the front desk folks and they said they would address it with housekeeping. When we returned to the […] room later that day, it still smelled in the bathroom, the hair was still on the toilet and the room had not been vacuumed or the sink wiped down. We were moved to a second room which smelled much better and had obviously newer carpet but the tub was cracked and the toilet leaked from the bottom of the tank. When housekeeping "cleaned" this room the next day all they did was change the towels. They did not make the beds, vacuum, or wipe down the sink. Even outside of the hotel was poorly maintained. There was trash all along the sidewalk and driveway mixed in with leaves that should have been cleaned up long ago. I'm glad we only prepaid a couple days here or we would have taken our losses and gone somewhere else. Plenty of other hotels are nearby. A/C in the front office and dining area was not functioning and according to staff had not been for over 3 weeks. It was over 90deg in the office and dining area. The front desk staff I dealt with were very friendly and seemed concerned about our satisfaction, but were unable to fix the issues. Подробнее
