We were disappointed and greatly inconvenienced upon our room not being ready when we arrived. Having paid in advance and being held to our end of the deal, alll we received in return was a "sorry" and passing the blame to guests who left the hotel late. Kids were running wild through the hotel and loud! Room was nice, but you could hear others in the next room. The hot tubs were nasty. Not sure when the last time they were cleaned. Indoor pool was super cold! Description said "heated". We called to front desk to ask what time the pool closed and the girl didn't know and wouldn't ask anyone. Then called […] down to ask if there were locker rooms or restrooms down in the pool area and the girl didn't know that either. It took almost an hour to get a mini fridge to our room that we had to pay for. The hotel was very nice, but staff lacked knowledge. We would stay there again, just hope it's a little better stay. I don't know that I'd say this hotel was great, but it was decent. The room was very small for two adults and two small children. The bed was comfortable, but nothing was outstanding. Me and my wife went to this hotel for a romantic getaway once we arrived we went to the bar where the bartender refused to serve my wife ! He said it was because her licence was expired so we left and went to bar and they took her ID and after that we went to a theater and they ID her no problem ! The Man that was bar tending that night at the hotel […] was rude and inconsiderate! Lets just say it was ridiculous that we where charged for internet where most hotels have free wifi!!! The hotel was clean and good service...but that was the smallest room in a Hyatt I have ever stayed in....and I had to pay for parking...$8 ....and had to walk for what seemed like a quarter mile from my parking spot to my room...very nice lobby and restaurant...and had to pay for internet......not worth the money

my only complaint was that we had 3 registered for and staying in the room and there were only 2 coffee cups, no water glasses and exactly 3 bath towels. the staff was great and food in restaurant was excellent.

We really like staying here.. this time the accommodations, were lower that we have had in the past.The Things we noticed were: the pillows on the bed, the shower were really showing their age.. The Staff,, always friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is newer and well kept with several onsite ammenities. Downsides - not all rooms have a good view dispite the hotel being downtown and on the river, and many ammenities come with a surcharge such as parking, mini-fridge, and breakfast.

I have stayed at at least 10 other higher end hotels in Wichita. Hyatt is the best for cleanliness, facilities, on-site dining, and professional staff. Rooms aren't the largest, but nicely updated and clean. Nice job, keep it up!

Overall we had a great stay at the hotel. We only had one issue - the drain stopper in the bathroom sink did not work. Very convenient and clean hotel.

Nothing special about this hotel. Did not have a mini fridge, microwave, or free breakfast where other hotels offer the little things like that. We also could not find a ice machine or pop machines. They did not provide any drinking glasses for water even in the rooms. Bed was not that comfortable either. If you had to check-in or checkout you had to wait in a long line to speak to a receptionist. They had 3 guys waiting to park your cars but only 2 ppl helping the long line of people trying to check-in/out. Did not make since to me. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate. We did have a very nice view of the river area and the baseball stadium. Definitely worth checking out when in Wichita. Very easy to get in and out of with easy access to major roads.

The very new Hyatt Regency Hotel is nice and clean in every way. It has an excellent breakfast buffet that is worth waking up to, The valet service is so convenient.. The bedding is my only drawback. It doesn't have the feel of soft and inviting although it is clean and white. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price! They did try to charge for breakfast and parking which were listed as free when we selected it from Expedia. They seemed confused as to why, but waved the charges. Close to downtown Wichita.
