сопоставляя стоимость проживания и расположение в самом центре,- с некоторыми неудобствами в части комфорта (очень старая модель телевизора, ужасное качество, 2-3цвета всего, нет телефона, нет холодильника),-считаю неплохой вариант для недолгого проживания, 2-3 суток. Вокруг много казино, стрип баров и прочих мест ночных развлечений.

Рекомендую. Хороший недорогой отель :)

Близость ко всему главное достоинство отеля. Рядом метро,основные магазины,Мариенплатц.

Очень скромная и недорогая гостиница в Мюнхене Modern Hotel. расположена в самом центре города (5 минут). Вкусные и скромные завтраки. Но гостиница требует ремонта, старый интерьер. Рекомендую для экономных и непритязательных туристов.

Этот отель был превосходен для нас с моим спутником по путешествию, так как все, что нам было нужно, это кровать, чистый номер и легкий доступ к Marienplatz (главная площадь). Эта гостиница расположена через дорогу от нескольких стрип-клубов, так же, как двери одного клуба соседствуют с дверями другого. Но если вы не окажетесь на улице среди ночи, вы этого не заметите. Кроме того, отель в хорошем районе. Близко к huaptbahnhof (Это главный железнодорожный вокзал), в 10-15 минутах ходьбы от Мариенплац и Глокеншпиля. Мне нужно было удобное место, чтобы остановиться в Мюнхене после 3 недель в Италии, и даже после прочтения некоторых комментариев, я все же решил попробовать этот отель. Ожидания у меня были невысокие, и они определенно оправдались! Место удобное, но на этом плюсы заканчиваются. Комната не в надлежащем состоянии, из четырех лампочек в потолочном светильнике […] три перегорели или были разбиты, и еще две на прикроватном столике не работали. Когда я сказал об этом парню, занимавшемуся уборкой номера, он немедленно их заменил. Кажется, он единственный из всего персонала был заинтересован в помощи гостю. Кроме того, душевой кабине, которая есть во многих европейских гостиницах, не было одной из закрывающихся панелей, так что было трудно не разбрызгивать воду по всей ванной. Настрой персонала граничит с враждебностью. Днем клерк за стойкой, кажется, работал в детском саду и был вынужден следить за 4 шумными детьми, каждый из которых играл в игровую приставку не в вестибюле. Когда я спросил, можно ли где-нибудь посидеть в тишине, чтобы воспользоваться бесплатным вай-фаем, он направил меня в залу для завтраков, которая в другое время служит рестораном. Даже несмотря на то, что она была совершенно пустой, официантка накричала на меня за то, что я включил свой IPad, не заказав еду. Отель удачно расположен, в нескольких метрах от остановок общественного транспорта, в 10 минутах ходьбы от Marien Platz, одной из достопримечательностей, которую просто необходимо посмотреть в Мюнхене. Завтрак стандартный, но обслуживание ужасное, персонал не улыбается и не говорит по-английски, и если вы задаете больше одного вопроса, начинают вести себя очень грубо. Бесплатный ва-фай есть, но так как нет вестибюля, то если занят единственный диванчик, стоящий у лестницы, вам придется сидеть на ступеньках! В заключение хочу сказать, что за те же деньги вы можете найти место намного лучше. Я определенно заплатил куда больше, чем тот отель заслуживал. Отель отличный. По цене он гораздо привлекательнее, чем более дорогие места, в которых мы останавливались в Париже и Лондоне. Отель действительно потрясающий, и это понимаете, как только в него входите. Он асположен в районе прямо рядом с железнодорожной станцией, где полно гостиниц, магазинов, ресторанов и стрип-клубов. Was a bit unclean, but ok to stay overnight. Low price with good location made it an ok deal.

Never wrote a review about anywhere i have stayed before but seems this place gets such a bad name that is not justified, thought i would write. If your looking for luxury then dont stay at the Modern. If your looking for a cheap room, no frills, central location then stay here!! The staff were great. Breakfast basic but fine. Stayed with my girlfriend the one night and ran out as soon as possible. The room felt unclean, with shades of stains on the carpet and one of the walls. Everything seemed half finished: - The room's main door couldn't open all the way through. The wall is placed over the door's hinges, blocking their full range of movement. It felt extremely weird. - The toilet had some toilet paper floating inside, which isn't a sight you want to see as it's supposed to be pre-cleaned. Room walls were colored green, except for a white rectangle on one of them, which didn't seem new- the white seemed dirty. - The heavy window shades covered only one third of the window. - The closet had one door missing. The hotel's location is part positive (close to the central station) part negative (this doesn't seem to be the best neighborhood, with stripper joints around). The staff at the reception were very nice and helpful and the hotel is in a good location, but that's all. All the hotel is old and not well kept. Everything looks dirty and very old. The breakfast is really poor and does not look very attractive. It is a cheap acommodation in a good location, that's all.

The hotel Modern was in a good location close to the train station and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed comfortable and clean. Hotel Modern was pretty shabby, even for the low price I wouldn't stay there again. Nearby were better choices in the same price range.

Enjoyed our stay....room was clean....hall carpets were worn...but overall a good buy for the money...staff friendly ....area not so bad...we walked home at 1100 pm after opera...cant beat the location

THE hotel was very close to the train station. Not even 5 minutes, easy to find. I don't think it was in a good neighborhood. It felt like the bad neighborhood of a middle eastern country. If the price is the only thing that matters to you, a stay at this hotel can be considered. Don't have any expectations though. negative: very poor maintenance level of the hotel, wifi only in staircase positive: insulated glass windows, basic breakfast included, close to subway and train station

The breakfast was fine. The place is very convenient, being very near to everything, especially the train station.

I have no complaints whatsoever about this hotel. True, It's located in a bit of a seedy neighbourhood, but the main train station is a three minute walk away, the room was spacious, the bed was fine, and contrary to other guests' experience it was very quiet at night. The Hotel Modern is anything but Modern. It is very close to the Train station and inexpensive. Those two elements may sound good but they should also indicate disaster. The neighborhood was very seedy even at 7am when I arrived at the train station. I got to the hotel and noticed it was very near the strip clubs, dirty casinos, and hobos were abound. […] I dropped my bags and went to the good side of Munich and had a wonderful day. When I returned to check in at 4pm it became clear this was a hood. I did not feel safe in the streets then let alone when it got dark. When I got to the room the floor was stained, there was no AC, and the balconies were all interconnected so opening a window was not an option. I wouldn't stay here again. Hotel was surrounded by strip clubs and our room was very ugly and not very clean. Felt like we would be broken into. Also the patios are all conected so couldn't leave the window open.

FYI, this hotel is in the "Red Light" district. There are plenty of strip clubs and other forms of alternative entertainment on Schiller if that's what you are into.

The room was small, the furniture old, the smell was awful, it was damp and we had a wafting of cooked food in our room. It was so stuffy we had to keep the window open all the time we were there. The corridor was just as badly decorated and kept. The breakfast was just about adequate.

Absolutely morbid hotel. Carpets date back to 1950's, they are filthy, have burn marks all over them and smell disgusting. Rooms are not cleaned & dirty towels not replaced. I definitely do NOT recommend this hotel

Hotel Modern is located about two blocks from where you walk out of the train station Munich City Center. Hotel is run down--grafitti on elevator walss, it holds only four people and did not respond to summons from the fourth floor but will stop there on the way up. The hotel is super close to the main train station and very convenient to walk to. It is however on a street with a bunch of late night restaurants and strip clubs so it's loud at night. Close to the railway station - clean room , friendly and helpful reception staff and good value for money. Had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet.

it's what we expected. we got there too early to checkin, so we left our bags at a locker in the train station and walked around til the room was available for checkin. the neighborhood is interesting. Saimme heti tultuamme vaihdettua huoneen allergiahuoneeksi, joka oli siisti ja sisäpihan puolella. Hiljainen. Ovien paukuttelu kuului huoneeseen, mutta katumelu ei.Ystävällinen palvelu ja aamiainen oli muuten riittävä, mutta ei ollut mitään vihanneksia eikä hedelmiä.

Uberalles meine Erfarhrung bei diesem Hotel war schrecklich. Die Zufriedenheit, Sauberkeit und Service sind gar nicht empfehlenswert.
