Отель мне понравился. Номер убирался регулярно. Белье менялось, мне показалось, каждый день. Притензий к отелю нет. Предраться было не к чему.

Отличнейший отель. Расположение прекрасное: рядом (2 минуты пешком или около 100 метров) метро, которое очень удобно в плане "добраться" до любой точки манхеттана, всего 2 станции до манхэттана и эта ветка пересекается почти со всеми, что очень удобно. У нас был номер с видом на Манхэттан и мост. В номере кофеварка со всеми необходимыми причиндалами, удобная кровать. Отель такого класса на Манхэттане будет стоить как минимум в 2 раза дороже, лино я не вижу необходимости переплачивать, т.к. все очень близко. В следующий раз остановимся в нем же.

Very good location, good price. No good personal, dirty room, but very clean beds, service in the room everyday, really small rooms. If you need to live next to city center to see the nightlife of NYC and also you have no much money thats will be your choise.

это ужасный отель, комнаты слишком маленькие и грязные. Я забронировал на 2 ночи, но пришлось отменить вторую ночь.

Этот отель очень выгодно расположен по отношению ко всему, пешком можно дойти до Macy's, 42 улицы, театров и ресторанов. Однако, я думаю, номер был слишком маленький, и телевизор совсем старый. Лифты были сломанные. Номер был сырой и грязный. Дверные замки из 50-х. Кондиционер, вмонтированный в окно, работал очень шумно и мешал спать. В отеле все старое: в смысле не очарование старины, а такое, что заставляет Вас недоумевать, кто-нибудь здесь менял краны, убирался в номере, чистил ковер за последние 20 лет. We were very sorry to learn that you were dissatisfied with your recent stay at the Milford Plaza and hope that you will accept our sincere apologies for your disappointing experience. Our hotel was purchased in November 2010 from a previous ownership entity and some of our rooms are showing the effect of deferred maintenance by them. However, we have begun a $140 million renovation and modernization of the hotel to address these issues which we expect to be completed sometime in mid – 2012, with newly renovated rooms available as soon as late summer 2011. All rooms will be gut-renovated and feature new a/c units, remodeled bathrooms, platform beds, built-in clothing storage, sleek chairs and desks with plug-ins for personal electronic devices and flat screen TVs. Until our modernization is completed, we realize that the current physical condition of the hotel does not always meet the high standards we aspire to but always try to provide a clean and friendly experience to all and we deeply regret that this was not your experience. We do hope that you will return post-renovation to experience our brand new "urban chic" design as we transform The Milford back to the iconic status it once enjoyed.

Комнаты крошечные, как и во многих отелях Нью-Йорка, но все работало, персонал был услужливый (для Нью-Йорка) и расторопный, а местоположение было лучше не придумаешь: 2 квартала от Таймс-сквер, три небольших квартала от подземки, в самом сердце района театров. Я путешествовал с сыном, и это был единственный подходящий вариант по соотношению цена-качество, […] который я смог найти среди вариантов с двумя кроватями - односпальными, по крайней мере это были 2 кровати. Если вы просто ищите, где переночевать недалеко от Таймс-сквер, этот отель подойдет. Вы платите за местоположение, не за номер. Номер совсем крошечный, ванная очень маленькая, сейф в номере был сломан, ковер и мебель в номере были потрепанные и старые. Вы практически ничего, кроме местоположения, не получаете за довольно приличные деньги.
"потеряли мой багаж"
Когда я прибыл в аэропорт, оказалось, что не хватает сумки моей дочери. В отеле забыли положить ее в такси. Я был в 45 минутах езды от отеля, и мой самолет улетал через 45 минут. It is difficult to address the issue without knowing the complete details of the incident and circumstances at the time of your departure but I can assure you that our bell staff makes every attempt to ensure that every guest’s belongings are safely sent off with them. During busy periods with a crush of arrivals and departures, it can get confusing at the curb and we always encourage guests to count their bags to ensure that nothing is left behind. When you noticed that the bag was missing, our staff did everything they could to ensure that the bag reached you in good time for your flight and sincerely regret that you feel that their efforts were lacking.

Very bad first day. We were told we would need to be moved the next day as we are checking in. I had to debate with clerk and manager. The reason is that Hotels.com had overbooked that hotel. The hotel has reasonable prices for its location. The only problem we had was that people in the next room were smoking and the smell of smoke was so overpowering that it woke us up when they came back to their room at 4AM. "GOOD LOCATION."
Bathroom heat was to HIGH.. Had to keep bathroom window open alittle. Can tell bathroom door had water damage. Rug was little dirty.

"No hot water"
The rooms were clean, but have been remodeled cheaply and hazardously; there was no cover over the only extremely bright bedside light and almost caused me to burn my hand, but worst of all: there was no hot water for the shower in the morning and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders with the explanation that a boiler was down.

The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The location is perfect for theatre goers.
Room was very small but the hotel was very close to Time Square and Broadway which was nice.

It was clean and close to everything I needed for the night.
"No hot water"
Long line to check in when I first arrived. Hallways and rooms looked like they needed to be vacuumed. Ice cold shower in the morning. Front desk manager offered nothing but an apology and late check out. I didnt want to stay past 12 noon so that did me no good.

"Ideal sightseeing location"
Room had recently been refurbished to a very good standard, very clean with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately street noise was clearly audible in room. ideal location for sightseeing, one block from Times Square, convenient metro stations, Penn station and central Park within walking distance.

Great location, clean room, very small, surprisingly quiet. The fact that the hotel elevator wasn't working and I had to walk up 13 floors wasn't pleasant

It was too noisy in the room (conditioner and street noise). And our main problem was how to get good breakfast.

The management was rude and not very accommodating to its guests. Check-in times were not honored. I was charged for 3 days of parking when really it should have only been 2 days. "Location is the only good thing"
This is the fourth hotel I've stayed in NY, and by far the worst. It's not worth the price I paid. It felt more like a hostel. The room was right at the end of a long grayish black hallway. The "newly-renovated" twin bed room was too small and the bedroom door could not be closed - the door frame doesn't quite fit the door!! It felt unsafe! The hotel is conveniently located within 3 blks of the PABT and the subway. Lots of shops & restaurants close by, and right off Times Square. They also sent a bellman w/ the new keys and luggage cart so I wouldn't be inconvenienced. Friendly and efficient staff. Love the computerized elevator system that will get you right to your floor quickly. Bed was very comfy. Tub nice and deep for a soak after walking about the city or dancing the night away. Great shower heads - good water pressure and very hot water - not always possible in older hotels. Love the lit mirror in the bathroom for applying makeup. Nice desk space for working. Great big full length mirror for getting ready for a night out on the town. Nice window treatments, lots of hangers. Had a cool European feel. I was relieved that this was just what I was hoping for- clean, comfortable, and close to Times square. "Satisfactory value for the money"
Was in NYC alone on business and stayed one night to meet friends for dinner. Service is satisfactory for that purpose but it's not a place I'd want to stay for more than a night. Flat-screen TV worked. Don't know about restaurant (if any). Reminds me of hotels in Europe that cost much more. I recently returned from NY on a 3-nite stay at the Milford Plaza. I haven't stayed there in several years but always found the hotel friendly and clean. This time, service was a bit lacking. I originally booked with Hotels.com and asked for a mini-fridge for my meds, however, when I called the Front Desk to request its delivery, I was told OK and never […] received it or a call back. I loved this hotel! The location was fantastic (located one block away from Times Square and right next to a lot of the theaters) and the staff was very kind. It was very clean and I never had any problems. It is kind of an old hotel, though, so the insolation was not that great. I happened to be there at the end of Winter and it was still very chilly.
