Amazing service, good restaurants, neat park-like property. The building shields the grounds from the street noise - can't hear the cars honking. Rooms have double doors toward street and balconies in back toward the grounds with pool and restaurants. Surprisingly tasty dimsum lunch deal at their chinese restaurant. Service is great but perhaps over […] the top. That said, they ended up being quite helpful for us on our trip out. Stayed for 1 night at end of work/vacation trip in other parts of the region. It was my first trip to India and focused on business. I found myself constantly amazed, and thoroughly satisfied by all aspects of the Oberoi Hotel and its staff. Just amazing! "One of the Best"
I stayed at this hotel on three occassions on my recent trip to India. Every time, I found them to be impeccable in their attention to details. Their "no service charge and no tipping" policy is to be highly commended. There is a certain grace when a staff member provides the service requested and withdraws without waiting for the customary gratuity.
